You want to know what I am?

00:00:37 Speaker 3

Ready to hit?

00:00:39 Speaker 3

That's not how I wanted.

00:00:40

To say that.

00:00:41 Speaker 2

Interesting, this could go a lot of different ways.

00:00:44 Speaker 3

I'm ready for October to hit I I concur.

00:00:51 Speaker 3

A good old brisk fall night.

00:00:54 Speaker 3

I mean, I can just feel it.

00:00:56 Speaker 3

In my bone.

00:00:57 Speaker 3

Now I love I.

00:00:58 Speaker 3

Love summer and I like to sweat, but I'm like, I'm done sweating.

00:01:02 Speaker 2

Summer has its place and its time, and that time is.

00:01:06 Speaker 3

About over, it's about over today.

00:01:09 Speaker 3

I was at Publix getting some overpriced groceries and.

00:01:15 Speaker 3

They had the candy corn on the corner and I was like.

00:01:19 Speaker 4

Can I get?

00:01:19

This time.

00:01:20 Speaker 4

Can I get the?

00:01:21 Speaker 3

Any corn?

00:01:22 Speaker 3

Or should I wait, I mean?

00:01:24 Speaker 3

I waited but.

00:01:25 Speaker 3

Best believe I'll be getting the candy corn soon.

00:01:29 Speaker 2

Well, by the time you buy it now, it's going to be the stale candy corn that's been on the.

00:01:32 Speaker 2

Shelf for two months.

00:01:34 Speaker 3

That's when I'll give it to my mom.

00:01:36 Speaker 4

Who loves a good?

00:01:37 Speaker 3

Stale candy corn?

00:01:39 Speaker 3

Ohh my gosh, love it.

00:01:41 Speaker 2

Well, tell us about our real life hunt for this week.

00:01:44 Speaker 3

This week we have Lenora and she's going to share with us a few of her spooky tails.

00:01:49 Speaker 3

So take a listen.

00:01:54 Speaker 4

For me, it started in high school.

00:01:57 Speaker 4

I was in grade 11 and we moved into an old Victorian house.

00:02:04 Speaker 4

Me and my mom, and it was built in the early 1800s and it was owned by the mayor at the time.

00:02:14 Speaker 4

So they what they did is they made it into five separate flat.

00:02:22 Speaker 4

Like apartment.

00:02:23 Speaker 4

And so we were on the main floor and my room, my mom thinks was a servers room the way that it was set up and everything.

00:02:33 Speaker 4

It was gorgeous, like high ceiling.

00:02:35 Speaker 4

It was.

00:02:35 Speaker 4

It was gorgeous, but the vibe of it was uncomfortable, to say the least.

00:02:42 Speaker 4

I remember my mom went away for a week, and I remember going on Facebook saying all alone by myself in my haunted house, and so basically what would happen is for me, my my bed was in like the middle of my room.

00:02:59 Speaker 4

It wasn't up against the wall or anything like that, and I remember my desk was on the left of it and my my my desk was on the right of it.

00:03:09 Speaker 4

My TV was on the left of it, and so I would be laying.

00:03:12 Speaker 4

Down watching TV.

00:03:14 Speaker 4

And you know, I would just feel like somebody's standing behind me, staring at me. And it was just that uncomfortable feeling.

00:03:24 Speaker 4

Like, I'm not like I couldn't turn around for the life of me like I wanted to, but it was almost like.

00:03:31 Speaker 4

I was being held down like I just could not turn around, so I I just got used to that.

00:03:38 Speaker 4

I just didn't really look into any of it really.

00:03:41 Speaker 4

And then I remember.

00:03:45 Speaker 4

My mom wanted me to go to the basement one time and then I went down the stairs and it got like a dirt floor.

00:03:52 Speaker 4

It wasn't like a finished basement because it was so old and I remember getting down to the bottom step and I'm like, there's no way.

00:04:00 Speaker 4

Like I couldn't even get off the step that my brand right backed up and like I'm not going in there.

00:04:05 Speaker 4

I didn't see anything, but it's just that general like heaviness of the energy there for me. I've always been able to pick up on energy, including people's energy as well. So like if somebody.

00:04:21 Speaker 4

You know, thought I I I know that they're sad, even if they say they're not or something's on their mind.

00:04:28 Speaker 4

So yeah.

00:04:28 Speaker 4

So the energy is just too much and.

00:04:32 Speaker 4

Our kitchen had, like one of those folding doors for their for the pantry, and my mom would always take doors off the closet and put up lace.

00:04:44 Speaker 4

And so she took the door off, and we had a cat, and our cat would always go crazy in the kitchen.

00:04:50 Speaker 4

Like absolutely wild.

00:04:53 Speaker 4

And I never really thought anything of.

00:04:55 Speaker 4

It, But I'll tell you more about that later on in my bedroom.

00:05:00 Speaker 4

I have like a a sleigh bed, so think of like a Santa sleigh.

00:05:06 Speaker 4

You know how it's got like that room at the bottom like the foot of the bed.

00:05:11 Speaker 4

So I.

00:05:12 Speaker 4

Even now, to this day, when I sleep, I've always my whole life, I've always cuddled my blankets, like close up to my chest.

00:05:20 Speaker 4

I've always been that way, even in the summer, even in the heat, I always have like blankets, like just cuddled right up tight in my chest.

00:05:29 Speaker 4

Well, I woke up one morning and my blanket and my sheep.

00:05:38 Speaker 4

I I woke up because I was cold.

00:05:40 Speaker 4

I was chilly and I noticed my blanket wasn't on me and I'm I'm looking for and I couldn't feel it anywhere because I didn't open my eyes and just looking.

00:05:48 Speaker 4

Like feeling it around and I couldn't find it and I opened my eyes and my blanket and my sheet was tucked so tightly at the foot of my bed that I had to stand on my bed and pull it up to use that much force to take it out.

00:06:08 Speaker 4

So that that that creeps me out too long.

00:06:13 Speaker 4

Because I'm just like I'm a very light sleeper.

00:06:17 Speaker 4

So like normally, you know, just like I thought I would wake up to.

00:06:22 Speaker 4

And so the fact that I slept through this, you know, it just blew my mind kind of just.

00:06:28 Speaker 4

Tried to ignore, ignore that we only lived there.

00:06:32 Speaker 4

I think six months or so and then we moved.

00:06:35 Speaker 4

I did know when we moved in.

00:06:37 Speaker 4

Like the owners told us, the history of when it was built and that there was a mayor living there, but I'd never fully looked further into it.

00:06:46 Speaker 4

The interesting thing though very interesting, is that a few years later I was working at a hotel and we got a new employee and he was a ghost hunter.

00:07:01 Speaker 4

And so we were all in employee room like us and a few employees and he's like, alright.

00:07:06 Speaker 4

Like, you know, like, let's hear all your ghost stories.

00:07:09 Speaker 4

So I'm telling the story of this house, and then my co-worker that is in the same department with me that I work with every day.

00:07:18 Speaker 4

He starts telling stories about her toes.

00:07:21 Speaker 4

And the the general location of the area and we can pointed.

00:07:28 Speaker 4

But when I when me and my mom moved out of that flat, him and his partner moved in in the exact same flat and like it just it was crazy.

00:07:39 Speaker 4

This was years later and I'm just like.

00:07:41 Speaker 4

What are the odds like?

00:07:42 Speaker 4

What are the actual odds and this and hearing his stories confirmed my stories.

00:07:48 Speaker 4

So when I was telling of you about the pantry in the kitchen.

00:07:52 Speaker 4

In when he moved in while the you know, they put their folding doors back up in the pantry and his cat would always go wild in the kitchen also.

00:08:03 Speaker 4

And my cat was also wild in the kitchen.

00:08:06 Speaker 4

Nowhere else really.

00:08:07 Speaker 4

Like sometimes around the basement, but normally it was just like the kitchen.

00:08:12 Speaker 4

Placement area of the rest of the house like they're chill.

00:08:15 Speaker 4

And so one day he heard the door in the pantry opening and closing.

00:08:21 Speaker 4

And so he just assumed that it was his cat messing around with the door because it's one of those fools of both doors.

00:08:27 Speaker 4

And so he comes in to move the cat and the cat's not there. And so I'm like, OK. And then his partner was cleaning one day. And I don't know how. I didn't.

00:08:44 Speaker 4

Even notice it.

00:08:45 Speaker 4

But I think because I just like.

00:08:47 Speaker 4

Ignored the basement door for so long, but he said his partner was scrubbing the basement door and he found like tiny little swastikas curves on the inside of the.

00:09:00 Speaker 4

Were so happy I didn't see that when I was sleeping, so I also saw an orb there as well, which was pretty cool.

00:09:09 Speaker 4

I've never seen one since, but.

00:09:11 Speaker 4

It was. It was.

00:09:12 Speaker 4

So strange because like you see them in photographs and you're just like, oh, it's, you know, it's just like dust or whatever like that.

00:09:20 Speaker 4

But it was moving and I I can't even describe it.

00:09:25 Speaker 4

It was just like.

00:09:27 Speaker 4

This tiny little ball of light, and it was I kidding in maybe the size of a marble it was very small and it was in our living room.

00:09:41 Speaker 4

And it just kind of like went away.

00:09:44 Speaker 4

And then when I told my mom about it, you know, like, I saw this org.

00:09:49 Speaker 4

She's like, ohh, she's just like, well, I wasn't sure if it was because I was sick or not, but I saw a child like I saw a little girl.

00:09:57 Speaker 4

In her room.

00:09:59 Speaker 4

And I I never questioned that she was sick.

00:10:03 Speaker 4

But I do believe when people are sick, I know they say, like people who lose mate and stuff.

00:10:07 Speaker 4

But I don't know you know what you see when you see it, right?

00:10:10 Speaker 4

I I believe there, especially with everything that I experienced in that health.

00:10:15 Speaker 4

So yeah.

00:10:16 Speaker 4

So the fact that it was confirmed years later.

00:10:18 Speaker 4

My my coworker just blew my mind.

00:10:22 Speaker 4

Also working at the hotel.

00:10:24 Speaker 4

I had a few experiences at the hotel as well and same thing. I didn't look up the history, but we we are in. I'm in Halifax, NS and so we had.

00:10:36 Speaker 4

We had an.

00:10:36 Speaker 4

Explosion in the early 1900s in the harbor and it killed thousands, injured thousands of people.

00:10:44 Speaker 4

And this is like a like a really old port city.

00:10:49 Speaker 4

And so the the hotel that I was working in was downtown and it would have been in the area that it would have been impacted by that explosion.

00:10:58 Speaker 4

So the the biggest thing that I remember in the hotel.

00:11:03 Speaker 4

I was.

00:11:04 Speaker 4

I was in a I was cleaning up the order and I was doing housekeeping at the time and I was cleaning the boardroom and the lights are the dimming lights, so you don't flick them on you.

00:11:15 Speaker 4

You turn them up and down and so.

00:11:19 Speaker 4

For all the.

00:11:20 Speaker 4

They have serveries attached to them.

00:11:23 Speaker 4

So the servers can get their, you know, drinks and food and ready and come out through the boardroom and.

00:11:29 Speaker 4

So I'm backing away and the lights went off.

00:11:34 Speaker 4

They didn't get down.

00:11:35 Speaker 4

They went off and then they went on and then they went off and then they went on and then they went off.

00:11:42 Speaker 4

And then they went on.

00:11:43 Speaker 4

And I'm just standing here with this vacuum in my hands, looking around, and I yell out.

00:11:49 Speaker 4

I'm like, back there because I thought, OK, somebody front in the servery because they can control lights in the bathroom in the servery.

00:11:56 Speaker 4

So I go back in the servery nobody's in the servery.

00:12:00 Speaker 4

I checked the hall.

00:12:01 Speaker 4

Nobody's down the hall.

00:12:02 Speaker 4

I checked the.

00:12:03 Speaker 4

Offices. Nobody's in the offices.

00:12:07 Speaker 4

Nothing outside sources could have touched those lights and so that that was a big thing that I will never forget.

00:12:16 Speaker 4

Like I said cause they're.

00:12:17 Speaker 4

They're the dimming lights, right?

00:12:19 Speaker 4

Like, you know, you have to switch them off and on.

00:12:23 Speaker 4

Following the hotel the I don't.

00:12:28 Speaker 4

I don't even know what to call it, but this this figure that I felt in the House.

00:12:34 Speaker 4

I don't know if it followed me, I don't know if it's the same thing or not, but a few years later we moved to just another house.

00:12:43 Speaker 4

I don't.

00:12:43 Speaker 4

I don't think it had any history to it or anything like that, but I had.

00:12:48 Speaker 4

I had this dream.

00:12:50 Speaker 4

And I my whole life, I've had very vivid dreams.

00:12:54 Speaker 4

And so like, there's dreams that I remember from childhood.

00:12:57 Speaker 4

It's just like they're so vivid.

00:12:59 Speaker 4

They're so real.

00:13:01 Speaker 4

But anyway, so we're in this.

00:13:03 Speaker 4

We're in this House this few years later.

00:13:06 Speaker 4

And I I'm asleep.

00:13:08 Speaker 4

And so I'm I'm dreaming.

00:13:11 Speaker 4

But I'm in my house and I'm on the balcony outside and live on a main road and I look across the street.

00:13:21 Speaker 4

There's no traffic and there's a man walking up the street.

00:13:26 Speaker 4

Like I can't see his full details, but he's he's large, he's tall.

00:13:31 Speaker 4

He's a big man.

00:13:32 Speaker 4

And the the energy that I felt from him was that kind of big heavy energy that I felt in that house.

00:13:39 Speaker 4

I felt it a few times in the hotel as well, which is why I thought maybe this thing is following me around because now I'm at a new house and I'm still feeling this energy.

00:13:48 Speaker 4

So anyway, so I'm.

00:13:49 Speaker 4

I'm watching him.

00:13:52 Speaker 4

Walk up the street and I I feel like, you know, like it doesn't feel right.

00:13:58 Speaker 4

Next thing I know.

00:14:00 Speaker 4

I'm back in my room.

00:14:02 Speaker 4

I'm sleeping.

00:14:03 Speaker 4

My eyes are closed, but it's like I could see through my eyelids because I'm.

00:14:08 Speaker 4

I'm in my bed and he's standing at the foot of my bed, staring at me, almost thinking like.

00:14:16 Speaker 4

I don't know if it was just trying to think if I was awake trying to figure out if I was awake or not, but I'm just like.

00:14:22 Speaker 4

Paralyzed could not move and.

00:14:27 Speaker 4

I could feel him poke my leg.

00:14:30 Speaker 4

I felt the Pope, the poke is what woke me up because I could physically feel it.

00:14:35 Speaker 4

And then I woke up and he was gone.

00:14:38 Speaker 4

And that was that.

00:14:39 Speaker 4

So I I don't know about this, this man in in another place once again.

00:14:46 Speaker 4

And the place that I had moved after that.

00:14:49 Speaker 4

I really didn't.

00:14:50 Speaker 4

Experience a whole lot, and so I thought.

00:14:54 Speaker 4

Like OK, like.

00:14:56 Speaker 4

It's gone.

00:14:56 Speaker 4

I don't have to worry about it anymore.

00:14:59 Speaker 4

The place that we were in, like I.

00:15:00 Speaker 4

Said didn't not much happen.

00:15:02 Speaker 4

Sometimes I could hear like scratching under our bed in the middle of the night.

00:15:08 Speaker 4

And I thought it was maybe a cat or something.

00:15:13 Speaker 4

You had two cats at the time and there would be no cats under the bed.

00:15:16 Speaker 4

There's times where I felt like the cats were jumping on the beds, coming up to sleep, and there's there's no cats there, so some of.

00:15:26 Speaker 4

And cat like that and then we moved again.

00:15:31 Speaker 4

So in the place that I'm at right now, this is where I've been the longest.

00:15:35 Speaker 4

Now, within your seven-year, not a whole lot has happened here either we, me and my son both can feel different energies here, but they don't feel.

00:15:47 Speaker 4

Like big or heavy or threatening or anything like that.

00:15:50 Speaker 4

I will say, though, that we have two full baths.

00:15:55 Speaker 4

And I was taking a shower one day and my partner at the time was taking a shower in the other bathroom because in our bedroom.

00:16:04 Speaker 4

And so I get out of the shower and the first thing I do is I open the door to help clear out the fog.

00:16:12 Speaker 4

I opened the door and I start wiping off the mirror and I could see what I thought was my partner walking.

00:16:20 Speaker 4

Into the kitchen.

00:16:22 Speaker 4

Because he was the same height.

00:16:25 Speaker 4

Like quite tall.

00:16:26 Speaker 4

So I start talking.

00:16:28 Speaker 4

I can't even remember what I was saying, but I started talking to him and he's not responding to me.

00:16:35 Speaker 4

And of course I'm.

00:16:35 Speaker 4

Like, oh, this man, his death, he needs hearing aids.

00:16:38 Speaker 4

So I go listen and he's not there.

00:16:41 Speaker 4

And I'm like, oh, well, I didn't see him walk back the other way.

00:16:45 Speaker 4

So he's not in the living room.

00:16:47 Speaker 4

He's not in the office.

00:16:48 Speaker 4

So I'm like, OK, well, that's strange.

00:16:51 Speaker 4

So I walked talking to her bedroom and he's still in in our bathroom, in the bedroom.

00:16:56 Speaker 4

And I'm like, OK, maybe I just didn't see him walk past, so I told him, I said why, you know, did you hear what I said?

00:17:02 Speaker 4

Like, he didn't respond to me.

00:17:04 Speaker 4

And he's like.

00:17:05 Speaker 4

I'm like when you're out in the kitchen and he's like, no, he's like I just.

00:17:09 Speaker 4

Got out of the shower.

00:17:10 Speaker 4

I wasn't in the.

00:17:12 Speaker 4

But shortly after that and by shortly, I wanna say within a week my friend and her son came over for a visit.

00:17:22 Speaker 4

Her play date with my son and they were young.

00:17:25 Speaker 4

How old were they?

00:17:26 Speaker 4

I want to say they were around.

00:17:29 Speaker 4

4 three or four?

00:17:31 Speaker 4

Yeah, probably.

00:17:31 Speaker 4

Around 4:00 or five.

00:17:33 Speaker 4

And the kids were in the living room.

00:17:36 Speaker 4

We have this long hallway going down to the bedroom.

00:17:41 Speaker 4

And her son wanted to go in my son's room, but he looked at his mom and said, I want to go and Gavin's room.

00:17:51 Speaker 4

But I don't want to pass the scary man.

00:17:55 Speaker 4

At that point, I honestly I I completely forgot about what I saw.

00:18:01 Speaker 4

Like a week before, I just had to completely out of my mind that when he said that I was just like ohh right, that happened.

00:18:12 Speaker 4

I was going down memory lane with my niece there not too long ago and I completely forgot about my experience out in Jasper, Jasper, AB.

00:18:23 Speaker 4

I worked there for a couple of months, not too long, so I started getting homesick.

00:18:28 Speaker 4

I now I didn't fully look into the history either, so it was just rumors that were being told to me.

00:18:33 Speaker 4

But we worked there like little log cabin.

00:18:37 Speaker 4

It's really cute and apparently way back when it used to be a Chinese concentration camp and so I was told before going and like ohh, some of the cabins are haunted.

00:18:51 Speaker 4

And I'm just like, OK, sure.

00:18:54 Speaker 4

And one of the one of the cabins.

00:18:56 Speaker 4

Was like a lot of celebrities used to stay at these cabins and Marilyn Monroe.

00:19:03 Speaker 4

Stayed in.

00:19:05 Speaker 4

I can't remember if she came more than once.

00:19:07 Speaker 4

But there's one cabin that she stayed in that I remember.

00:19:11 Speaker 4

We went in to clean and there was a couple of us, so there was two people in one bedroom each, so there was there was four of us in total.

00:19:22 Speaker 4

And two, two of them left to go get supplies, and because it's on like a large it's it's.

00:19:31 Speaker 4

Got like a lot of acreage.

00:19:32 Speaker 4

They use golf carts to get around to get the supply and so.

00:19:38 Speaker 4

Me and my partner were in the bedroom and the other two they.

00:19:42 Speaker 4

Had to leave.

00:19:44 Speaker 4

To get more supplies.

00:19:46 Speaker 4

And so.

00:19:48 Speaker 4

Were in the room those two left the one that I was working with, went to the bathroom.

00:19:54 Speaker 4

So I was by myself and a parent hit my leg.

00:19:59 Speaker 4

Like somebody threw a pen at me.

00:20:02 Speaker 4

So I turned around expecting it to be my other team members coming back and I thought they were just playing a prank, like just throwing something at me just to let me know that they were back, but they weren't back.

00:20:13 Speaker 4

Nobody was there, and my other coworker was still in the bathroom, so.

00:20:19 Speaker 4

I thought that was interesting, so that was that was the cabin that Marilyn Monroe stayed at.

00:20:25 Speaker 4

And then there was another one that I actually my coworker witnessed with me.

00:20:32 Speaker 4

And it's a very, very small cabin.

00:20:36 Speaker 4

It literally was like you walk in.

00:20:39 Speaker 4

That is right there.

00:20:40 Speaker 4

The dressers to the right of the wall.

00:20:43 Speaker 4

There's a tiny little walking space to the bathroom.

00:20:47 Speaker 4

And not there super small.

00:20:50 Speaker 4

This was at the point before we were open.

00:20:52 Speaker 4

We were getting the cabins ready to be open for the season.

00:20:56 Speaker 4

And so we walk in and we hear a lot of banging and rattling in the bathroom.

00:21:02 Speaker 4

And so we both look at each other and we look at our paper because if there's the speed maintenance being worked on in the cabins, it was supposed to be on our list.

00:21:11 Speaker 4

So we checked our list and we didn't see that there was supposed to be maintenance.

00:21:16 Speaker 4

Say hello. Somebody here.

00:21:18 Speaker 4

We don't hear anything and we look at each other like we know we heard this.

00:21:24 Speaker 4

Nobody's responding.

00:21:26 Speaker 4

And we're both of us.

00:21:27 Speaker 4

We're just kind of speechless because it was so loud.

00:21:30 Speaker 4

I've never heard anything so loud with nobody being there before, but it it literally it sounded like tools.

00:21:38 Speaker 4

I'm like the toilet or the tub or something.

00:21:42 Speaker 4

Working on metal or ceramic and going and go in the bathroom and nobody's there.

00:21:48 Speaker 4

They go outside like there's nobody in the area, even outside, because the window was open.

00:21:54 Speaker 4

But there was nowhere in that area that would have been able to make noise like that.

00:21:59 Speaker 4

So like I said, my coworker was there with me and.

00:22:03 Speaker 4

It was funny because like we both just looked at each other like we we know we just heard that like, both of us heard that.

00:22:10 Speaker 4

We're not going crazy, and sure enough, like, there's nobody in, nobody in the room.

00:22:15 Speaker 4

So that's that's.

00:22:16 Speaker 4

What I can think of right now, I've always had like I've always had, like, just little things happen and.

00:22:24 Speaker 4

Normally I I kind of just like brush it off at this point.

00:22:29 Speaker 4

Even back then I try.

00:22:30 Speaker 4

I try not to look into it too much because I find if I look into it.

00:22:33 Speaker 4

Too much I.

00:22:34 Speaker 4

Just like price myself off and get scared.

00:22:37 Speaker 4

But yeah, I I did have one.

00:22:42 Speaker 4

I want to say.

00:22:44 Speaker 4

A physical connection to a spirit last year, like I've always been a very spiritual person.

00:22:51 Speaker 4

And I've always wanted to be able to connect your spirit.

00:22:55 Speaker 4

I have practiced with pendulum and doubting.

00:22:58 Speaker 4

Well, but I've always wanted to be able to connect.

00:23:03 Speaker 4

I guess you would say it would be telepathically.

00:23:05 Speaker 4

The way mediums do.

00:23:08 Speaker 4

So I I did have an experience happening like that last year.

00:23:13 Speaker 4

I haven't had anything happen since, but it was still like pretty, pretty damn cool.

00:23:19 Speaker 4

I was going on Facebook marketplace looking for a pair of boots for the winter.

00:23:24 Speaker 4

I put in, you know, winter boots, my size and the very first ad that popped up was exactly my size, which I thought was funny because it's.

00:23:33 Speaker 4

Half the size like 7 1/2, you don't see 7 1/2 or half sizes very often certain size. There were four I'll boots which are expensive too. Selling for $10.

00:23:45 Speaker 4

$10.00 So I'm looking at the ad. I'm like, what's the glitch like? I'm looking at the picture. I'm like they they look like they're in really good condition.

00:23:54 Speaker 4

So I was like, alright.

00:23:56 Speaker 4

So I I messaged them and I went to go meet up with them and.

00:24:01 Speaker 4

This man.

00:24:03 Speaker 4

He was a he was a single man and he had a or a single father.

00:24:08 Speaker 4

I should say.

00:24:09 Speaker 4

He had a daughter that was, I think she was around 7:00 or.

00:24:13 Speaker 4

And he was running late, so we, me and my son, we were just, like, waiting for him and.

00:24:20 Speaker 4

I was thinking about anything but I was just like, no, they they say like something you need just said just, you know, look around, wait for him, be patient.

00:24:29 Speaker 4

So he he would be like 15 minutes late.

00:24:31 Speaker 4

But I'm like whatever like.

00:24:33 Speaker 4

Just let it be so.

00:24:36 Speaker 4

When I when I saw him.

00:24:39 Speaker 4

It was almost like a sense of similarity like I know this person, but I know I've never met this person.

00:24:46 Speaker 4

I don't know.

00:24:46 Speaker 4

Like sometimes you just meet people and you're you feel like you've known them your whole life.

00:24:51 Speaker 4

So that's the kind of energy I had with him.

00:24:54 Speaker 4

And so I thought it was interesting.

00:24:57 Speaker 4

I didn't really think about it too much.

00:24:58 Speaker 4

I just wanted to get the boots and go.

00:25:00 Speaker 4

So we go out in the backyard and his daughter and her friends go in the in the backyard to play in the swing that because the very back of their yard, which is quite a distance like they wouldn't have been able to hear what me and him were talking about.

00:25:19 Speaker 4

So anyway.

00:25:20 Speaker 4

So he goes inside.

00:25:23 Speaker 4

Comes out with the boots and we just start chatting.

00:25:25 Speaker 4

I try to boot fun, I walk around and.

00:25:29 Speaker 4

In my mind.

00:25:30 Speaker 4

I keep hearing I'm always here.

00:25:34 Speaker 4

He's a big softie.

00:25:36 Speaker 4

I keep hearing like, oh, he looks like a tough guy, but he's he's a saucy, like a big cubby bear.

00:25:45 Speaker 4

And I'm just like.

00:25:47 Speaker 4

Trying to ignore it from like I why would I be thinking of these things like I don't know this person and so then.

00:25:57 Speaker 4

We're just talking about life in general and I bring up that I was a single single mom who's like, yeah, I'm the.

00:26:04 Speaker 4

I'm a single God and in my mind that was just like your wife passed away and she's here.

00:26:11 Speaker 4

And I didn't say anything like, yeah, my wife passed away.

00:26:15 Speaker 4

I just.

00:26:16 Speaker 4

I kept everything to myself because I just it.

00:26:19 Speaker 4

Like I said, it was my first time happening and I was just so I didn't want to bring it up.

00:26:24 Speaker 4

Throw him off or anything like that.

00:26:26 Speaker 4

Like just cut to myself and I'm just like, alright, like I'm going to give this man a hug.

00:26:31 Speaker 4

Like if I really feel like he needs a hug and for me it's just like I feel like hugs are just so powerful they can heal, they can do so much healing.

00:26:42 Speaker 4

And so I just felt that.

00:26:44 Speaker 4

1st I'm like I gotta give him a hug.

00:26:46 Speaker 4

So, you know, like we we hugged and said goodbye.

00:26:50 Speaker 4

Start driving away and the whole time I'm driving away, all I hear is like I never leave him.

00:26:57 Speaker 4

I never leave him like I'm always there.

00:26:59 Speaker 4

I'm so proud of him.

00:27:00 Speaker 4

I'm so proud of my daughter.

00:27:03 Speaker 4

And she kept saying that, you know.

00:27:04 Speaker 4

Like she look.

00:27:06 Speaker 4

He looks like a tough guy.

00:27:07 Speaker 4

He looks like a tough guy, but he's not.

00:27:10 Speaker 4

He'll give the.

00:27:10 Speaker 4

Shirt off his back.

00:27:12 Speaker 4

I I couldn't ignore it anymore, so I called him and there was no answer.

00:27:16 Speaker 4

So I left a voicemail and I said, listen, I'm sorry.

00:27:19 Speaker 4

I know this is really random, I'm like, but I really need to talk to.

00:27:22 Speaker 4

You about your wife can.

00:27:23 Speaker 4

You please give me a call back when you can.

00:27:27 Speaker 4

So he called me back later that night and I told him.

00:27:31 Speaker 4

Yeah, I said listen, like, this is never happened to me before, but I wanted to share with you what I was experiencing around.

00:27:38 Speaker 4

You and your daughter and I told them I'm like this boy came over me and just telling me that.

00:27:44 Speaker 4

You know that she's always there with you and that she's proud of you and your daughter and that, you know you'd give your shirt off the back for somebody else.

00:27:53 Speaker 4

And all of these things.

00:27:54 Speaker 4

And he's like.

00:27:55 Speaker 4

I'm like, I'm sorry if this is like too much.

00:27:58 Speaker 4

He's like, you know what he's like.

00:27:59 Speaker 4

It's not.

00:28:00 Speaker 4

And he's like and.

00:28:00 Speaker 4

And I'm really not surprised that you called, he said.

00:28:03 Speaker 4

Because when you left, my daughter ran over and said, Daddy, that woman gave me goosebumps the whole time she was here, and I could feel like, you know, she she.

00:28:15 Speaker 4

Made me feel like money was here.

00:28:17 Speaker 4

That was really validating because I I felt like I was going out of my mind like I was just like.

00:28:23 Speaker 4

Why, you know?

00:28:25 Speaker 4

I know most people have this inner dialogue so like why am I telling myself all these things like I know this isn't like obviously it's my inner voice but like I wouldn't be saying these random things about this person, I don't know.

00:28:38 Speaker 4

So it was.

00:28:40 Speaker 4

It was definitely something.

00:28:41 Speaker 4

So when he called me back and told me that that just meaning feel.

00:28:46 Speaker 2

A lot better.

00:28:48 Speaker 4

Like I said, nothing.

00:28:49 Speaker 4

Nothing else really has happened since, but I keep working on, you know, my spirituality and trying to be as open as I can.

00:28:58 Speaker 4

And I do believe but.

00:29:01 Speaker 4

When our loved ones pass like I do, feel like they're always with us and we always have people that are with us watching us and guiding us.

00:29:15 Speaker 2

What a personal connection.

00:29:18 Speaker 2

And so many of the stories.

00:29:19 Speaker 2

That she shared I.

00:29:20 Speaker 2

Mean the one about the guy and he ended up living in the house.

00:29:25 Speaker 2

You know, like when things like that happened.

00:29:27 Speaker 2

It's not a coincidence, you know, it's just too crazy to be.

00:29:30 Speaker 3

And I think also.

00:29:31 Speaker 3

With someone like this, it's obvious that she has some kind of connect.

00:29:36 Speaker 3

And to just like the spiritual realm, if that there's no way that this many different things happens to the same people without having some sort of connection, whether and I think by the end she does mention, you know, like she's interested in that medium ship, probably because she has felt so many connections and now they make more sense.

00:29:56 Speaker 3

To her, I just really enjoyed her stories and talking with her.

00:29:59 Speaker 3

It was so funny.

00:30:00 Speaker 3

I was telling you, you know, we kind of got our our time zones mixed up and she's from Canada.

00:30:06 Speaker 3

And I thought she was from the East Coast, and so bless her heart.

00:30:10 Speaker 3

She had to get up really early and.

00:30:11 Speaker 3

Do the interview.

00:30:12 Speaker 2

Ohh no.

00:30:14 Speaker 3

But what a great story.

00:30:15 Speaker 3

And if you have a story, we would love for you to share it with us.

00:30:18 Speaker 3

I won't make you do it at the crack of dawn.

00:30:21 Speaker 2
