Communism and Christianity Part 2: Reflections on Growing up in Romania during the time of Communism
Show Notes

This is the continuation of our first discussion about the difficulties that communism has been to Christians. Communism continues to affect many around the world. Many religious groups are experiencing persecution from Communist regimes in places like China, Cuba, Laos, Vietnam, and North Korea. During the time of the cold war, most countries in Eastern Europe were communist, too. Dr. Octavian Baban, who grew up in Romanian during communist rule is our guest. He is Associate Professor of New Testament from the Baptist Institute at Bucharest State University and a pastor at Biserica Baptistă Sfânta Trieme in Bucharest, Romania.
