Shannon has been a writer and studied literature and criminal justice. A chance meeting lead to her becoming Eric Ruben's literary intern. Her performance in that role lead to her becoming his junior agent. When he had to fold his agency for personal reasons, Shannon started her own agency and many of Eric's clients followed her.
