Preparedness and Mental Health
When chaos reigns, your mental health, your control of emotions will be critical to your ability to make sound decisions. If you begin disruptions from a place of peace and calm, you'll be more capable to navigate the crisis and ensure a positive outcome. You must first accept that your emotions and mental health are your responsibility and become determined to improve your mental state.
This is not clinical advice, but a discussion about the steps I took to address my failing mental health and set myself on the road to recovery. In summary, I freed my calendar of all non-life supporting commitments, removes places, activities and experiences that induced stress and finally, fired toxic humans from my life.
