Episode 26
The opportunity to speak to a living legend doesn’t come around often and this chat with David Starbrook MBE was an absolute privilege.
We talk about David’s beginnings in judo, competing in two Olympic Games and being the first British Olympic medalist in judo winning silver at the 1972 Games in Munich and winning a second medal, a bronze, at the 1976 Games in Montreal. We discuss his training method, the Renshudan and alot more.
This interview just scratches the surface of David’s life and his amazing judo career. There are so many stories and hopefully there will be an opportunity to revisit those in the future.
