Cindy McKeown graduated Cornell and seemed headed for law school, thanks to a scholarship at a top school, but she took a significant turn and became a political activist and, ultimately, a filmmaker. Her latest film, Unacceptable Risk, tells the story of a prominent cancer researcher who began rethinking her assumptions about the causes of cancer and the true burden of environmentally induced cancers.
