WHAT IT MEANS TO BE COMFORTED BY GOD, AND OSCAR AND BOBBY SHARE SPECIAL PRAYER READINGS FOR FATHERLESS BOYS!!

SPEAKER_01

God is the father to the fatherless. God is the father to the fatherless. He will love God and protect you. God is the father to the father.

SPEAKER_00

This is Scott with Mentor Me Ministries, mentoring fatherless boys for Jesus Christ. We have a great show for you today, and here is our founder and president Bobby Solomon.

SPEAKER_04

Hi, this is Bobby Solomon. Hello, fatherless boys. Hi friends. This is from our e-card, our prayer wall for fatherless boys, prayer for fatherless boy, from sadness and disappointment to happy and content. Last week we read this prayer. We're going to read it again today. Blessed are those who are sad, they will be comforted. Matthew 5 4. Dear Abba Father, please help my fatherless boy or grandson to be happy and content because you are to be in his life and have peace for him always, and his newly found faith or faith to come in Jesus will fulfill all that he needs. Amen. I'd like to talk about being comforted. What are some of the things that God may do when he comforts us to be comforted is that God is with us. God strengthens us, God helps us, God gives encouragement and also help and support through other Christians. God gives us peace through our sufferings. God brings hope in Jesus Christ. We can always know that God is there for us and that He loves us. God will comfort us. I read this card for fatherless boys because so many fatherless boys are sad, they're depressed, they're unhappy, they're angry because their fathers are not in their lives, and because they don't have time spent with their fathers. Fatherless boys, I want to encourage you now, will you reach out to Father God through faith in Jesus Christ, his only Son, who gave his life for us on the cross, shed his precious blood for forgiveness of our sins, and he rose from the grave on the third day. Weeks later he went to heaven. If we will just believe in him, that someday we will be in heaven with him. Give our faith to him today, fatherless boys. He wants to give you uh comfort. He wants you to be comforted because he is with us and he cares for us. You know, the very bottom statement on this uh electric card says something very, very important. I want to say first that God gives us peace through Jesus. The Bible says that He is the Prince of Peace. God is a father of the fatherless, Psalm 68.5. He wants us to have peace. There's a little statement on the bottom of this e-card. It says, God does not give us disappointment, but he gives life abundant. Please read John 10 10. Our God does not give us disappointment. That only comes from the thief. Read John 10 10. Read what it says there. Because Jesus gives life in abundance. The Bible says, The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life, and they might have it more abundantly. I will read a prayer from Vicente. He used to be one of the fatherless boys in our ministry who went to camp with us, went almost everywhere with us. And now Vicente is a man of God in Christ. He wrote this prayer, let me read it to you. Dear God, we lift up the fatherless ministry to you. Please bless the leaders, volunteers, and mentors with endless patience, wisdom, and energy. Provide them with every resource they need to reach hurting families. Use their hands and words to build a safe, reliable haven for these children and the fatherless boys that we mentor. We pray deeply for the fatherless boys who are carrying heavy loads of sadness and disappointment. Comfort them when they feel abandoned, forgotten, or less than others. Heal the quiet wounds in their hearts left by broken promises or empty spaces. Remind them daily that their worth is not defined by who walked away. Replace their grief with a profound sense of peace. Surround them with trustworthy people who will show them unconditional love and support. Let them know that they have a perfect Father in heaven, who never leaves, never fails, and holds their future securely in his hands. In Christ's name, amen. Our puppet friend Oscar, who's my co-host on this radio show, he's with me in the studio right now, and he would like to say a few things. Oscar, how are you doing?

SPEAKER_03

Oh Bobby I'm doing really well, and I hope everybody's doing good, especially if you believe in Jesus for fatherless boys. He will help you in your lives.

SPEAKER_04

Oscar, what did you think about Vicente's prayer?

SPEAKER_03

Well, Bobby is so hard. It's just a heartfelt prayer. It touched my heart so much. Just tell Vicente when you see him, thank you for me.

SPEAKER_04

I will, Oscar, and maybe you'll get to tell him yourself someday. I don't think you've met him. Bobby, no, I haven't.

SPEAKER_03

I'd like to meet him. There's so many of the boys that have become men now that have been in the ministry. I want to meet them all.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, and Oscar, you're one of those men too. You were one of those fatherless boys too, weren't you?

SPEAKER_03

Yep, Bobby, yep, yep. I I was one of them. I was.

SPEAKER_04

Oscar, would you like an opportunity to pray?

SPEAKER_03

Uh well, uh yep, yep, I I would, but I'm I'm feeling a little shy about it. Uh what do you want me to pray about, Bobby?

SPEAKER_04

Why don't you pray for some of the fatherless Indian boys from our Bible that was sent to us from India? Would you like to do that? Yep, Bobby, I I would like to do that. Uh, where is that Bible right now? It's right here, Oscar. It's it's in my hands. Let me open it for you. I think that we're at a place in the Bible where on the page that starts the New Testament, there are some names of these fatherless boys as they sign their names. And as you know, Oscar, we've been reading from this Bible the names of the fatherless boys that sign their names in the margins and the footer and the header. And now starting the New Testament, there are some more fatherless boys. Here's the Bible, Oscar. Would you want to take the first three fatherless boys? There's about twenty names on this page, and then next time we can pray for the other ones.

SPEAKER_03

Uh Bobby, uh I don't think I could figure out how to say the names. Uh they're they're different names.

SPEAKER_04

Uh is that Melash or Yeah, I think it's Milash. Uh age twelve? Yes. And uh you want to read some more?

SPEAKER_03

Uh Karthik? Name is M. Karthic, age fourteen.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Bobby, why don't you say some of the names? I I'm having trouble with them.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. The next boy here, Anji, age fifteen. Yashwanth Nyak 16. Somla Nyak 10. This one is gonna be difficult for me. Jogish Washrod Nyak 12. Oscar, would you like to pray for those boys?

SPEAKER_03

Yep, Bobby, and then where will we pray for the other ones?

SPEAKER_04

Well, we can pray for some more next week. How's that?

SPEAKER_03

Uh okay. Um, okay, I'm gonna try. I just wanna say, God, our Holy Father, our Holy Father, we love you so much, and we love Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Oh, thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for us and rising from the grave. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for helping me in my life all the time.

SPEAKER_04

And Oscar, we know that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one God, right?

SPEAKER_03

Yep, yep, one God. And we pray to that one God right now in the name of the Son, Jesus, for those fatherless boys. Uh Bobby, Bobby, what shall we pray for them about? I don't know what to say. Oscar, you're doing great. Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Okay. Dear Father, I just want to say for these fatherless boys. Let them learn to love Jesus and take care of them in their lives. Let them grow up in Jesus our Savior. And they'll know how much that you love them, God. They can be peaceful and have comfort in their sadness. Thank you, my father. Amen. In the name of my Savior Jesus, amen. Amen.

SPEAKER_04

That is a wonderful prayer. Thank you, oh God, for giving Oscar that wonderful prayer. I am so happy with it. I just want to play my harmonica now. Bobby, go ahead.

SPEAKER_03

Give us a tune.

SPEAKER_04

Oscar, is there anything else you would like to say to the fatherless boys listening?

SPEAKER_03

I just want to say to them, you just gotta know that God has a special place for you. In his heart, he'll always protect you. Stay with him. Don't go away from him. The fatherless boys know that he's a good and holy father. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay close to him and love God with all your heart. That's all I want to say, Bobby.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, Oscar. I'm glad that you said that. Psalm twenty one, one and two. Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee. Let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Fatherless boys, we can trust in God, and He will cover us. We can trust in Him. We can lift up our soul, we can cry out to Him, Abba Father, and He will help us, He will defend us against our enemies. I want to thank all of you for listening today. If you'd like a copy of the E card we read from, it's our prayer wall card with the little fatherless boy kneeling down and praying in front of it. It's free. We will text it to you or email it to you. Bobby Bobby Bub Bobby. Yes, Oscar. Bobby, may I give out the the uh the uh uh eight hundred number? Sure.
