Look Out For Joy
We can have joy even in the midst of tough circumstances. After suffering the unthinkable death of my three-year-old son, I share ways to look for joy no matter what happens in life. I pray you will be on the "Look Out for Joy." Your friend, Adria Wilkins. Look Out For Joy
Favorite Things - Tickle Me Plants
For the month of April, I am sharing with you a few of my favorite things. In May, if you have signed up for my newletter at https://mailchi.mp/bbeb7dde7d4c/ic29mkv0br I will draw one winner to receive a box of my favorite things.
This week one of my favorite things is the Tickle Me Plant. You can order them at https://ticklemeplant.com/ and the company has offered my listeners a 25% off coupon code. All you have to do is enter joybox in the coupon code box when you place your order.
The tickle me plant is referred to as the sensitve plant. When its leaves are touched they close up and then reopen after a few minutes.
Every spring, I enjoy gathering seeds to plant in my garden. I get so eager to see the seedlings coming up through the soil.
The dandelions fluff we see in the spring and summer are seeds that are spread when the wind hits them. The yellow flowerhead on a dandelion has about 150-200 ray florets. I took the time to stand in my backyard and count the florets on a dandelion and couldn't believe there were that many little florets but it's true.
Are we spreading seeds of joy into other people's lives?
