It has been slow progress, but women are finally starting to find equal footing in the traditionally male-dominated landscape of sports. Westcliff men’s volleyball head coach Alex Griffiths led the Warriors to their first-ever playoff appearance in her first-year coaching at Westcliff. She is a role-model for women everywhere who want to work in sports, regardless of the gender of their athletes.
