Well, one way to tap into abundance is to tap into the nervous system.

You didn't know that.

Actually, I did know that you did. In fact, that's what we're going to talk about today.

Speaker 2:

Oh, like what? Let me tell you, you got a whole show about it.

So here's what I need to tell you about the nervous system when it's aligned. When your nervous system is aligned, it is your manifestation superpower.

Speaker 2:

It is, it totally is.

Speaker 1:

Superpower. Your nervous system is your body's Wi-Fi Ooh, and if it's glitchy, everything from your money to your relationships, to your health, will feel glitchy too.

Speaker 2:

Oh, most certainly. And I'll go so far as to say that alignment isn't just mindset right, it's your nervous system saying I feel safe enough to receive, create and love fully. So your nervous system is telling you all of this.

Speaker 1:

Say that again.

Speaker 2:

When your nervous system is in alignment, it's not just about your mindset, it's about your nervous system saying I feel safe enough to receive, create and love fully.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I love that.

Speaker 2:

And if you haven't loved fully, you're about to, you're tuned in, you are in the right spot.

Speaker 1:

It might mean that you haven't been safe enough. That is correct, that is correct Like to experience self-love but also to fall deeply in love with someone is that there's a safety component. So we have been talking so much about different things that kind of dance around, or we've mentioned the nervous system. We're going to dive a little deeper today, but like, for example, we talked about breathwork medicine, which is great for your nervous system, we talked about money medicine last week.

Speaker 2:

That's really about abundance and safety, right, right.

Speaker 1:

And then from reaction to response. That's the regulation in your relationship, so how you can stay regulated in a healthy nervous system so that you aren't having dysregulated reactions and responses Correct. We also talked about shadow integration and that's the safety to face suppressed parts.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and often your shadows reside in your nervous system.

Speaker 1:

Yes, for sure. So let's dive into what nervous system alignment is, because I know this is like a new way to talk about the nervous system. A lot of times people will think like oh, I just need to calm down, or they don't think about it in terms of alignment. So I'm going to define it for you. Nervous system alignment means your body feels safe enough to stay present, connected and creative, rather than stuck in survival states.

Speaker 2:

I love that and you know I feel in my past there have been times where I want to be in alignment and I try to get in alignment but there's so much fear going on in my nervous system that it literally knocks me off. It takes over, it's overwhelming.

Speaker 1:

The vagus nerve controls 80% of your parasympathetic, that's your rest and digest response. So that's a major part of what we're going to be talking about today is obviously, if it controls 80%.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a huge part on your body that's actually easy to address and reset. Yeah, there's a lot of things you can do for yourself, but there's also practitioners who can really do a wonderful job.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So trauma and chronic stress keep us in sympathetic states, which are your fight or flight, yeah, or dorsal vagal states, which is your freeze and shutdown. A regulated nervous system improves HRV, which is your heart rate variability linked to longevity and emotional resilience. So those are just some like defining, like what we're talking about is getting your body into alignment so that you can be a match to exactly what you're looking for. So, for example, you can be really dysregulated in your nervous system, where you are maybe angry and, like you know, panicky, because sometimes you're both, and then be a match to having a relaxed day, right, because you're you're angry and panicky. So your body then, like I said, your nervous system, is the Wi-Fi, your body becomes like an antenna.

Speaker 2:

Yes, when you say Wi-Fi, I always picture an unseen transference of information. So you are transferring information out to the world. The world is transferring information back to you. So, like you said, if your system is dysregulated, it's like turning on a radio and not even being able to tune into a station because the dial's broken.

Speaker 1:

Your nervous system is the lens through which you experience reality. That's a quote from Deb Dana, and I feel like that's pretty much why we have discussions with clients about reality selection, which we're going to do a show about. But why we are suffering more than we need to is often because our lens and our narrative. They're just making us feel like the reality that we are experiencing is the only reality, or the past reality is the only reality, when we have a lot more control over that than we think, but we aren't consciously choosing a different reality.

Speaker 2:

Correct and we have that power. I mean in an instant. For instance, you can be having a bad day and then someone will hand you a $100 bill and all of a sudden, your day gets infinitely brighter. Right, Right, so it's perception, so you can perceive a brighter day, and a brighter day will happen.

Speaker 1:

Yep, brighter day, and a brighter day will happen. Yep, you can't manifest your dreams while your body like if your dreams are to like, you know, have a healthy, you know experience. You can't manifest your dreams while your body thinks it's being chased by a bear.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because it's so like bumps in a flight, or flight or or freeze, and yep, exactly, and so then you know pretty much everything that that most humans want are like freedom, peace, joy, you know fulfillment, health. You know like if you just look at those, you don't feel any of those things when you're being chased by a bear no right. So so they aren't a match. It's just very comes down to like simple, simple language of alignment is just about are you a match?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's a switch in your body where it is either survival mode, survive mode or thrive mode, right? So thrive mode is where your body has the opportunity to regulate itself. But let's talk about this whole dysregulation process, right. Let's talk about how it shows up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and this will kind of be a recap from some of our previous episodes. If you haven't listened to them, this won't be a recap, but we wanted to include it so that you know what it looks like, so that you can identify it in your own life, you can assess and then you can adjust just little tiny shifts.

Speaker 2:

So we glazed over how the nervous system has a role in the manifestation process. What I want to do is focus a little bit on how the dysregulated nervous system shows up in relationships. So in relationships, if you find yourself or your partner overreacting or shutting down during conflict, that is a sign of a dysregulated nervous system, and again this is kind of the recap.

Speaker 2:

If you're people pleasing to avoid tension, that's horrible on boundaries. Again, that's going to have a negative impact on your overall relationship. Of course, there's fear of intimacy or fear of abandonment. Those are going to stem, of course, from old wounds which are going to keep your nervous system out of regulation. In money, you'll have feast or famine cycles, right, so we all know what that is. You make a lot of money and then the next six months, you're broke, right, because you don't have the ability to be consistent. You have fear of investing in yourself. Right Again, though, you have all these old wounds. You don't want to feed old wounds, right, so you want to kind of ignore them. Unfortunately, those wounds are the sources of your power. Yep, you're not going to charge your full rate for your clients. You won't ask for a raise. You're not going to raise your hand when you know it's time for you to get your share because you think that lack of limitation is all there is right Again, we're talking about old wounds In health.

Speaker 2:

A dysregulated nervous system is going to show up with chronic fatigue, gut issues, anxiety, difficulty sticking to habits or commitments right. So it's imperative that your nervous system gets the loving care that it needs, because it will reverberate all kinds of nastiness, right and dysregulation. Is the body saying I don't feel safe to expand?

Speaker 1:

So listen to it Right.

Speaker 2:

Right, listen to it. If you're getting that warning sign, attend to it.

Speaker 1:

All of these are like your check engine lights for your nervous system, which we use that a lot in our podcast episodes. Just so you can be like, why am I acting this way? It's just letting you know. You need a little micro-adjustment in that area.

Speaker 2:

And please, please, please, do not get and I know I'm speaking to a lot of people out there don't get used to seeing that check engine light.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes you hop in the car, we see that check engine light. I'll just take care of it later. And then later becomes you're stuck in the road on a major thunderstorm. You're like God, why did I take care of that sooner? Right With your health, it won't be stuck on the side of the road, It'll be in a hospital bed, Right.

Speaker 1:

It'll be something that's catastrophic rather than something that you can make. These, you know, like I said, micro adjustments. You know every day Consistency. A lot of times people think it's got to be perfect every single day and that's not consistency. Consistency is little micro actions touching it every day. We're going to have an episode about consistency, but I think it's very misunderstood as far as what we're talking about, and I think some of these things are tiny. It depends how much trauma and how much things that you went through. Maybe you'll need a coach or a therapist, or you'll need somatic therapy, or you'll need something to help you externally get through.

Speaker 1:

Some of this can be healed very easily by grounding and being in nature, so we'll talk more about that Making sure your water intake.

Speaker 2:

All that good stuff.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So let's talk about the science of alignment. Ooh, I like that. So Stephen Porges has the polyvagal theory, and it is that safety leads to social engagement, creativity and expansion. So safety is really important, and I think that it's. I just want to like segue just for a second that's important, to like realize that we're not just talking about women feeling safe, but we're talking about men feeling safe, because all of us start out as kids.

Speaker 2:

We're all babies, we're all babies.

Speaker 1:

We're all babies and we all have an inner child, but there is a foundational thing that happens for both men and women or any gender when you are born and you are born into a situation that is unsafe, it is going to have a ripple effect, and so, tending to making sure that you feel safe we're talking about at a core level.

Speaker 1:

We're not talking about, like the saber-toothed tiger that people use a lot of times, or the bear, like we used in reference earlier. We're talking about nervous system safety and that is where I feel like the science of alignment, like that safety is leading to how you interact in a social environment, how you interact when you get to be creative in your career. It's going to, it's going to have a ripple effect throughout your entire life.

Speaker 2:

And and. And I will say, if, if you were lucky enough to born, to be born into a family where you know there wasn't violence, there was always safety, there's always either one or two parents or grandparents, you know that whole bit fantastic, that's amazing. However, if you were born into a situation that is not as nice, right, split family, whatnot? Just know that it doesn't matter what happened in the past. You have the ability, and that's where maturity comes in. You have the ability and that's where maturity comes in. You have the ability to take full ownership of everything and then use it for your advantage. So, for the people who come from negative backgrounds, you actually have more power because there's more fuel in the tank.

Speaker 1:

Right. And you also know that you can fucking survive anything. That is correct. That is correct. You know your resilience muscles have been developed, well developed.

Speaker 2:

All you need to do is, you know, align your nervous system.

Speaker 1:

Right, so some more science from Joe Dispenza. Dr Joe, regulating your internal state creates coherence, influencing your electromagnetic field and what you attract.

Speaker 2:

Coherence is huge.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and so let's just talk about coherence just for a second.

Speaker 2:

So coherence for me is when your body, all the internal frequencies in your body. You know each organ has a frequency. You know the entire body has a frequency. Coherence is when your frequencies are in resonance right and when it's in resonance right you have the ability to project your wants and desires out to the world with clarity and power. When it's dysregulated, what you're doing is you're sending out, or you're scared or whatnot. You're sending out fractured versions of what you want and what you're getting back is fractured versions, which means it's not the whole picture. It's a job that's not that great. It's a relationship that's not that great. It's a health that's not that great.

Speaker 2:

that's not that great.

Speaker 1:

It's a health that's not that great. Again, a good way to simplify it. That helped me. When I was little, I learned that the power of not calling out your fears, yeah, knowing that your fears, if you call them out, they are signals, it's like smoke signals, you know, like you're letting the universe know, like what you're terrified of. Yeah, and so, even as a little kid if, like you know, a crazy thought came into my head because I had learned so much from, like, going to the different places with my mom, with, like you know, the yoga and stuff, you, I learned like do not call out your fears. And it's part of like a famous quote that I was like very obsessed with. But anyway, I would say to myself nope, don't call out your fears. You know and have that. So I just know like I catch my mind from running in the direction of fear.

Speaker 2:

Honey, two days after we met you, you landed that quote on me. I think I said something about college, because I just got accepted in college and I said something and I remember you saying don't call it your fears. I'm like, ah, this is a little spiritual chick, okay, going back to calling it fears. I always come up with the same story that I've heard you have two wolves living in your room, a good wolf and a bad wolf. Which wolf survives? The one you feed?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and so usually I'll be like, if I get really terrified about something, I'll be like, okay, don't call it your fears. And I'm like expect a miracle. Especially if it's something that I'm like, okay, that actually could happen, Then I'm like, okay, expect a miracle. Miracles are everywhere. Expect a miracle.

Speaker 2:

You owe $20,000. No problem, I'm expecting a miracle. Right, and you're expecting a miracle and all of a sudden you invoice for $120,000. Like, oh great, it's all working.

Speaker 1:

Nervous system regulation will improve your ability to respond rather than react. That's why we're talking about it today and the episode that we did. If you haven't listened, if you're new to us and you just came because you're interested in the nervous system, go back and listen to From Reaction to Response. That's going to really help you put this into application and embody the practice that we're talking about today, which is nervous system regulation.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and the embodiment, the application is more important than the knowledge. Right, a book on the shelf is nothing Right. You take the information of the book and apply it, it's everything.

Speaker 1:

Yeah yeah. Having just rearranged a bookshelf, I was like, damn, I don't think I ever read this one. It looks nice on my shelf. Then I'm like, should I get rid of this? And I'm like, no, I actually do want to learn this. I just haven't done it yet. The day will come, the application didn't happen, so all of us are guilty of that. Here's a factoid. Studies show breathwork, cold exposure and somatic practices increase HRV, heart rate variability, reduce cortisol and improve emotional resilience.

Speaker 2:

So I would get into those practices almost immediately.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and we've been talking a lot about all of those. We're going to have an episode about somatic and cold exposure coming up, but breath work. We did that episode and go back to that. If you haven't started doing breath work, it's like it's free medicine, honey.

Speaker 2:

It is free medicine.

Speaker 1:

Get it.

Speaker 2:

And let me tell you it is just as addictive as any drug that's out there, and the side effects are mental expansion, lucid dreaming, like full control of your nervous system. Like you get all these upgrades and you don't stink value this nervous.

Speaker 1:

they undervalue the nervous system and doing these techniques because they don't connect it to money or they don't connect it to success. And I just want to tell you that nervous system alignment it's your unfair advantage in business, love and health. So if you are out of alignment with money, you're out of alignment with love, you're out of alignment with health, and maybe you're like oh, I'm in a relationship, I'm kind of healthy and I've got a job, but you don't love yourself. That's also nervous system misalignment, correct. So take the time to get into alignment and your life will just get better on every level.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I mean, and you're talking about every level, which means it opens you up to the whole world of manifestation.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Right, and what I would like to do is I want to get into how your nervous system is, your manifestation superpower 10 ways. I got 10 ways right here in my pocket.

Speaker 1:

Let's do it, you ready? Okay, you take number one.

Speaker 2:

Number one safety equals receivership.

Speaker 1:

Receivership. I like that.

Speaker 2:

Receivership right. Your nervous system needs to feel safe to receive abundance opportunities and love right. If your body perceives expansion as a threat, it will unconsciously block, sabotage or delay your manifestations every single time.

Speaker 1:

And I will just say that I feel like in the last maybe eight years, I have learned powerfully that, in order to receive, you must rest. That is correct. In order to be feminine, I need to rest without guilt so that I can receive everything that I want, and the resting is a way for my body to become a vessel of endless abundance. Yeah, and that's the opposite of the culture that I feel like we've all been conditioned by.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, we're having a whole show on the nervous system, and the reason why is because the state of the world is really designed to wreak havoc on your nervous system.

Speaker 1:

Right, Okay. So number two is regulation. So regulation equals magnetic energy. So regulation equals magnetic energy. A regulated nervous system emits a calm, clear frequency that aligns with receiving. Dysregulation often projects fear, scarcity and chaos, which repels what you desire.

Speaker 2:

Number three coherence equals clear signal to the field. Oh, I love that. When you breathe, your heart and brain are in coherence. Your electromagnetic field becomes stronger, amplifying your intentions in the quantum field. And, of course, when we talk about the quantum field, what we're talking about is the ether. We're talking about the universe.

Speaker 1:

Quantum science baby.

Speaker 2:

We're talking about everything where we're talking about the universe, quantum science, baby Right, we're talking about everything where everything comes from yes.

Speaker 1:

Yes. Number four is embodiment over affirmation. So the nervous system allows you to feel the state of your desires. Now Manifestation requires feeling the wish fulfilled, not just thinking about it.

Speaker 2:

That's when you write down the things that you want. You always write it down as if you already have it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then you take aligned action, so it's not just thinking about it.

Speaker 2:

That is correct. Number five capacity to hold more Regulation increases your window of tolerance, allowing you to handle bigger opportunities, money and relationships without sabotaging them. I looked at it as like going into a house that has a low wiring system, re-amping the wiring system so that it can have more energy into the house. Right, right. So higher bandwidth, brighter lights, more appliances.

Speaker 1:

You got that fiber Wi-Fi or you got that. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1:

You got that satellite Wi-Fi, the satellite Wi-Fi.

Speaker 2:

We're talking about dial-up, right? So if your nervous system is on dial-up and you want fiber optic shit you're going to upgrade, you have to upgrade your nervous system to fiber optic to receive the fiber optic stuff.

Speaker 1:

You know what you just did? Right, I've got to go find that dial-up sound.

Speaker 2:

Now to add to this? Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1:

Okay. So number six is consistent. Action requires regulation. So it's great if you're looking to take action and be in embodiment. Manifestation needs consistent, aligned action. A regulated system allows you to show up consistently. So if you're really struggling with consistency, it's your nervous system and you can show up consistently even when discomfort arises, instead of collapsing or quitting when your nervous system is regulated.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and we mentioned earlier in the show about the whole feast and famine cycle. That feast and famine cycle will just naturally go towards the feast side regularly. Yep, right, so that's what we want. Okay, number seven your vagus nerve connects mind and body. Okay, number seven, your vagus nerve connects mind and body. The vagus nerve helps move your body out of flight and fight and into rest and receive, creating the state in which your desires can land. It's you opening the doors and say, hey, come on in.

Speaker 1:

Yes. So rest and play, expand, receiving. So this is number eight, and if you've worked with me or if you've listened before, you know I am a big proponent of play and fun and using as much joy as possible. That's why you married me Totally. That's totally why I married you. Well, you do make me laugh. Even the dad jokes, for some reason, I think, are funny, you love all my jokes.

Speaker 1:

I think I just love you, mm-hmm, yeah. So anyway, let's get back to playing. Rest and joy, signal to your body that it is safe, raising your vibration and keeping you open to intuitive nudges that lead to aligned opportunities.

Speaker 2:

Before we move on to number nine, give me an idea of how intuitive nudges work, because there's people who some of our clients they still don't fully understand.

Speaker 1:

Yeah they're mixing up fear Like fear hits like oh gosh, I got to check on blah, blah, blah because I just thought a negative thought about them. And then they're thinking that's intuition, or they're seeing a sign from the universe. They're calling seeing a sign, you know, from the universe. They're calling it a sign, but actually it's like you know could be.

Speaker 1:

There's no such thing as coincidences, but there are synchronicities that are that are trying to get your attention, and so the intuitive nudges come, like people often call them like gut feelings, but they come different for everyone. For me they come as visuals, visions. For me they come as a stream of consciousness. I call them downloads sometimes, where it's like I can hear everything to say or I just start talking and then it just comes out and I'm like what the fuck was that? So it's kind of a channel, but it's not one one specific person Like I'm not channeling like an alien or something, like people, people, um, you know I'm not channeling like Abraham Hicks, for example. You know, like I, um, am getting a nudge that is um, and I think most people who have an intuitive ability can talk about it until they're blue in the face. But there is a certain component of it that is inexplainable, but it's like a knowing, and I think that when you meditate you have sometimes experiences I often find the quieter your mind is, the louder source can get, and so you know if you are getting a massage.

Speaker 1:

Everybody meditates in different ways. Some people meditate with journaling, Some people meditate in the traditional sense. Some people meditate by farming or gardening. Some people meditate by going for a walk in the woods, you know, swimming in a lake, Whatever your version of meditation, where your mind gets quiet and source is allowed to drop in. That's what I would call an intuitive nudge, where you just know something.

Speaker 2:

You know it, like you know it, like you know it. The reason why I wanted to bring it up, of course, is that it is such a powerful tool that everyone has, but not everyone has experienced it because of their nervous system. Right, right, it turns on when your nervous system is calm and feels safe. It turns off when it doesn't feel safe.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

So let's talk about number nine. Triggers show where you're blocking manifestations. Right so. Your triggers reveal unprocessed fears and scarcity patterns right so using regulation tools helps you clear those blocks, aligning your energy with your desires.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Right. So again, you can call it. You know clearing out the pipes. You can call it, you know getting in can call it getting in higher-grade wiring into your system. Whatever it is, you want your nervous system to run clean and powerfully.

Speaker 1:

Right and it's also like an opportunity to flip it. So we talked about how you can turn triggers into turn-ons in our show last month and it's really everything that you feel like you can look at yourself and you'll be like, oh, that's a flaw. Or oh, like I'm totally triggered by this. Or oh, like you know, this person said this about me once and now I'm carrying it. These are all things that you get to work with, yes, so use them rather than allow them to use you. These are just tools in your toolbox. You can integrate shadow parts of yourself. You can have these triggers be something that actually work for you, that actually make people excited to be around you.

Speaker 2:

You're the author of your book. Exactly, and every time you turn the page, you have a new opportunity to print something new. Right, exactly. And every time you turn the page, you have a new opportunity to print something new.

Speaker 1:

Right, and I just want to say real quickly that most of the time why we do certain shows is because either we see patterns in our clients that we work with or in society, or that we are personally working to upgrade, because the best way to expand yourself is to teach. Yeah know, expand yourself is to teach.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, best way to learn is to teach.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So, while we are talking about all of this, the empowerment couple is meant to, you know, show is meant to empower you and to be like okay, yeah, so fucking what? I have that issue, I'm going to work on it, you know, and I'm going to transmute it into something beautiful. It's an invitation. So everything we talk about is an invitation for you to look deeper at yourself, get into the, you know, deep end of the pool, and I'm telling you it's a lot of fun.

Speaker 2:

It is a lot of fun. And lastly, number 10, gratitude.

Speaker 1:

Gratitude feels safe to the body. So anytime you get really freaked out, what I want you to do is to think the opposite thought. So if you're flying, for example, and you're scared of flying, I want you to envision yourself landing safely and stepping foot that first step that you take off the plane, you know. So you can spend time manifesting what you want with the op the opposing thing. So anything that you're afraid of you're afraid that you know you're not going to have enough money to pay for the recent. You know stuff that's happening, maybe in your house. Pay for the recent? You know stuff that's happening, maybe in your house. You can think of the opposite. You can see the check you know being signed, or you can see the invoice. You know clearing your credit card or you know, like whatever you're afraid of. So practicing this gratitude and I would say the gratitude part of it is so important.

Speaker 1:

So like being so grateful that you landed you know, being so grateful that you you know the check cleared, or being so grateful that your credit card accepted the $25,000 or whatever right Like being grateful and feeling that energy. Practicing gratitude while regulated deepens the felt sense of abundance and it anchors the frequency of already having and it accelerates your manifestation process.

Speaker 2:

Correct and we've had several shows on gratitude.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

And just to make things real simple, right, you always have something to be grateful for.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

Right, and if you are looking around and you were poor and you're living on the street, you just got beat up, you got mugged, whatever. You can be grateful that you are still alive. Right, you can be grateful that you can create something new with the current time that you have. Right. Right, you can be grateful for your clothes. You can be grateful for, you know, the shoes on your feet, whatever drink that you're drinking, anything that you have be grateful for, and it just kind of kickstarts the body right. Small steps beget bigger steps. So let's get into part four and talk about tools for nervous system alignment.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're just going to cover a few practices.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so the very first one I have up top, of course, is going to be breath work. So, box breathing, the 4-7-8 method, coherent breathing. We have a whole breath work medicine episode. I would tune into that. But top of the game, most certainly breath work because it is the easiest and most powerful thing you can do for your nervous system.

Speaker 1:

Right Cold exposure or contrast showers. So at the last few minutes of your warm, delicious shower you can turn it to cold.

Speaker 2:

Turn it to cold and it sucks when it's happening, but once it's done, you're like oh wow, I feel invigorated, I'm feeling good, but once it's done, you're like oh wow, I feel invigorated. I'm feeling good, you're going to go fly over this mountain. Number three is somatic movement Shaking yoga. We're huge on dancing, so you want to move the feelings through your body.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, movement is medicine. You can go back and listen to that episode, but really, if you have strong emotions, you need to put them in motion.

Speaker 2:

Yes, exactly.

Speaker 1:

So another one would be boundaries to reduce overwhelm. So sometimes we're just saying yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, because we're afraid, afraid, afraid, afraid, afraid of losing, losing, losing like that pattern. So go back and listen to our boundary medicine episode, that will help you just really assess, like, am I saying yes when it's really a no, and am I then saying no and then feeling bad? Or am I saying no and then, like giving you know three paragraphs of why I'm saying no? No is just no.

Speaker 2:

As you go through the process of healing your nervous system, boundaries will come up every single time. Yes, every single time. Boundaries are going to be for you and your loved ones. So they're good things. Right, boundaries are good things.

Speaker 1:

And you might look back on your life and be like, oh man, if only I had boundaries, maybe I would have done this and that. No, you don't have to waste time on that. That reality is over Right now. You have the present moment, power.

Speaker 2:

That's where gratitude oh, I'm so grateful that I can make a boundary.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and I'm so grateful that I have the awareness now to not continue that cycle.

Speaker 2:

Number five one of my favorite is the inner child and shadow work. Right, we have a whole show about shadow integration episode. You know we are all brought into this world. Uh, you know empty vessels and and and. Then, as we are, as we go through the maturation process, we are littered with um, poor programming, bad patterns and uh wounds. So that inner work, the, the inner child work and the shadow work will allow you to grow through those and then use that for your advantage for nervous system alignment yeah through the whole transmutation process.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, uh co-regulation with safe partners, so we haven't talked too much about this but, yeah, this is number six. Just eye gazing could be helpful. I'm looking right at you, Eye gazing.

Speaker 2:

Eye gazing is uncomfortable until you do it long enough. You're like, oh, it's uncomfortable because I have fears.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Right Synced breathing is really powerful for co-regulation. Obviously, you want to do these with safe partners. You don't want to, just be, like you know, on a one-night stand, and eye-gazing, that's.

Speaker 2:

you know that's we're talking about. Like eye-gazing synced breathing Hugging is massive. Yes, hugging and taking some breaths together yeah, we, we call it, we call it the. Uh, the one minute hug, right, so just hug for a minute and that's it. You're just just hugging. It's, it's a, it's a beautiful easy process alignment isn't something you think your way into.

Speaker 1:

It's something you breathe, move and practice your way into you practice your way into it.

Speaker 2:

I love that, because practice is a positive movement let's end this show with a game, a quickie a quick game. You want a quickie? I can do a quickie as long as, as long as it's enjoyable quickies are always enjoyable.

Speaker 1:

Come on um align. Um align or survive is the name of the game Align or survive. So, are you going to be in a lined state or are you in a survival state? And here's the scenarios. I'm going to give you four because we're short on time Saying yes when you want to say no. Is that aligned or survival?

Speaker 2:

That's survival.

Speaker 1:

Mm, hmm, saying yes when you want to say no, is that aligned or survival? That's survival. Taking a deep breath before replying to a heated message.

Speaker 2:

That is most certainly aligned.

Speaker 1:

Yes, you're doing good, All right. How about spending money impulsively when stressed?

Speaker 2:

I would like to say aligned, but it's a survival mode.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because it creates a feast and famine.

Speaker 2:

I like to go spend some money right now, but I should probably not do.

Speaker 1:

Choosing a walk over doom scrolling.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that's 100% aligned. Okay, doom scrolling is like fast forward to survival mode, yeah, so those are kind of easy.

Speaker 1:

Or you can have a budget Instead of impulsively being like I'm not going to spend money impulsively, but I'm going to hit up this garage sale you can check in with your money and be like do I have money to go spend on things that I maybe want, maybe things I need, but if you don't check in on your money BFF, what happens? Your money BFF is going to throw a tantrum.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Exactly, and then, of course, choosing a walkover. Doom scrolling, that's aligned, but if you are finding yourself doom scrolling a lot, that's wreaking havoc on your nervous system yeah, yeah, yeah it's bad news.

Speaker 2:

And again, like we said, the, the, the state of the world is designed to knock you off your center.

Speaker 1:

Um so they can sell you a bunch of shit, so that you feel like you're regulated exactly, and so that you're over. You're basically kind of suppressing or overstimulating, like you're just constantly playing this imbalance game with whatever you're putting in your mouth or in your body.

Speaker 2:

So that you become impulsive.

Speaker 1:

And so that, yeah, you become in debt. Yeah, exactly, alignment is choosing presence over patterns.

Speaker 2:

Presence over patterns and remember patterns are something that you can choose and, with that being said, just know that your nervous system alignment is the foundation of your empowered life.

Speaker 1:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

So let your body feel safe enough to become who you really are Right, let your body.

Speaker 1:

Now is the time, just do it. What did you say? Feel safe enough to become who you really are.

Speaker 2:

Yes, let your body feel safe enough to become who you really are. Mmm, mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

Yum, yum, yum. That's delicious. Yes, sending you the highest vibrations.

Speaker 2:

You are held.

Speaker 1:

You are loved.

Speaker 2:

Dial-up right. You just have a telephone you got an old yellow phone book. You got an old yellow phone book, and some of our nervous systems are so damaged that we're on Morse code.

Speaker 1:

We're on Morse code.

Speaker 2:

You're out there asking the universe what you want.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean? Great, I'm about to find that sound too Okay.

Speaker 2:

So you know, do an assessment, Do an assessment homie. Are you on, you know, fiber optic nervous system, or is your nervous system you know? Are you holding a, Are you?

Speaker 1:

scratching on a cave.

Speaker 2:

Are you holding two cups with strings in the middle? Hello, can you hear me?

Speaker 1:

The can trick. Yeah, that's dope. I like that.

Speaker 2:

And also because you know this is a relationship show we become. You know, married couples are powerful when they are both in alignment and they're both manifesting at the same time.

Speaker 1:

When their nervous systems are regulated.

Speaker 2:

So if you're the one who has the bomb nervous system and your co-pilot is dealing with Morse code, yeah, they got some dysregulated Morse code happening. Yeah, exactly Now would be a good time to get them into a performance coach an expansion coach Right. Someone who can connect with their inner child, their womb do all that beautiful work.

Speaker 1:

Clear it out, clear it out, clear out the signal, so that then you can have the fastest Wi-Fi.

Speaker 2:

That is correct. That is correct, yeah, and then whatever Wi-Fi is coming after that, then you can have the you know the fastest wi-fi. That is correct. That is correct. And then whatever wi-fi is coming after that you'll have access to right, because you know, apparently we're going to be going walking around with wi-fi, connect antennas in our brains or something you know. But, honestly, the true power, the true power when your nervous system is like alignment. You have your manifestation game. You took care of all your inner work and all that stuff. You don't need wi-fi. You could literally just tell the universe what you want and it just kind of comes to you and it tracks to you yeah, so wi-fi is just the metaphor yeah, it's just the metaphors.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's another tool, but like but some of the things that you've manifested has absolutely nothing to do with you going online or doing that. It's literally just you saying you want something and all of a sudden it just pops up. I've seen you do it over and over and over again. It's like well, yeah, that's because you have that Empress wiring the direct line you got that optimal grade wiring, the direct line. You got that optimal grade wiring.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes. Thank you for saying that, because sometimes I'm like, do I have it? Oh, yeah, yeah, I do, oh, yeah, yeah. I'm hoping you write your narrative you got to remember who the fuck you is.

Speaker 2:

I'm hoping you write your narrative and I always write at the high end. It's like oh yeah, she's a superhero, she does this. I'd do the same for you.

Speaker 1:

I'm like, yeah, boy, we'd be doing that for each other.

Speaker 2:
