One of the most pivotal goals in the management of the COVID-19 pandemic is to make sure the hospitals and health care systems do not become overwhelmed with patients. And for a long time, Crawford County and the surrounding region did a great job of that.
But things are changing. As the virus finds its way to the older populations, local and regional hospitals are seeing a substantial increase in patients and are close to reaching capacity.
