Ep. 23: Danish Service Design Applied in Japanese Preventive Healthcare with Esben Grøndal
In this episode we're joined by Esben Grøndal. Esben co-founded the Japanese subsidiary of Danish Healthcare and welfare agency Public Intelligence, where he is responsible for everything from generating sales to delivering service design and innovation consultancy between Denmark and Japan. Over the course of this hour Esben uses his service design lens to walk us through the opportunities and challenges of the relatively untapped Japanese Welfare and Preventive Healthcare market. Together, as two Human Centered Design professionals, Esben and I explore how might we use Japanese cultural assets; such as omotenashi or teinei to accelerate the design process rather than hinder it.
I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did and don’t forget to share your feedback with me on your favorite social platform.
