Hello, jet setters. How are you doing this week as I'm recording this will be the 99th episode on the podcast. So next week we will have our 100th episode, which is an amazing milestone. And another milestone with today's podcast is this is the final. Where to travel in the series. So I have, I started this series in February and covered where to travel in February and continued on for all of the months. And now we are closing with where to travel in January. So if you ever are wondering where to travel and you've got a particular month that you know that you can take some time off or go on vacation, definitely either go back to the podcast episode or the blog post that has to do with that particular month. And each one has 25 destinations listed all around the world in addition to a bonus at the end. So I might have thrown in a few extra destinations. And so with that, let's get started. January can be a great time to travel. It can be quieter and more peaceful considering that many destinations are less crowded and quite a few people don't actually take time off for vacation in January because a lot of VA or a lot of time was taken off typically in December. So it can be perfect for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation. Additionally, travel prices are often lower in January due to the off peak season depending on where you are. So you might be able to save money on flights and accommodations. I personally would love to do more TR January travel. I think it's a great way to kick off the new year and. off your new year with an adventure, but typically I find myself in the same boat as many others with being unable to take off PTO so early. So hopefully those that will change in my future But let's get started. We've got a lot of sunny places as well as cold places for you skiers and winter sport enthusiast. The first on our list is Abisko Sweden, high of 20, low of five. It's winter season and low tourist season. Located in the heart of Swedish, Lapland, Abisko is known for its stunning natural beauty and winter activities. In January, the area is blanketed in snow and it's the perfect place to go skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding. The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis are also a major draw for visitors to ABIs go in January as this is the best time of the year to see them. In addition to the small town of Abisko having a cozy and charming atmosphere, it also makes it for a relaxing winter getaway. Next we have Atlanta, Georgia High of 53, low of 34.
