Women's Adventure Stories & Cycling the UK - Frankie Dewar
Show Notes

Frankie Dewar is currently cycling 3000km around the UK, talking to women older than herself about the outdoors. Having taken up cycling in lockdown, Frankie posted the idea in a Facebook group hoping for 6 replies to make the trip viable. As the responses flooded in, Frankie plotted a route around the UK that would allow her to speak to as many women as possible, which eventually extended from Sussex to Scotland via the West Country and Cumbria and back down through Yorkshire, Cambridge and  London.

In this episode we discuss what motivated Frankie to take up this epic trip, the highs and lows she has experienced along the way and the value of giving voice to stories that we don't usually hear.
