Redefining Routines - AKA: Me Time
Show Notes

Face it, when someone mentions the word routine, you might gasp and immediately think...that sounds boring.

So what if we redefined exactly what a routine is and how that looks on a day to day basis?

We are so excited to have Natalie Saimeri, Emotional Agility Coach, as a guest on this episode. She gracefully tackles the stigma of routines, how to reframe them to be productive and the importance of change!

Beginners Guide to Creating Your Breathwork Practice with Natalie Saimeri

Natalie's Tips to Starting a Routine:

  1. Why am I doing this?  What is my intention for starting a 'ME TIME' practice
  2. Get a physical, tangible fixture and put it in a place where you pass by every day. (A picture, favorite pen, notebook, pillow, blanket)
  3. For 15 days straight, sit in your "ME TIME' space with your fixture(s) for 30-60 seconds saying "hi self, how are you?" Meeting with the fixture and yourself. Show up in the space to rebuild trust with yourself.
  4. After the first 15 days, the next 15 days site very day for 2-5 minutes saying everything you are grateful for.
  5. Now you have completed 30 days. The next 30 days will be exactly what you just did, together in one sitting.
  6. Every day for the next 30 days, sit and meet with yourself and your fixtures (maybe you get new ones now) say "hi self, how are you? Is there anything you need from ? What are you feeling today? It is okay to feel this." and close your eyes and say everything you are grateful for.
