In today's hustle-happy world, productivity too often looks like constant action, which too often results in being busy versus productive. There’s a feeling that we “can’t stop, won’t stop,” and honestly, we don’t dare stop because if we do, we’ll miss out or not make the cut. Please don’t believe it. There is a better way to do it. This week, episode 172 of the Positively Living Podcast discusses why pausing will make you more productive!

Pausing for productivity means deliberately stepping away from your work, effort, or routine. The word suggests that this is temporary and likely for a short period, but the length of time can vary.  In this episode of the Positively Living Podcast, I’m sharing what it means to pause and giving you actionable steps to take right now to incorporate more pauses into your routine.

I cover:

  • Why we need to pause in all aspects of life.
  • Why pausing is like hitting the reset button for the mind.
  • The science behind the need for pausing.
  • Four benefits of pausing.
  • Examples of ways to pause, such as reflection and alignment review.
