 | Pat Grey Matter | Well, well, I don't know if you remember my older brother he wants to stay pious as well.
 | Ella YourBella | Yeah, of course. They're member him.
 | Pat Grey Matter | But my, my obviously, my older brother was, was the senior. He was a dancer, I got all that from him but it wasn't like, it wasn't like he taught me is just, she just did it every day. So, I was kinda just like I do for fun and I wasn't really.
 | Pat Grey Matter | Really passionate about it, but it was because he was doing it, and I was like, hey, you know what?

So that's what usually happen then, then when you go to high school like my senior year, I was like, I'm kinda, I'm kinda good, you know, with this and I saw a B-D-C like America's best answer to come on. So, I kinda started dancing at that time and with all my, my high school friends and you know, we started doing it like, on a team, no, then I did it collegiate. I did in, in college, I started competing in college with the hip hop dancing then after that, you know, I got my degree and I was like, I told my mom wants, okay, here's, here's the degree that you wanted it, took me a lot of get it, you know, this is, this is for you, I'm done. I want to go do. I want to dance. Professional.
 | Pat Grey Matter | And she's like, oh, why you wanted to use your degree. I want to do it because I don't have that much time I want to do and now she's like, all right, I'll give you two years, I was like two years that's all I need so I got an agent I, you know, first time and I did was with block talent agency. I've been, I've been with them since, you know and you got it understand you'll hopping in the scene as Asian guy is this, you know, you get, you get cut a lot of missions, you know, they're not really looking for an Asian guy so I had to build, I had to do that brand and kind of just like mostly through but yeah, and then this, this this audition telling my lab.
 | Pat Grey Matter | They were having a big audition was like a worldwide edition but they couldn't find an Asian guy.
 | Pat Grey Matter | I was like, what has the ever done like, a Asian specific private audition? So, I got an email from my agents like, hey, you gotta, you gotta send this video, this up to know they're looking for one Asian I was like, oh, hi, well I don't know if I want to go to Vegas and dance and my underwear and strips that you gotta do, you gotta do $0.5 in the video and then I did this.

I'm license and so that was, that was the one that was paying the bills you know I wanted to do my, my dancing but then you know, I gotta make some money. So, I did both I was working at this really nice shop in the Hollywood and my audition. Tate was in the within the barber shop but this is like a lifestyle barber shop or wasn't your normal barber sent there was very like a very cater to like upper upper scale, so look nice man, of the Laski type of setting so I moved all the chairs.

 | Pat Grey Matter | So freaking plenty. So I'm recording this, this like sexy dance number and I was recording it like five, five times, five different takes and then one of the takes my coworker comes in like comes in cause he has a client and I, and I'm standing there doing this freaking number. Would that the cameras on everything and we look at each other and I was like, I didn't know you're coming in today.
 | Pat Grey Matter | He's like, oh, I have a client and I was like, filming isn't I'm done, I'll be done in like ten minutes at this like awkward, awkward look at each of the just like, why is this guy dance and she was in the freaking shop right now but if you can picture it, it's freaking delays, man.

So I audition before the show start started but then when the shell finally started cause I was still auditioning and waiting if I got it you know, cause they were like prolonging this whole thing even like my final addition was with, with Channing and it was like, okay, I think I got it, you know, but then they started the show and I wasn't casting and I was like April so then I was like, alright, well I didn't get it right? So that was like, all right, I'm good. I could let this, let this go, put it behind me and just move on.

 | Pat Grey Matter | Then the same year November on my birthday I get a call from my agent, I was in the Philippines and they're like, hey, magic might just call this, they want you to be part of the show you have to, if you decide you have to move out in two weeks. Oh, um. I'm over here and I'm gonna be here in the airport in the Philippines. Like, about to hop on a flight back to US, and I'm like, the only one yelling in the terminal lehl Hocking god, I just put.

 | Pat Grey Matter | I'm the, I'm the first and first and only Filipino I think we'll obviously in Vegas but they open London I actually help a friend of mine get on the London one to kind of represent Asians cause he's like this in the museum guy a different mine got help them get on the show and then they're opening up by stray Leah Berlin doesn't have Asian guy and I think I actually have the Asian. So we're coming up on them.

But when it was going and we were on it, it was, I never thought, I'd live a life like that was, so, it was so fun you meet so many people internationally, yeah, cause you know, Vegas is like the international hub and you just get to meet people like hang out like with like.

I'm always wanted to dance on says when the artist voice wanted to super bowl but it's kinda like you gotta, you gotta wanna I would still take it, honestly it's opportunity presents itself. I was supposed to do the Latin billboards but obviously they got postponed. But that would have been my first award show, you know. So hello. Yeah, we'll take it, Haley. I wouldn't want to do it, what am I good friends on the show he's done like so many freaking tours these dancers song the artist. And he's always telling me, hey, you gotta get on a tool and then you got to have these two at once and I was like hey, I'm trying out here I'm trying you know but you kind of have to count your blessings and, and still kinda strive for.

We let's go grab some drinks, whether we're gonna.
