Coaching Kids Curling
The goal of this podcast is to help those who are involved with youth curling programs, including coaches, volunteers, program organizers and parents.
Our primary focus will be on "U12" or "Little Rocks" curling, but this podcast will occasionally touch on topics of interest to U15/U18/U21 coaches and organizers. Coach Glenn Gabriel will offer advice, share resources and give you the occasional pick-me-up when you need it.

Coaching Kids Curling
Live At The Oshawa Youth Funspiel With Liz Wrigley
In a first for the podcast, Coach Glenn takes a road trip for an in-person interview at the Oshawa (Ont.) Curling Club. On March 5, 2022, OCC hosted its Youth Funspiel, which hosted many U12 and U21 teams from clubs across the Greater Toronto Area.
In this episode, Coach Glenn speaks with OCC Little Rocks and Junior Co-Convenor Liz Wrigley at the end of a busy bonspiel day. We talk about the excitement of the day, the challenges of organizing a bonspiel during COVID, and what she wants the kids to get out of the event.
