Maim Kim had moved to Seoul, South Korea from the United States in 2012 to start a new chapter. Before then, he had felt confused with his life with no direction, network, money, and purpose. He had nothing but a genuine desire to become the best version of himself and to explore his roots, learn his mother tongue, learn how to be a functioning member of society, and discover what value he has to offer the world. Through his journey of self-discovery, he had become one of the top party promoters in Seoul and currently runs a media and entertainment company, MKMC, with his partner. He is passionate with sharing his experiences and adventures with other individuals through his podcast, Maim Time. The podcast is about Asian diaspora experience and self-actualization. Through each of his episodes, he goes deep and hard into dealing with identity struggles, emotional trauma with our families and past, reconciling different cultures, spirituality and religion after church, and developing confidence in dating and business to get the most out of life and give back to the world.
