Watauga County is home to some of North Carolina's most impactful non-profit businesses. Support for these businesses is part of the DNA of residents of this area. While many of these businesses are deeply involved in the local COVID-19 response, they are also finding their funds depleting quickly, due to a rise in services provided, canceled fundraisers, shrinking allocations, rising expenses, and other considerations that come with today's challenges.
Sara Crouch is the Outreach Coordinator for OASIS, and explains how her organization is meeting the needs of our community while walking the delicate balance for fundraising in such difficult economic conditions.
