In last week's episode with Brittany, she talked about how at one point she thought she found her "dream" job but it still wasn't making her happy. She had to take a step back and figure out what was not aligned for her, her values and what was going to really bring her joy in her role.
This is common with the folks I talk to - you think you have figured it all out but when you get there you aren't loving it. Instead of running away from a job you aren't enjoying, I challenge you to take some time to reflect what you actually don't enjoy about your current situation. Is it...
1) The company or the culture?
2) Is it your manager or your team?
3) Is it the actual role and day to day responsibilities?
Once you have figured that out, then you can figure out what you need/want to change in the next job. And you will be running towards something amazing, not just away from a job you aren't enjoying today?
