Positively Living®: Shame-Free Productivity Conversations
The Positively Living® Podcast brings you shame-free productivity conversations for the overwhelmed multi-passionate creatives, caregivers, and multi-taskers who never clock out, juggle countless responsibilities, and quietly wonder if there's a better way.
Hosted by Lisa Zawrotny, Productivity Coach and founder of Positively Productive Systems, the show replaces rigid productivity rules with flexible approaches that respect your energy and priorities. Through my experiences, both as someone dealing with clutter and someone who’s helped hundreds of clients deal with it, I know that decluttering is one of the most beneficial habits we can incorporate into our lives. This week, in episode 196 of the Positively Living Podcast, I’m featuring 10 episodes that feature the topic of decluttering, in every part of our lives.
The episodes I cover today include:
- Ep #17: How Simplicity Sparks Joy with Tim Lucier where we discuss Marie Kondo’s approach to decluttering, highlighting its elements of simplicity and gratitude.
- Ep #18: Declutter through Delegation with Liz August where we discuss entrepreneurial clutter and remind ourselves that we don’t have to tackle it alone.
- Ep #22: Clutter Free Gift Giving with Katie Zurawski in which she gives actionable steps you can take to start planning gifts that wont add clutter to your life or your recipients’.
- Ep #27: Declutter Toys with Danielle Bettman where we cover decluttering children’s toys and show how mental and emotional decluttering play an important role.
- Ep #140: How to Declutter Your Mind in One Simple Step in which I share the process I take all of my clients through to understand the different types of mental clutter and the one step you can take to declutter your mind (which helps you declutter your life).
- Ep #145: 6 Reasons Why Decluttering is a Form of Self-care where I explain what clutter is and why I believe decluttering is an act of self-care by making space for what matters, including you.
- Ep #152: 3 Areas of Your Life You Need to Spring Clean where I explain how this practice—which dates back 1,000 years—is a wonderful way to reset the spaces in our lives.
- Ep #154: How Reverse Decluttering Can Quickly Reduce Stress where I highlight a simple technique you can use to take action towards your clutter when you’re too overwhelmed to declutter traditionally.
- Ep #164: Strategy Call: Decluttering and Habit Management for Multi-passionate Creatives where I coach Katie Henson on small ways she can adjust her day to reach her goals, approach clutter, and make space for what she loves.
- Ep #168: Boost Productivity and Well-being with a Toxic People Detox where I share how to recognize toxic influences/people in our lives and how to remove them, making space for people that encourage and support you.
It’s essential to take a whole-life approach to decluttering because it connects to all aspects of life. Focus on decluttering and see how freeing it is when you release what doesn’t serve you.
