Well, praise the Lord.
unknownPraise.
SPEAKER_04Well, who can say praise the Lord? Hallelujah. Children can go and uh and learn of the ways of Jesus this morning. As we in the sanctuary will also learn of the ways of Jesus. It's Him we serve, it's Him we worship. Amen. Not another God? Aren't you grateful for God for sending Him to the cross, shedding His blood? Amen. We have a very powerful children's ministry, and people that serve in the house in that area, we thank them for them. We're anointed and they have a burning word of God in their heart for them, and so they can impart to our children just as we're receiving this morning. Are you ready to receive even more? Now listen, if you still need hands laid on you after this service, I can pray and stand with you. But I believe the Lord has already gone forth and done some work this morning in our praise and worship. I believe that there's been um there's ailments that people have suffered have gone by the power of God this morning. Just check yourself as you're leaving today. God has brought a situation and turned it around for you today in the name of Jesus. Somebody came in with a headache, it's no longer there, even though our loudness may have caused it and increased. I'm telling you, God is a supernatural God and He delivers healing power when we gather together. Amen. Well, let's uh thank the Lord for the word. I thank you, Jesus, for the word this morning. We thank you for the new season. Use my lips, use this vessel, however you want, Holy Spirit, and let it bring uh chain chain-breaking power to our hearts this morning, our hearts and minds. And we receive the word this morning. And everyone said, Amen. Well, let's open our Bibles to um Mark chapter 6. Mark chapter 6. And wouldn't you know it? I actually forgot my Bible this morning. But never fear, I have got some scriptures written out. But you guys have got to help me this morning. If I ask you to read the passage, be ready. I want you to track with me. You ready? Mark chapter 6. I can read this one to kick us off. Actually, this morning's about the Good Shepherd. I know all around the world in Australia we're celebrating Father's Day. Let me just say, good on you for coming to church to honor the Father. Amen. We put him first. Hallelujah. Well, in Mark chapter 6, verse 34, it says, And Jesus, when he came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them. Why? Because they were like sheep, not having a shepherd. It wasn't because they saw sick he saw sickness, although in many other parts of the Bible he did move with compassion for the sick and the lost. But what did he notice in this multitude? You know, this is the where the miracle happened with the feeding of the food. What did Jesus notice right here? There were a sheep without a shepherd. So he noticed a flock. He noticed a flock that was before him. And what does a flock do that has no shepherd? They're scattered, they're undecisive, they don't know where they're going, they can't hear the voice of a good shepherd. And he had compassion on them. And it was like uh he was beginning to notice that he himself was called to be a shepherd. Amen. So this morning's about being a good shepherd. We're gonna learn about Jesus and the way he discovered and the way he told us and what he uh shared with his disciples about who he was and how he revealed himself as the good shepherd. Can you say good shepherd? Hallelujah. And the way he began to shepherd them in that verse, continuing, so he began to teach them many things. He began to teach them. Hallelujah. Can someone say amen? Let's go over to Mark chapter 14. As you know, I like to bring many, many scriptures to our table and feast on it this morning. Why? Because the word is sharp, it's it's it's powerful, the word is living, the Bible says, and it's able to cut asunder the soul and the spirit and reveal the intents of the heart. So Mark chapter 14, verse 27. Then Jesus said to them, All you, all of you will be made to stumble because of me this night. For it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will scatter. You see that? So he's already identified himself at the end of his ministry as the good shepherd. And he's understanding, he's telling them, the shepherd will be stripped struck, struck. Is that good English? I don't know. Anyway, he'll be struck. And the sheep will be scattered. Let's go over to Isaiah 53. Isaiah 53. This was uh a memory verse that I helped our children remember. There's a core foundational scripture. We get it in our heart, it'll never leave us, even if it's in a song. For me, I remember it in a song. Who remembers Colin Buchanan? Yeah? The kids are, yeah, yeah. Who remembers the actual song? We all like sheep have gone astray. Duba Duba. To each of us on his own way. Baba Duba. Look it up on YouTube, it's Colin Buchanan, it's amazing. Look at the of us all. All right, Isaiah 53, verse 1 to 6. Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant. Isaiah is prophesying here. And as a root out of dry ground, he has no formal comeliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected by man, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we hid, as it were, our faces from him. He was despised, and we did not esteem him. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, yet we esteem him stricken and smitten by God and afflicted. But he was wounded, notice this, he was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities, and that chastisement for our peace was upon him. And what else? That's powerful, that's really powerful. By his stripes we receive healing, we receive restoration, we receive wholeness. Why? Not because of our good works, but putting our faith and trust in the blood of Jesus. Everything that he suffered was for you and for me. Amen. Let's keep reading. All we like sheep. See the reference here? The Bible references the humanity, humankind as sheep have gone astray. We have turned everyone to his own way. And the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. You see, the moment that Jesus saw the multitude and had compassion on them, and he saw them as sheep without a shepherd, he became their shepherd. He became the sacrificial lamb right there in his heart. He knew that he was going to the cross because the Bible says, For the joy that was laid before him, he pursued his destiny. Amen. Can you say amen? Even the wise men knew there was a shepherd coming. Because when the wise men inquired of King Herod, you know when the wise men were looking for the star? And Herod said, What are you searching for? And they quoted Micah 5, 2, but it's written in Matthew chapter 2, verse 6. It says, But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are not the least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel. You see that? We're just establishing that Jesus is a good shepherd. He's a good shepherd, and God placed on him that authority and that mantle of shepherding the God's people. Amen. Go to John chapter 10. John chapter 10. We're going to look at 10 attributes of the shepherd. But we're just laying a foundation right now in scripture. John chapter 10, and we'll start from verse 11. John chapter 10 and verse 11. I just really hope this is recording because I haven't been that successful in the last couple of Sundays. Because I felt the Lord was saying all week he was impressing on my heart, tell them about me as a shepherd. Show them what I did and what a shepherd is. You know, when we don't know, we just don't know, right? But when we gain revelation and understanding of what a shepherd is, we can begin to receive what the shepherd can do. Amen? Who wants to receive what the shepherd can do this morning? John chapter 10, verse 11, he declares, Jesus declares himself, he declares, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep, but a hirling, he who is not the shepherd, one does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees. And the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hirling flees because he is a hirling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and I know my sheep, and I am known by my own. As the Father knows me, even so I know the Father, and I lay down my life for the sheep. You see the references, you see the relationship, you see how he knew who he was. I lay my life down for the sheep, and other sheep I have, which are not of this fold, them also I must bring, and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock and one shepherd. Can you say amen? You see, he brought us in, he engrafted us. It was Israel that he was sent to, but when he died on that cross, it was opened up to all of us. Aren't you grateful for that? Verse 17. Therefore, my father loves me because I laid down my life that I may take it again. Notice that he willingly laid down his life. They didn't take it, he gave it. Says it right here. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it up again. This command I've received from my father. Now, the word shepherd in the Greek, do you want to know what that is? The word shepherd in the New Testament, number one, literally means a shepherd. Would you guess? Guess that it would mean that. Someone who tends, someone who feeds, someone who protects, someone who guides and cares for the sheep. Can we say tend? Can we say feed? Protect. Guide cares. Amen. Peter said that God cares for you, therefore cast your cares on him. He's referencing the good shepherd. Amen. Number two, it also means a spiritual shepherd or pastor, someone entrusted with the care and guidance of God's people. And that word appears in Ephesians 4 under the category of pastor. The fivefold ministry. Who's aware of that? The fivefold ministry, the apostle, the prophet, the the uh yeah, teacher, evangelist, and pastor. Okay, so that's also referenced as that same Greek word, shepherd. Alright. Let's have a look at ten attributes of the shepherd this morning. Jesus, the shepherd, who knows his sheep personally, he knows who you are, he calls you. The Bible says that he chose you before you chose him. And so the shepherd knows his own. Go over to, we read that in John 10, but go over to John 10 3. John 10, 3. Can someone read that out nice and clear? John 10 3.
SPEAKER_01To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
SPEAKER_04In Isaiah, the Bible says that he knows you by name. And you are the apple of his heart. He also said in Psalm 139, he formed you in your mother's womb. He also wrote a book about you. He knows every hair on your head. You see, Jesus is Jesus is um uh interceding on our behalf that you would make it right through to the end. Because he chose you and he called you and you responded to him. Now he's he's cheering you on with a cloud of witnesses to make it to the end, to discover that your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. He knows you. Can you say he knows me? He knows me. It brings comfort. There's some things that challenge us in this world. Devil wants to come and tell you you've done it now, you've messed up. Jesus doesn't know you, he's turned his back on you. Who knows that's a lie? You can turn around and tell the devil, I know that voice, and it's not the one of the good shepherd. Amen. Because I belong to him and he belongs to me. Number two, so number one, Jesus the shepherd, he knows his sheep personally. He knows them personally. Jesus is the shepherd who leads his sheep. Number two. Let's go to Psalm 23. This is a most amazing psalm about the shepherd. David had a revelation of the shepherd. Psalm twenty-three. Another one that we we uh had the children memorize. Let's read from one to three. Psalm twenty-three, verse one to three. Who would like to read that nice and loud? For his name's sake. The Bible says the word is a lamp to my feet, a light to my path. He leads us in the way of righteousness. When the Bible says, seek first the kingdom of God, it doesn't just stop there, does it? It seeks first the kingdom of God, his righteousness. What does that mean? His ways. He has a way. In fact, he said, someone remember in the scripture where he says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. You see, there's no other that comes to God except through Jesus, but it's so practical. He leads us. He says, This is the way we should go. Don't turn to the right or to the left. This is the way we should walk. Do it. And sometimes we kind of question and go, is this right, God? Is this really right the right way? You know, I remember we were when we were in Melbourne. I mean, I love how the Lord weaves his story into people's lives. He knows the end from the beginning, right? And we were in Melbourne and we were planting a church, and um the girls were going to a kindergarten in uh remember last weekend was talking about sunshine, scumshine in Victoria. And um there was a great big building right next door to their kindergarten. We thought this is a perfect ministry building, and we felt impressed of the Lord to lay hands on this building and just claim it for the glory of God, release the anointing, walk around it like Jericho, you know, the old Pentecostal march, and just claim that land for his work, for his purpose, for his glory. Well, you know, we can add our interpretation to that, and we go, well, you know, that must be our building for the church, but it wasn't. The Lord had a higher purpose, a higher purpose. He always sees things greater than what we do, his ways are higher, his ways are greater, and we lean not to our own understanding, but we lean towards his word, amen. And trust on him. Anyway, as we were laying hands and we did this quite regularly for probably about a year, there was it was vacant for quite some time, and then the salvation army moved in. Isn't that wonderful? Praise God, the salvation army moved in. It gets better. You know, uh, some of you have heard the journey that of um our eldest daughter returning to Jesus, and and what a journey and a powerful encounter she's had. Well, just recently she's um gone through some um, you know, some tests and trials. The enemy doesn't just want to lose his hand when you've been living for him for 10 years, right? It's a battle. The kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent must take it by force, you know, and so sometimes the battle can rage and it's fearful, it's fit, it's fierce, but the the Bible says that greater is he who's in us than he that is in the world. And so, whatever the enemy tries to do, and often he overplays his hand, and we can laugh at the enemy just like Jesus does and says, ha ha ha, no way, we're going through this, amen. We're coming through the other side. Anyway, she was um in in a spot of trouble, and we prayed and we we we prayed together. I mean, just praying with my daughter in tongues for an hour on the phone, what a major breakthrough. I'm like rejoicing, I'm like going, yes, God, you know, and uh anyway, she had um you know, uh was invited by a close friend that she had connected with in home group to go and work out her her documentation and her resume in a quiet setting, get her out of the house. And so she met her at her work. And wouldn't you know? This person that God has placed in her life works in that same building that we laid hands on 20 years ago. And she came to redo and be encouraged in that building only last week. And it doesn't, it gets better, but that's part two for another time. God has gone before you, he will not let you stumble. When we cry out to him, the Bible says he will answer. And even if it's 20 years later, he has already designed people to come into your life. And when we stand and pray for our children and declare only the right people, Lord, uh, cross their path. We declare uh people that you have for them to connect with in the name of Jesus, and we take authority over the kingdom of darkness and any contract that the enemy has loose to come and bring people in our children's lives to destroy them, we cancel it out by the blood of the Lamb. Amen. You have to go to warfare. We have to go to warfare on our behalf. It's no, it's no joke out there, it's a spiritual battle. And my daughter's starting to realize this. This is not a natural battle, it is a spiritual one. But praise God, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, are they? But they are mighty. Say mighty, they're mighty, they work every day. The might of God goes before us, and that sword as we yield it is mighty in God. Amen. Say mighty, mighty. Even this morning we used one of the weapons. What was that? Praise, powerful. So he leads us. We're on number two, we're nearly we're running out of time. Let's keep going. Jesus is the shepherd who feeds his sheep. Jesus is the shepherd who feeds his sheep. Go to John chapter six. John chapter six and verse thirty-five. Can someone read that out nice and clear? Jesus is a shepherd who feeds his sheep. John six thirty-five. Notice that two things. He feeds us bread and he nourishes us with water. Because we can't live we can't live without both, right? We need bread and water. Where else does it say in the Bible that out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water? Jesus is the bread of life. He already established that in the in the temptation where the Holy Spirit led him to the wilderness. And the devil tempted him and said, Turn these stones into bread. And he says, No, no, no, no. The Bible says that man shall not live on bread alone, but by every ram of word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. And we've already established that the word is living and powerful. This morning you are being fed the bread of life. This morning he is depositing food that nourishes us. Why? Because our spirit is hungry. Our spirit man is hungry for nourishment. We feed ourselves food every day, don't we? Some of us are more healthier than others. And last time when Dan went to Indonesia, I've got to confess I had been quite unhealthy. In fact, I'd been eating a lot of junk food and my health went down really quickly. Who noticed that? So quick. Our pastor was in Indonesia, and by the time he got back, I was just holding on. And I ended up with pneumonia in hospital. Because of my own stupidity and because of the battle that raged. You see, when you're standing in the pulpit, it may look easy, but there is a battle that you wage on behalf of everyone. Like this morning, I came in with a headache, that's gone now. Whoever came in with a headache, it's gone. Because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. And so, and so he feeds us. If we can feed our body nutritious food three times a day, how much more do we feed our spirit man? And he wants us to be planted like a tree. He wants us to grow strong with roots going down, and that nourishment is his bread and his water. So the shepherd is designed to bring bread every Sunday, to bring bread and water every meeting that we gather together, so that when we leave here, you had a really good meal, right? Just put your tongue out. Really good meal this morning. Amen. Actually, you know what? Let's continue. John 21. Go over to John twenty-one and verse fifteen and seventeen. Jesus feeds his sheep. John twenty-one and verse fifteen and seventeen. Can someone read that out nice and loudly?
SPEAKER_05Anyone said, Lord, you know all things. You know that I love you. Jesus said to me, Feed my sheep.
SPEAKER_04Feed my sheep. And sometimes it takes um somebody else to speak into our life, right? Sometimes we've done everything we can, we're searching the scriptures, we're crying out to him, and he doesn't want to do, he doesn't want us to do life by ourselves. And he'll put the answer in somebody else's life to then share that with you. They you might they might not even know they're being used by God, but the bread is sitting in somebody's heart to share and to feed somebody else. And they might just say the right word at the right time, and you've received a rhema. Say Rhema. Something that you've already been expecting, something that you've already called out to God, I need an answer on this, and you and you are expecting God to speak to you, and the Lord sends somebody across your path. Because you know the Bible also says that the harvest is white, but the laborers are few. But send the laborers into the harvest field. So there's a promise or a word that you're carrying for somebody else. It's not just you. Because when Jesus said that man should not live by bread alone, he was confronting the temptation to eat the bread himself. We it's not designed for us to eat ourselves, it's designed to impart to others so that this morning after we're praising, and I got you to lay hands and declare, Holy Spirit be filled, because that is how he works. His kingdom, we bring our supply, every one of us, so that we're all built up together. Somewhere in Ephesians it says that, if somebody can remember that. Jesus feeds his sheep. Amen. Jesus the shepherd. Now I love this. This is one of my favorite passages. Jesus the shepherd seeks the lost and the wandering. Can someone pass me a Bible open to 15? Luke 15. It could have been any 15, right? Could have been any 15. It's all good, but let's go to Luke chapter 15. And let me. Okay, I just don't want to touch my phone just in case the recording turns. Yeah, could you hold it? Hold hold hold your Bible for me.
SPEAKER_01What verse we even?
SPEAKER_04Uh Luke 15 and verse um three, I believe. Let's actually start from the verse, verse 1. I love, I just love this parable because it really tells us, it just gives us the full picture of the shepherd. Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to him to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes complained, saying, This man receives sinners and eats with them. Oh man, did Jesus get mad at the religious? Did he not get mad? I'm telling you, it's the religious, it's the one that comes up against the fresh move of the Holy Spirit. We've got to stand, the Bible says, stand against the leaven of the Pharisees and the sorry, the yeast of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod. Anyway, verse 3. So he spoke this parable to them, saying, What man of you having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the 99 in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost until he finds it. Notice that? Notice that the shepherd owns, stay there, the shepherd owns the flock. They're his. I mean, the Lord opened my eyes two weeks ago to this. They're his people. I've always looked at it as the world, and it can know it is as an evangelistic tool sheep of the world. But let's bring it in to reality, let's bring it into more practical application, the church. Jesus is the head of the church. We are the sheep of his pasture. We come to feed off him every Sunday. We come to seek him. We come to worship him. But one goes astray. You start noticing one of them's not coming to church anymore. One of them started to stray a little bit, live, go on the edges, perhaps hasn't joined in a midweek meeting, perhaps is suffering out there in the world. Started to slip back. Maybe the enemy's hooked into a lie to that person. Jesus has compassion on his sheep and he goes out of his way to go into the world to go and grab that sheep back. This is his shepherding heart. So should we. It is such a powerful tool because even when the pastor was talking about even slightly drifting, Jesus doesn't even like lukewarmness. You know, when we drift, it's like the sheep that's decided to go its own way. Ba, ba, do, ba, ba. To each of us his own way. Not seeking the kingdom first, not seeking his ways of being right. We want to do it our way. This is the right way, God. And you tell him. No, no, no, no. He wants to tell us his way. But he goes out and he goes to find this person. They could have been lost. We all know about the prodigal. This is the year of prodigal returning. Amen. The Lord spoke to me at the beginning of the year, 2026. Every prodigal that has been in touch with you, every person that's been under your covering, every person that you've spoken into the heart to this year is a year of harvesting and they're returning. So returning. They're returning this year, they're returning in the name of Jesus. He's gone out to get that one that was lost. And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. Why does he lay it on the shoulders? Why does this rebellious or lost sheep, could be a lamb, why is why is it on his shoulders? Well, it could be a number of things, right? I asked the I asked the Lord, why carry it back? Who knows that the world can destroy? Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. But the enemy, who knows his assignment? To kill, and if he can't kill, he'll destroy, and if he can't destroy, he will absolutely obliterate. You see, when when we start to stray and we start to do things our own way, we're opening the door wide to the destroyer in our lives. And we come out with some wounds, we come out limping, and we can't walk, we're weary. I had a text last week. I can't do this. I'm weary, I can't fight anymore. So, what does he do? He comes, Jesus, he picks you up and he puts you on his shoulders. Why? Because he says, Come to me, all you who are weary, heavy laden, and burdened, I will give you rest. Put my yoke upon you. Put my yoke upon you. Yeah? Because that anointing breaks that yoke. His anointing, when you're on his shoulders, that anointing is breaking the wounds, it's healing the heart, it's restoring the life of those that he's carrying. He wants you back in the fold, amen. He wants you in his pen. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I found my sheep which was lost. He didn't come with scolding. Thanks, Murray. He didn't come with scolding, he didn't come with a whip, he didn't come with, I told you so. He came with a rejoicing in his heart, because he knows his power is the one who restores us, his blood is the one who makes things right. Amen. Can someone say amen about that? He is the good shepherd that goes out and finds the lost one and brings it home. Who's ever felt like he's the one who came and chose me and brought me home? I know he did that to me. He brought me home as a little girl. Even on my bedroom door, my nana had forged a copper play, it was very popular in those days. Um, I'm talking about early 70s, and I had it on my bedroom door as a little girl sitting down praying, and I was taught to pray every day. Oh, we didn't grow up in church, I can tell you. But I I had a heart for Jesus and I loved him, and I just wanted him, but I went astray. I I wanted to do my thing, I want to do my own life. I was only 15 when he called me. I heard the voice of the shepherd. He said, You will serve me all your life and I will take care of you. The Bible says, Who's ever read, I will never leave you nor forsake you in Hebrews. He's the good shepherd. Say, good shepherd. Well, of course, he let me do my own thing because he's not a hard task master. He has given us free will. And I destroyed, literally utterly destroyed my life. Live for the devil, live for myself. But he called me back. He went in to find me and draw me back home, and I can experience his goodness of bringing me back from being lost. Amen. Who can say amen to that? He seeks those that are lost and wandering. Jesus, next one, Jesus is the shepherd who gathers and carries his sheep. I believe we just mentioned that he carries us. When we're too, we're too, we're we're the fight's too much, and sometimes the battle does rage. He carries us. Who's ever experienced him carrying carrying you on his shoulders? Where you can just go, you've got this God. You've got this, right? Can you say you've got this? You've got this God. You've got this. Just by saying you've got this, God, requires faith. It requires a trust that he's got it. Or who likes to be in control of everything? Let's be in control and make sure everything works out right. Huh? Yeah. We've all been there. We've got to set this upright and we've got to make sure this happens and just why? Because we feel safe in that. But he's asking us to not lean on our own understanding, let go. And let's lean and trust in the one who knows everything. Amen. So he carries his sheep. Someone read to me Isaiah 40, verse 11. Isaiah 40, verse 11. Amen. He gathers and he carries. How powerful is that? How powerful. You see, we we so the enemy tries to convince us we're all alone in this world, that we've been abandoned, that we have to strive. You know? The only thing that we strive for is to is to enter into that place of faith, believing in his word. Jesus says, have the faith of God. Amen. So, isn't that a wonderful piece of scripture there? Isaiah 40. He gathers, he feeds and he carries. Okay, the next one. Jesus is the shepherd who protects his sheep and does not abandon them. Let's keep reading from Psalm 23. Psalm 23 and verse 4. Psalm 23 and verse 4. Very powerful there. He does not abandon them. I don't have it on my nose. Somebody read it.
SPEAKER_05I will be of no you will for you are with me.
unknownYou're brought or you that they come back.
SPEAKER_04Hallelujah. You will not be abandoned. When you enter into the narrow way, the Bible says broad is the way that leads to destruction, but narrow is the way that leads to life. And you see, with with abandonment, with rejection, all those things, there are spiritual weapons that the enemy wants to send your way. The enemy would try to, and they and they they travel in packs. Like last week I was praying in the Holy Ghost, and by the word of knowledge, I was breaking off abandonment. And I said to the person, I said, Do did you in this circumstance did you feel abandoned? She said, Yes. I said, Well, that's a spirit. Just like this, the the the uh when Jesus says that you've not been given a spirit of peer of fear, abandonment is also a spirit, and it tries to rot rob us from that security that Jesus is there, and so we all we have to do is deny excess or go to war for that person. I said, recognize this situation that was set up as a trap, set up by the enemy, was designed to bring in a spirit of abandonment to hold you in that place of rejection, and rejection came along with it, and fear. So now we have to deal with this. We uh and so I said to her, if you if you um release forgiveness over this situation, you see, Jesus always has a better way, right? We want a revenge and we want to make things right because it's an injust thing, and it really was. But Jesus says, if you give it to him, if you offer forgiveness and leave it with him, it closes the door to rejection and abandonment and fear. And as I began to war against these spirits, I bound them from their operation. We closed the door and didn't give any extra, we command it to go in the name of Jesus, right? Because it's in his name, and there's a mighty delivering power that happens in that place. And what happens? They leave, they leave. The fire of God comes and burns up that assignment, and then Jesus comes in like a flood and brings peace to that heart, and that person declares they're light. The person says, Um I feel lightened now. Yes, because it's a spiritual thing. We cannot deal with spiritual things with the natural. What do we do with the natural in the world? In the world, they just go to drugs, they go to alcohol to ease them from the pain of abandonment or rejection. But Jesus says, No, I've given you the sword, I've given you my name, I've given you the blood, begin to wage warfare because the kingdom of God suffers violence, and the violent will take it by force. And you begin to submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. He will flee. Recognize it. Oh, I feel abandoned. It's a spirit. Deal with it in the spiritual world. Deal with it with the blood of the Lamb. Amen. Jesus is the shepherd who restores his. He's not only interested in your in your uh spiritual well-being, but in your soul. What's our soul, remember? Mind, will, and emotions. Remember, we're made up of three three three parts. We've got a physical body, we live in that body, it's our spirit that lives in our body, but then there's the computing system. Say computing system. The compute, the the the hard drive. It's it's the it's the it's the whole realm. The mind, the will, and the emotions, right? God has given you free will. That's your choice. And that choice is going to either agree with your flesh or it's going to agree with the spirit. And he wants us to be restored in this spirit of our mind because when we agree with the spirit, the Holy Spirit comes to infuse his strength. And when we say the joy of the Lord is our strength, our soul begins to agree with it, and we begin to rejoice, even though the circumstance may not have changed. Why? Because it's a dying, it's a spiritual walk, and as we Jesus says, I call those things that be not as though they are. And when we begin to agree in our solar with the Spirit of God, it begins to change the outward circumstances. What looked like it was impossible, Jesus says, All things are possible to him who believes. Where's the believing part? In the soul realm. Amen. So when we begin to align our soul and be restored, it begins to change the outward view. You have you ever seen when somebody's incredibly uh under pressure and and suffering hopelessness and depression, even circumstances begin to agree with that. Even trouble begins to knock on their door. Calamity after calamity, and it's almost like a cycle. You're just saying, what the heck's going on in this person's life? Well, they're spiraling down because their thinking is off. And the devil is accommodating their lives. Yeah, let's confirm that thought that you have. Oh, I've been abandoned, everything's hopeless. Yeah, let's bring a circumstance that confirms that. And before you know it, your soul is agreeing with the outside circumstances, and you've lost sight of the weapons of our warfare. He comes to restore our soul so that our circumstances begin to line up with him. Amen. Can someone say amen? All right, someone say five minutes. Five minutes. Has anyone getting anything out of this this morning? Okay, two more to go. He lays down his life for his sheep. The shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 1 Peter 2, let's go over there. 1 Peter 2. This is just reiterating uh Isaiah 40. Peter is declaring the word here and that Jesus has laid down his life. 1 Peter 2, 24 and 25. Can someone read that out nice and loud?
unknownHe doesn't carry us into the body of Christ so that we can be dead to save.
SPEAKER_04Amen. He laid down his life. There's another part in the scripture where it says, No greater love has any any friend than one to lay down his life. And we read right from the beginning that he willingly went. Herod and the culture of that day did not take his life. Can you imagine what kind of power the devil would have had to have to put Jesus on that cross? Because when the armies came into that garden to take Jesus into custody, what happened? They said, Where is the Jesus? And he stood up and said, I am. And what happened? The power of God hit the soldiers and they all fell down. Well, you say, Well, what is that falling down in the church? Right there. The power of God hit them. Slayed them all down. You see, it wasn't the devil that took Jesus' life, he willingly. Gave it. Amen. Last one. Jesus the shepherd keeps his sheep and brings them eternal life. Eternal life. John seventeen twelve. Let's go for there. John seventeen twelve. He keeps his sheep and brings them to eternal life. John seventeen twelve. Someone read that? He guarded and he protected. His word is a lamp. His word guards us. Remember the Bible says give everything through prayer and supplication, and he mounts guard over our heart and mind. He's giving us tools on how he guards us. Go over to Hebrews thirteen twenty. Hebrews thirteen twenty. Two more scriptures. Hebrews thirteen twenty. Someone would like to read that out aloud.
SPEAKER_00Our Lord Jesus.
SPEAKER_04Did it something was the word eternal in there somewhere? From the blood of the everlasting covenant. It's an eternal covenant. It's everlasting. Revelation 7-12. Revelation 7-17. Have a great week, guys. Bless you. Revelation 7.17. They have to go to work. Revelation 7.17.
SPEAKER_02For the lamb which is in the midst of the tribe shall feed them and shall lead them under many fountains of water, and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
SPEAKER_05Hallelujah.
SPEAKER_04What a great promise that is. Amen. Every tear, every trouble, everything that we have suffered in this world, he brings and more he keeps it in a jar, by the way. Praise the Lord. So he keeps and it brings us into eternal life. That is the power of the blood. The blood has transformed us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of light. That's what the Bible says, you know. He he uh he paraded the kingdom and principalities and powers like a spectacle. Then you no longer have authority over my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and the stranger's one they will not follow. Whenever the devil challenges you, says, I don't hear the voice of God. Well, the Bible tells me that I do. Amen. Just practice with me. I hear the voice of the good shepherd, and the stranger's voice I will not follow. Amen. Let's all just stand and thank the Lord for this morning. Father, we give you glory and praise this morning for your word. We thank you, Father, that you've revealed to us the Good Shepherd on this great, great, great Father's Day celebration that you have given us the ultimate fathering shepherd who takes care of us. Hallelujah. Put your hand on your heart. Lord, in the name of Jesus, I release Lord God.
