Our self-care can gradually decline and lead us to burnout before we even realize it. Thankfully, by understanding how the nature of self-care, our feelings, and the stress cycle are all connected, we can put boundaries in place to protect ourselves from reaching that point again. This week, episode 105 of the Positively Living Podcast is about setting boundaries for sustainable self-care!
In this episode of the Positively Living Podcast, my guest Justine Sones shares the importance of pinpointing what self-care means to you and provides actionable steps you can take right now to develop healthy boundaries and practice sustainable self-care.
Justine and I cover the following topics:
- Why it’s so easy to let our self-care decline right before our eyes and not even realize it.
- The implications of pouring from an empty cup.
- How to understand what you need, which you need before setting boundaries.
- Steps to tap into your self-care and create the boundaries that will sustain it.
- A powerful jumping off point to set your boundaries into practice.
Taking the steps to process what you need and create the boundaries to protect that will set you up to be able to love yourself through your life.
