Hi, welcome to your 72 hour rubber band. This is Caroline Wallred. Are you a rubber band? Oh, I guess we all are in our bodies, but what does this mean? I mean, how strong is your body like a rubber band? Have you ever, like, for example, taken a rubber band and stretched it to its limits? Does it go right back to where it came from? Well, a lot of times the new ones do. But as they age or they're out in the air, they could even break, they get brittle. So we want to keep that rubber band really strong and really resistant. So when we're stretched from stress, lack of diet, many reasons why we might, somebody coughing around us that we don't like, and then all of a sudden everyone around us is getting sick. How do you keep yourself safe? Now those questions come from a lot of a lot of experience with yourself. I mean, you know when you're on the verge of having that rubber band stretch a little bit too far. And do you take the tissue, do you take the time to rest, or do you have the time, or can you create the time? Well, then all those points are so important, but the best thing to know is this your healthy body has 72 hours to respond to any any virus or bacteria. And do you have it in you to create that immune system that responds so beautifully? I remember a time when I was in California working, I had a practice there. There were a lot of Lalachey League women who brought their children. And the Lalache League, for those who don't know, is a breastfeeding league. And they breastfeeding quite a long time. I mean, I it's not a normal, abnormal to breastfeed five or six years of age. So I remember this one woman came and she was lovely. I love her. She had a small infant, she had a three-year-old and a six-year-old, and they were all breastfeeding, they all waited their turn. And then one of them would get was came in with a cough. And she said, Oh, it just started, but it'll be fine. So she breastfed it, which is so important, as you know. The immune system is so important to give to that child and all your immunities. But she said, in an hour he'll be fine. Well, an hour passed in the office, and that little boy was fine. I mean, in a very, very healthy body, you're supposed to respond to an organism with a slight fever, with a little bit of tiredness, with malaise, with a sore throat. And then in the process of resting, your body gets a chance to have the immune system find that organism and build a response to it. Now, then you of course be careful with yourself, you know, go out and eat sugar and then run a mile right after you had that response. But you know, a healthy body can take that. We are not there these days. Uh, we do not respond very well to organisms. Some of us do, but a lot of people don't. So the question I have for you is how healthy is your rubber band? I mean, how healthy are you that you can find something, get a sore throat, and within 72 hours you feel great and you're out the door. You may have your supplements, you may have your first aid kit in that's a very natural first aid kit, but I remember when my children were teenagers, and I had really begun the natural approach late little too a little bit too late for me. I wish that I had started earlier, but it was really coming to the forefront when my children were teenagers, becoming a homeopath in the process. I said, You have a sore throat, and I used to take them to the doctor. I always feared what the worst may happen. And of course, in a really high fever, you get to 102 or higher. I mean, you cool them down, or you know, you don't want that. You you do have a chance of meningitis and a few other things. So you don't want that real high fever to exist for too long. But if they're warm, it's 100, 101, and you watch it and get them, get them the water they need, the real fresh water, no chlorine, please. And really good food, you know, chicken soup that has been shown that it does have something in the broth. And so now everyone's eating the brone, you know, bone broths, chicken brone broths and there's a reason for that too, the calcium. But you'll have your you'll find your niche. Just pay attention, please, to how well you respond to a slight rest, a good night's sleep, and lots of water. You'd be surprised, and you can change that. So just a little note I give yourself a two hour rule, and I wish you a wonderful three days. Take care.
