Special Episode for Child Abuse Prevention Month

This is a special edition! It's a short Public Service announcement focused on Child Abuse Prevention Month which is in April. Since we are coming up on activities, I wanted to get this information out sooner rather than later. 

Every year, young children in Delaware are rushed to the emergency room after being exposed to or ingesting medications and substances. Curiosity is part of being a child, but it can turn dangerous when medications are left within reach. It’s easy to overlook how appealing those brightly colored pills or gummies might look to little ones. But they’re not candy—and just one taste can change a life forever.
