Let's jump into today's episode Well, hello, beautiful jet setters. How have you been? I know I've taken some time off in the month of December and it was a much needed break. I have quite a few things going on right now with my full-time job, so I needed to take a break from the podcast for. My own sanity and for just some mental health, but I hope you all had a wonderful holiday break and I hope that you're excited about the new year and have some new travel plans coming up. I, for one, have a few in mind, but I haven't booked anything yet. I am still waiting to see how my work schedule. Shapes out and then I hope to fill in the rest with some travel. So today I wanted to talk with you about the best adults only all inclusive Marriott Resorts, and I'm hoping that one of these will be on my list for traveling in 2023. So I wanna introduce to you all of the different concepts in this collection. Since 2019, Marriott has been busy adding luxury resorts to what they're calling all-inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy Collection. These hand selected all-inclusive Marriott Resorts, focus on immersion and personalization. Now as a longtime Marriott Bonvoy member myself, as well as a credit card holder, I'm personally very excited for the company's newfound interest in the adults only all-inclusive space in the, so in this blog post, I'll take a look at the 11 all-inclusive Marriott resorts that are adults only within the collection. And at the time of this that I published the blog post of this podcast version. let's see November 9th, so of 2022. So there might actually be more that have been added to the collection, but as at the time of recording this, There are nine different all-inclusive brands within the all-inclusive collection. And out of those three brands have adults only accommodations. And those three are elegant hotels, autograph collection, and the Luxury collection. So we'll start with elegant hotels. Elegant hotels consists of seven boutique luxury hotels in the Barbados. The House and Treasure Beach relaunched under the all-inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy name in 2021. As adults only all-inclusive Marriott resorts, these hotels function on offering unique, culinary, romantic wellness and cultural experiences to their guests. Next we have the autograph collection. These hotels range from boutique to luxury. The properties are hand selected by Marriott Bonvoy and offer unique perspectives on design, craftsmanship, and hospitality. There are over 200 autograph collection properties around the globe, and each one is distinctly independent, so as to leave lasting impression on its guests. Personally, I love this. I really prefer non cookie cutter hotels, so whenever. I can find a good autograph collection in the area. I always like to try these out and I've not been to an all-inclusive autograph collection, but we'll talk about those soon. The final brand is the Luxury Collection, and this is made up of unique properties each intrinsically connected to its location. Which is something I like even more. Not only do I like unique properties, but I also love when they are unique to, specifically to the destination that they're in. Luxury collection hotels offer guests singularly distinctive experiences that can only be found in that particular destination. Marriott describes these hotels and resorts as living cultural expressions of their respective destinations. Now, like I said, at the time of this publication, there is just one all-inclusive Marriott Resort that is adults only within the luxury collection, and we'll get into that in a bit, but that one is sanctuary capna. So we have 10 different adults, only all-inclusive resorts by Marriott, and those are located within five different destinations. Cancun, Mexico, Barbados, Punana. Dominican Republic Neg Grill, Jamaica and St. Lucia. So we'll start with Cancun. Cancun offers visitors turquoise waters, white sand, beaches, and interesting nightlife in the form of shows, bars and nightclubs. It's a popular destination worldwide with one of the busiest airports in the Caribbean and Latin America, the Cancun International. Many people choose to fly straight into Cancun Airport, go through custom customs, then stay in that city because it's far more convenient than driving out several hours further. To some of the other destinations within Quintana Ru after Lightning in Mexico. Aside from all the resort experiences you would expect, defining Cancun like water activities, relaxing by the beach, golf going to the spa, et cetera. Cancun also has many metropolitan options with exclusive shopping centers, handy craft markets, and fine dining. Best time to visit Cancun is December through April, and it's perfect for travelers with limited time off who want a quintessential. Mexico mega resort experience. It's also great for first time travelers to the Mexican Caribbean, and it's also great for travelers that love entertainment and nightlife. So the first one we're going to talk about is Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun. This is an autograph collection property and it also has a con casino. It's five stars. The Hideaway is a resort within a resort concept. It's the adults only section of the resort within a larger, all-inclusive Marriott resort, known as Royalton Riviera, Cancun. Now, hideaway provides guests with plenty of choices. There are 16 bars, 11 restaurants, and a casino on property. Not to mention the beautiful white sand beaches. You can enjoy in-room luxuries like 24 7 room service, aromatherapy and pillow menus. Guests who opt for the Diamond Club Men membership get upgrades like Butler service and late checkout. The next Cancun all-inclusive adults only is Planet Hollywood adult scene, and this is another autograph collection and a four star. Similar to Hideaway Planet Hollywood is the adults only, sorry. Planet Hollywood adult scene is the adults only area of the larger planet Hollywood, Cancun. This part of the property is designed to make adults feel like celebrities. The vibrant, lively F resort features, private beach access, exclusive check-in and checkout, and onsite dining at 11 re. When guests upgrade to STAR class and exclusive star class, they have access to a personal rider with bar labels and in-room snacks. A personal agent to handle all reservations, complimentary access to the hydrotherapy pool, turn down service, upgraded room service menus, aromatherapy, and a pillow menu. Now the last adults only inclusive option within the marrit. Portfolio is Royalton Sheik. Cancun, another autograph collection, and a five star Royalton Sheik. Cancun is a stylish, all-inclusive Marriott resort set in the heart of the Lively Hotel zone in Cancun. Onsite amenities include nine restaurants, six bars, four swimming pools, a fitness center with yoga and kickboxing, and a spa. Now, this is not exclusively adults only. However, Royalton Chic does have an adults only rooftop pool and lounge with weekly themed parties and daily entertainment. All of the elegant suites at this property feature, balconies, sitting areas, and sofa. Upgraded accommodations provide sea views, living dining areas, whirlpool tubs, and or terraces with hot tubs. Next up, we have Barbados. Barbados is laid back, quiet, Caribbean island with white sand and warm water. This destination is home to two of the rarest sea turtles. The Hawks spill and Leatherback Turtle. Organizations like the Barbados Sea Turtle project are dedicated to monitoring and caring for the sea turtle population in the area. If you scuba dive, you won't wanna miss an opportunity to swim with these gentle creatures while exploring shipwrecks. Barbados gets an a consistent dose of Tradewinds throughout the year, attracting, experiencing experienced servers around the world. And the best time to visit here is December to mid-April. Barbados is perfect for sea turtle enthusiasts, avid surfers or wind surfers, kite surfers or travelers who enjoy exploring natural landmarks like sea caves. There are two different properties here that are adults only, all inclusive, and those both are by elegant hotels. The first is called The House, and it is four Star Property, and it's known as the number one adults only all-inclusive boutique resort in Barbados. It's one of the most exclusive and upscale resorts on the island. And it's known for being secluded and private with plenty of contemporary amenities like massage jet showers. Though there's no spa on site, the house specializes in the delivery of unique and memorable touches for its guests. For example, guests are offered welcome drinks and a jet lag revival massage. Upon arrival, champagne, breakfast, and afternoon tea are also include. Now the other Barbados option is called Treasure Beach. It is also a four star elegant hotel and it's also located in St. James Parish on the popular west coast of Barbados. Treasure Beach is a an upscale boutique resort with just 35 suites. Both the pool and onsite restaurant overlook the calm, clear ocean. Upgraded suites offer guests with private plunge pools and spa baths. Now, due to the fact that guest capacity is limited, staff is actually able to provide a higher personalized service with greater attention to details. So, Service is well known at this particular resort. They're known for ambassador level service, so guests can expre expect prompt delivery of snacks, tropical drinks, cold towel towels, and chilled sunscreen while seaside. Moving on to Punana Dominican Republic. Punana is a stunning coastal town on the Eastern point of the Dominican. The town is renowned for its crystal clear waters and sandy beaches With that stretch for miles, some of the best beaches in the Caribbean are found in Punana. Popular attractions include kayaking, snorkeling, and diving due to its rich marine life found in the area. The region is also known for Lacota del Coco, or the Coconut Coast and is home to a number of gorgeous, all-inclusive adult-only resorts. The best time to visit this region is July to August, and it's perfect for beach and water sport lover. Who want the ultimate Caribbean beach experience. And it's also great for travelers who enjoy a lively party scene. So we have several resorts here as well. Within the Marriott, all inclusive adults only, we have first Royalton Sheik Punana. It is again, an autograph collection, has a casino on site and it is five stars. So it has been fondly referred to as the Ibiza of the Dominican Republic. So if that's your vibe, you'll be all over. Royalton Chic. Punana this is the adults only resort on the shores of Uu, Vero Alto Beach. They have themed parties and they have live DJs. Dancing and things like that. But if you want something more relaxing, they also have an outdoor pool, a spa, and a wellness center. Dining options include five oli carte restaurants, and you can get butler's service if you opt for Diamond Club access. Next, we have Hideaway at Royalton. Punana, again, an autograph collection hotel with a casino and it's five stars. It's part of a larger, all-inclusive Marriott resort, but the Hideaway section is the adults only part of the resort, and it provides a more adults only boutique experience for guests. The staff does a good job of maintaining peace and quiet for their adults only guests. The resort offers 12 restaurants, 15 bars, multiple pools, a fitness center, casino, and a spa. this total count of food and beverage options include neighboring properties, Royalton, Punana, and Royalton Splash, Punana, which is much more of a family resort. And finally, I was excited to hear right before I published this, that sanctuary cap is now a included in this roundup, and this is the only luxury collection hotel that's in this roundup. Sanctuary Cabana is a five star resort. It brings a colonial Spanish village vibe to the Caribbean coast. It's located in Kaka which is to be expected. And this is based on the name right. And this is a private gated community retreat. Inside Punana Cabana is made up of 30,000 acres of beaches and oceanfront valley rows, roads. The area is also home to the Punta Espada Golf Club, which is considered one of the best golf courses in the Caribbean. So if you are an avid golfer, this would be the best place for you. Now, if you also are interested in action and adventure, this resort offers some great water, sports and outdoor activities in addition to golfing. They have water, sports, zip lining, and cave diving. Moving on to our next destination is Negril Jamaica. Negril is a very peaceful beach resort town located in Western Jamaica. It's ideal for anyone looking for a slower pace of life, fresh seafood, and complete relaxation. Negril is well known for its long stretch of white sandy beaches, beautiful waterfalls, and amazing evening. the west end has beaches that give way to Rocky Cliff's. Great. Four Cliff jumping. Best time to visit here is mid-December to mid-April, and it's perfect for adventure enthusiasts who enjoy high adrenaline activities, liked cliff jumping, or on the flip side, nature lovers who are seeking a tranquil, laid back and friendly destination to visit. And we have a couple of adults, only inclusive Marriott properties here. The first is Hideaway at Royalton. Negre again, autograph Collection Resort. It's a four star and like other the, like the other Hideaway properties. The Hideaway is the adults only section within a larger resort. This property lies between the family Friendly Royalton Grill Resort and the adults' only Sister Property Grand Lido, which is clothing Optional Hideaway, provides guests with an ocean view pool, a swim-up bar, two small beach areas, and an open air lobby. A majority of the restaurants and water sports can be found next door at Royalton Grill, which Hideaway guests have full access to. Those who opt for Diamond Club will get extra perks, like separate check-in in-room liquor and exclusive lounge access with food and drink. Now as I mentioned, their next door is Grand Lido Ne Grill, and this is another autograph collection four Star Resort. And as you might have guessed by the O Naturall in the Grand Lido Negril name, it is a clothing optional. With just 26 rooms. All of those rooms have ocean view terraces, jetted tubs, two person showers and Butler service. Six of the suites are also swim out. Now you'll have to go next door to hide away or Royalton grill for beach access. But Grand Lido does have a dual level infinity pool with a hot tub and ocean. There is one French restaurant on site and for all other dining spa treatments and fitness guests will need to visit Royalton Grill, which they have full access to. So if you're looking for a more liberal holiday experience, this Butler serviced isolated resort for ages 21 and up may be right for. And we finally have one more resort and one more destination, and that is St. Lucia. St. Lucia is the smallest island in the chain of Windward islands in the Eastern Caribbean. It's an island paradise where people, culture and nature have combined to create a vibrant Caribbean jewel. Nature's perfection is everywhere. As evidenced by the powdery white sand beaches, serene mountain views, and misty waterfalls. St. Lucia is covered in lush rainforest, over 70%, which makes it a haven for birds out of over 180 bird species that call St. Lucia home. Five of them are actually endemic, meaning they are native to St. Luc. St. Lucia is the only country that you'll find the and I don't know if I said that right, but it is the St. Lucia Parrot. St. Lucia is home to some of the top resorts in the world, according to Conde Nast Traveler and Travel and Leisure Magazines, and with good reason. they're known for excellent personalized service, fine dining, and fantastic beaches. The best time to visit here is mid-December to mid-April, and it is perfect for romance seekers. Looking to see some of the more, most beautiful views in the Caribbean vacations. Vacationers who are seeking fine sandy beaches with great snorkeling and bird watchers and hike. and the property here that's part of the Marriott collection is another hideaway. It is Hideaway at Royalton St. Lucia again, autograph collection, and a four star hideaway offers guests the ultimate hideaway on the Caribbean's lush northern coast, located on a private beach. The adults only all-inclusive resort. Polished accommodations that offer beautiful views. Upgraded rooms have pool or sea views. Suites have whirlpool tubs as well as a sitting area or living room. The club level suites add access to a private lounge. The property also offers amenities such as 24 hour room service and access to top rated golf courses nearby. Hideaway offers a variety of cuisine including Japanese, Mexican, Italian, and American. There's also a steakhouse and a sports bar. Additionally, there's a gym, a spa, five outdoor pools, two with swim up bars and direct private beach. So as a Marriott Bonvoy member, I am actually thrilled to have the opportunity to stay at these luxurious properties with using the points that I have accumulated. I primarily earn points from hotel stays and credit card spending with my Marriott Bonvoy card. However, you can also earn points through select tour and activity purchases and travel partner spending for me. Signing up for Marriott Bonvoy is a no-brainer, and I'm not talking about the credit card, I'm just talking about the membership program. From day one, when you sign up, you get complimentary in-room wifi, discounted member rates, and mobile check-in services. Even if those were the only three benefits received, I would say it'd be worth it, but there are more perks than just that. As you stay more nights, you'll get added benefits like priority, late checkout room. Welcome gifts and more. And one more thing that I'll add is that if you do choose to stay at a Marriott property, I highly recommend that you download their mobile app. I regularly used their app. I used it just two nights ago to talk to the front desk via chat, and I asked them if I could have a. Checkout and they were able to do it right there. And that was at 11:00 PM at night So they're really, they use it and it's a wonderful service. The app allows you to check in with your mobile up to two days before your stay. It. You can use the app as a mobile key to open your room, parking, garage, fitness center pool, and more. it gives you full access to your account so that you can check on your point, balance, your stay history, all of that. The mobile chat feature, which I mentioned previously, you can submit requests like if you needed a toothpaste kit or something delivered to your room, you can ask for that. You can you can order food and drinks through the app with mobile dining, or you can. Make reservations for dining at the hotel, and there is also a shuttle tracker, which allows you to see the location of your hotel shuttle in real time. So personally, I really love this app. I think it's made the entire experience for staying at any Marriott property more elevated. And so with that, I would love to know, are you going to stay at any of these adults only all inclusive Marriott proper. which would you book personally?
