Shadow Work, Intuition, and Botanical Magic with Amy Blackthorn

In this episode of Coffee and Divination, I’m joined by Amy Blackthorn: award-winning author, professional intuitive, Witch, aromatherapist, and longtime teacher whose work brings together magical plants, horticulture, divination, and traditional Witchcraft. Amy is the author of numerous books, including Blackthorn’s Botanical Magic, Sacred Smoke, Blackthorn’s Protection Magic, and her newest book, Blackthorn’s Botanical Shadow Work. It was lovely to have Amy to talk about spirit connection and intuition on a number of levels...

We begin by talking about Amy’s early experiences with intuition and divination, before moving into her lifelong relationship with plants and the ideas behind Blackthorn’s Botanical Shadow Work.

We also talk about spirit communication within a larger web of relationships, the physical and ecological realities of the plants we work with, and why magical relationships don’t need to be disconnected from the ordinary world around us.
