Hello everyone. I am sure you've had people in your life that have made incredible impact on your spiritual awareness or just your awareness of things that are going on around you. In my life, there have been many people who have made that kind of contribution to my awareness, especially pertaining to powers in the universe that cannot be easily explained. I'd like you to hear about Ali. It was in the 70s, maybe 80, but it was definitely in the time of gurus. But I was just getting started, and I think so was the culture. I was in Detroit and I was very young, and I believe I was 21 at the time. I just graduated from college and of course had my own apartment and was teaching high school. I had met a number of people that were very different, and I love difference. I mean, I really do like different people. Um, and I mean that in a broad sense because sometimes people who have a lot to share are not necessarily normal. So Ali wasn't quite what we call normal. He wore a turban and he had a store that I just love going into. He had uh incense and books on different things, and I was not quite sure all the little utensils that he had that were there too, but I'm sure he was very busy in this in more in the downtown of Detroit at that time. As a friendship developed, as just talking. I mean, it was just a wonderful time. I love going to a store and I loved his friends, and we hung out a lot and just got to, you know what it's like when you're 21 and you just hang out with your friends. Ollie calls me one day and says, Caroline, I'm going to be there in 10 minutes. You must grab your coat. Remember, it was cold in Detroit. You must grab your coat and you will be there out front waiting for me at time of is of essence. And uh, okay, this is really important. I'm of mission, let's go. I, you know, I was pretty naive too, and I would have gone for probably climbing a mountain or anything else. But this was very important because we get in a car and he really he didn't talk much. And I said, Where are we going? He says, You will see, it's important to be very quiet now and become very centered. Pull up to this home, a small home in Detroit, and we walked in, and there's five, six people sitting in the living room. And they too were quiet and more on a um, oh they were gently talking, but I remember this so distinctly because of the impact it made on my life. And I sat down, he told me to sit down, I sat down on the floor actually, that's the room that was left, and a woman came in who owned the home, and she said, so and so, she had a name, her baby has been crying now for three days and has not slept, neither has the mother, nonstop. And this is what the baby looks like, and this is what the mother looks like. And you will have when I say to start, I want you to start and picture the child sleeping. Most people have done this before that were there. I had never, because in our prayer that I had learned, you just pray for something to change, and then that was it. And that doesn't mean it didn't, but that was it. But this time I we were to picture s child a child sleeping in a bed and the mother very happy and just so relieved. And we started, and I really, really, I don't think it was more than 30 seconds, 45 seconds, with a power of seven people picturing this child asleep. There was a phone that rang. Thank you. The child is sleeping. That was my introduction to the powers of the universe and what we really can do in a different way. So have a great day. Talk to you soon.
