13 September: A service in which Kathy Galloway reflects on the meaning of forgiveness in our times

Michael

Evening Prayer in modern traditional language with words and prayers for The Fourteenth Sunday after Trinity. The service starts with a piano improvisation on the hymn Somos del Senor by Emily Walker and the poem "Forgiveness" by William Carlos Williams. The hymn recurs and weaves with the words of St Paul in Romans 14 speaking of the need for a particular kind of forgiveness in our churches.
The Gospel from Matthew 18 takes the theme of forgiveness deeper and Kathy Galloway reflects on its profound importance for us now.

Guitar and voice - Paul Heppleston
The Priory Choir recorded individually at home by the Director of Music, Hilary Norris.

The service is led by lay members of the Priory congregation, Jean Dixon and Rob Walker
