Frozen Lakes and Finding Time - Rachel Forbes
Show Notes

Last year, Rachel Forbes completed a 100km run across a frozen lake in Mongolia, on 4 months training and despite never having even run a marathon! As a result of this life changing experience, she realised that it was possible to find time for her own adventures - even working full time and as a mum to 3 boys - and has made "finding time" her mantra ever since. She has gone on to fall deeply in love with wild swimming, regularly getting up at 5am through the winter to head to the local marine lake for her fix!

In this episode, I talk to Rachel about what motivated her to sign up for the event in the first place, the challenges she faced and what she learnt as a result. We also discuss the impact this has had on her mindset towards her "everyday adventures" and how this feeds back into the rest of her life.
