Speaker 1:

podcast. Yeah, it's a different one. So just this week he said there's only three of us on our team and his team is him, his brother, jason Cockrock, jason Cockrock, jason Cockrock. Right, we're recording now. Yeah, yeah, episode 1826. Is it feels like 26? Overall, I don't know why I do that To find a new starting line, because it's irrelevant as well. No one's really asked yeah, I don't. Yeah, I'd never know. He said I've never listen podcast and they've gone.

Speaker 1:

Welcome back to episode 137. I've been a car, yeah, so, yeah, theo Von does it. Yeah, that is a reason to do it Because he is class. Yeah, but we're not here to talk about Theo Von, though. Are we boys? No, we're here to talk about the fuck started giving you hosting rights. Yeah, here's the elders brother boys and we get it.

Speaker 1:

Mate, you've been to the open. Respect your elders. Yeah, yeah, you're at the open heart and Tristan's wrapped in the madri. You can get some sponsors for this. Yeah, lads, if Madri want to send us crazy beers for doing what we do making, do that. If you have to choose one beer in the world, that was to sponsor this pod and we can supply. So I'm a problem. That's a decent idea on the weekend, nice, yeah, I said you put me on the spot there.

Speaker 1:

I went to Leon. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we answer star upon star star. Oh, sir, it's a, it's a, it's a faithful one in it. Yeah, keep simple in it. Foster's Corona, mate Corona. If you were, if you were, a beer jack, you'd be Foster's a carling mate. You just bog standard guy. Yeah, bog standard guy. But everyone enjoys it. They don't want to know. No, I think what he's trying to say is that everyone enjoys him. Is that what you're trying to make? No, I meant they like carling. You're wrong. Anyway, the correct answer on top is Cronenberg 1664 Blanc. Oh, yeah, we had that beer, I pray ski mate in Val d'Oeur. Val d'Oeur, it is unbelievable.

Speaker 1:

I don't think it says Blanc on it. It does, it does. It's a Blanc, it is white. I don't know. No, yeah, it does mean white jack, but I think it's Blanc because it means blonde in French. Get on it, lads. Oh yeah, it's not. So, it's not so, it's not white. No, it's Cronenberg Blanc. You're like, is it Blanc? Yeah, well, that's right. Anyway, we've got golf, yeah, right.

Speaker 1:

So first thing I want to touch on is Brooks Capcom's one, again right, which I love to see, because I love Brooks and he's a winner and I like to see the winners win, but does it mean the more I watch it now, the more like, does it mean anything? I thought that I did. It's like I've seen him win, but I'm watching it, thinking, yeah, but every time I had that thought, I had that exact thought. When I saw it yesterday on Instagram short, I was like, oh, he's won, but that was that. That was it. That was my only thought. I wasn't like, oh, buzz in, I'm going to watch how he won. How'd he win it?

Speaker 1:

To be fair, though, there's anyone here actually go, oh, yeah, fair dude, he's one that if, like JT, wins a standard PJ Tournament with a weakest field no, I tell you what they do, what I do, though I don't take note of what they've won, but I take note of how many times they've won. So if JT could win this year, like, oh, he's a multiple winner this year, that's fucking great. If you win multiple times on the PJ Tournament, you're going to win this year, that's fucking great. If you win multiple times on the PJ Tour or whatever, regardless of what the actual championship is, I'm like, ok, now this guy's won two times on tour, or three times on tour, winning once Taylor Goucher's won something like three times. I couldn't get any less. I couldn't get any less.

Speaker 1:

That he's won a live tour, that's an impressive though. Yeah, that's. What I would say is, is Brooks is a proper alpha. I mean, like he's. He's just I think all he's asked about was winning whenever he plays and that's all he can do is win on live. So I still think it's it's impressive.

Speaker 1:

But, yeah, I think times he points I don't really care, to be honest, miss Taylor's middle names, thinking, no, it's a no, it's like my. But you know what? Yeah, yeah, um, he won. He won the fadx cup equivalent, didn't he like? He won the eighty million roll? Yeah, he won the. He won the city, is that what is it? But he won the roll. But, um, what I? What? I don't? Um, yeah, we don't care because we like the PJ talk.

Speaker 1:

But I bet to people who like live, they they think it's even better than when the PJ talk, don't they? It's like, well, yeah, I suppose so, no, it's not because it's not, it's not as strong a field. They've gone there for the money. Let's be like, like, yeah, that's the truth of it that the reason they're there, well, they claim to want to play less golf, have more time with the families, and they earn the same well, a lot more money. So doesn't matter which way you dress it, they're gonna make out that it's a great achievement, and this, that and the other, but the end of the day, it's just like yeah, this is a hell of a pay packet for some.

Speaker 1:

The only thing it does for some, like Taylor Gooch, who I haven't fucking heard of, to be honest with you, before. He joined live and won, like, three events. Well, you've got one mate, so you heard of it. No, that's shocking. That is shocking. Banta that's that's how he's got his name on the headlines is because he's won in live. So the only thing it does to him as he goes yeah, this is a good move. Like I'm 18 million dollars richer. Probably he'd be lucky if he earned for the 180,000 on the tour. No, I, the only thing you can expect from he has won a lot in, like you know, he's won. He's won a lot of tournaments against Bryson Garcia, and all that to be fair to him.

Speaker 1:

What I always think, yeah about these is that for me, there are. There's three players from live I would take from the top back of the PJ Tour and I think, as it's right now today, they can still compete. Possibly for would be Cam Smith, brooks and Bryson. And then you've got DJ, who would probably up his game, but then per plays at Taylor Gooch. I think they might only be playing as well as he is because he's in a comfort zone, he's in, he's in a no, I know they have that drop at the end, but like that is for, like the, the people no one had ever heard of coming on and just getting it. Like that was just the third, the space of 48 plays in it. He's never gonna, I don't know, like he doesn't really put. He doesn't perform in majors, does he? We've never seen him perform in a major or even on the PJ Tour, so it's hard to say that he would be. He would be able to carry that on to the PJ Tour. But Brooks, cam Smith and Bryson are the three that I would be like. I don't know if DJ could do it now. To be honest with you, I don't think DJ has openly said that he's gone there to play less golf and when we watched him in the open this year. He was so disinterested and I mean, that is that is. That is character. Yeah, he is just a laid-back guy. But watching him play his golf I was just like, yeah, this guy's. He didn't look to me like he was really first about the golf. He was just like, look, I've already made my like my retirement pot is there. I don't particularly, I'll carry on playing the game because I'm still relevant, but as soon as he becomes not relevant, I can't see him like carrying on, like it is just like. I'm with you. If there's any players that I'd welcome back on to the tour, it's those three. Bryson you should watch Bryson's YouTube. If any get a chance, it's actually.

Speaker 1:

I'd actually, I'd actually have Patrick Reedback. I'd love to see him back on tour. No way, you do. That's. Why does that? Captain America, baby, yeah, why, you know? A second, just finish your sentence. Why would you have Patrick Reedback on tour? Because he gets the people going. He does, you know, I actually don't. I don't disagree with him. I think it'd be hilarious. I've Patrick Reed on tour.

Speaker 1:

He get loads of grief for a start and that would be well funny, like when I'm stretching a Sunday and it can't put something. It would be great. The only way, the only way I'd like to see him back on tour and to see the grief is if he's visibly affected by it. So, yeah, in the same way like someone's being bullied, I'd like to see him back on tour. If he looks like he's close to tears because people are giving him a hard time, thing is the guy couldn't care any less. The guy is you can't like, you can't dent his exterior. So no, you can fucking stay on like to remember.

Speaker 1:

He was it 20, 2016. He had the one toast again in the masses in 2018. Yeah, that is like for me. If I was Rory, I would be pissed, and then the guy seeing as well. I respect him for that alone. The one thing I do give him, one thing I will give him, is when we were at a high, like Liam and you were just going gone paddy, gone paddy and him and his caddy were laughing. I thought at least they do have some ounce of humor. Yeah, I tell you what, of all the players that we watched off that 15th tee, his was one of the most impressive. I think that Adrian Moronk was probably the one that went. Wow, but I loved his tee shot. Yeah, he's a massive go, doesn't he?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you get the opportunity now, say the fans Patrick Reed, bryson, de Chambault, brooks Kepke and Cam Smith want back on the tour. And it goes to a Twitter poll. What do you think? The fans vote them back on to the tour or do they tell them where to go? So what, say again. So if they had the opportunity to come back on tour now and the determining factor was a Twitter poll are they allowed back on yes or no? And it was strictly golf fans who had to vote, so there was no strings of chat. It was like we're not talking about the money or the contracts, we're just talking about do you want these persons like us back on tour? I'll put it on the podcast and see what we get from there.

Speaker 1:

I don't think that's quite the same scope, is it? I'd say yeah. For me I would say yeah. But if I was to make an assumption on what other people would put, I think it would be closer than we think. But if you would add a third section and it said, yes, but they have to do a fourth it that the fans get to choose it would be like I think 100% of the fans would be like, yeah, let's choose them. Do you know what I mean? And the fans got to choose what they did. What would they do? But it would have to be the fourth. It would be that of the four of them, only two are allowed back in. But they have to fight each other. You've got Brooks and Bryson coming on. I don't know. Patty Reid, camps, west getting better, didn't he? My guy's getting absolutely smashed, didn't he? That guy's like a good fucking pussy, but no, I would say overall it would be pretty close, but anti-rational question Trist no, I don't think it matters. That is when we're on the last tour again. No, no, do I.

Speaker 1:

No, it holds no credibility, does it? No, it doesn't, can't it? Credit credit how long have you not had to go Do it and have to go? Credibility, yeah, well then you need to get a word of the day toilet paper, mate. You're fucking shocking. He's just lost his credibility. He's just lost his credibility with that.

Speaker 1:

It's credit is ability, mate. Listen, it's Monday. It's been a long day, mate. Actually, to be fair, jack, in your defence, that is the most. That's the way you would say the word, if it makes the most sense credit ability. So I'll give you that.

Speaker 1:

I'm not shocking mate. Eh, don't get me a banker mate. Why would there have to be a banker mate? Yeah, credit score why do I need that? Oh, fuck me man, was that supposed to be banter then? Yeah, replace the banker with a W. That's what you are, banker. Don't make a new outcome. You keep the PG mix. Yeah, I hope you get to see this.

Speaker 1:

Alright, so what I'll do? Actually, I'll say this is a day you could bring four names over, but you have to send four from PGA to over. Yeah, no, you can't just say fucking like Great, yeah, love that question. It's like four players that everyone would know. Do you know who I'd love to send over? Only for the fucking mass fallout that would just tear everything apart. Send Rory over to us. Who, rory? Yeah, I'd definitely send party ice. Yeah, yeah, see you later. Mate Him and Xander both. Oh, xander, yeah, party ice. And Xander, you're allowed to go and be fucking. Absolutely no, you're not allowed to say goodbye to your friends and family. You're going right now. Yeah, I'd send baby to.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to think of anyone else that I've played. Do you know what I don't like? Wyndham Clark. I think he's a bit weird, though he's just because he said that he thinks he's better than Rory. Like you've taken offence to that. Yeah, I did. I'm like a dole, give me a favour, right?

Speaker 1:

I was just going to say that, personally, keep saying another three people or whatever, just so I can do it. I'm doing an experiment, just keep doing it, just like. Pick another three players, right. So, to be fair, I'm going to be in the Ames. I'm the showflade, be well, I'm the showflade. Wyndham Clark and who else? Um, I don't think there's not many that are like well looked at. Yeah, there's not many that are well known that everyone thinks he's a bit of a tit. Um, I can't think of a four, four. Victor Hovland no, no way, that's a joke. Danny Willett Fuck that guy. No, danny Willett's actually pretty solid. Do you know? Actually I might get Chris Ivey At times. Sometimes I'm like nah, well, funny, sometimes, like that you can get out of my face Tittle heart when that guy's like sulking and like throwing clubs and like, oh, that does my head in Like too much. Alright, my experiments failed anyway.

Speaker 1:

I was going to say if I reckon British people would would just constantly pick American and American people like personalities to send off. Oh, adam Hadwin, adam Hadwin. Yeah, brian Harmon, do you know who have gone? And they are, for some reason, really boring, right? South Africans, I don't know why they're so boring. Keegan Bradley, keegan Bradley, keegan Bradley yeah, that's a good one. South Africa, yeah, you've got Louis. It doesn't look well. Yeah, I suppose you could. Ruth Bowen, be it Bezwindow or whatever it is Bezwindow or whatever. Schwerzo Schwerzo. Yeah, it's like wow, it's like they don't grow any personality there. Yeah, yeah, they've got lovely strings. I would, I would. What are you? What are you looking at? Yeah, what is that face for? They've got gorgeous strings, but you can't like All right, yeah, for being sponsored by sketches alone.

Speaker 1:

He deserves worse than live. Live without the money. Get his contact you tomorrow, right, and they say all right, so let's, let's, let's fast forward to SFS in five years time. Yeah, sketches, contact me, hang on. No, sketches contact me and they go. Listen, I want to speak to you. I know that you guys, I've got this thing going on, but our sketches, we want to provide you with as many shoes and anything you need for what you're doing. You know you open to that and I go without, without asking anyone else, I go yeah, 100%, I think it's catches sketches. Come in contact, doesn't five years? About the other thing. We're on our way down.

Speaker 1:

I Am not, I'm not wearing their game, I resign to it. Yeah, I Actually like Like Fitzpatrick. Yeah, I like him. By conducting that, he comes across as a little bit of no. When I said like a, he's a proper nerd and I you slightly wrong, I don't dislike him, I just like to dislike him, mate, no offense. Yeah, it's funny. Yeah, you Know everything about everything. You know everything about your putting all that. I like to dislike myself as well. Jack, I love how you just come into combos. You know delivery. I Do not. I'm on server. Not, this is not on purpose.

Speaker 1:

But the second point I want to talk about his Brooks as well. So Brooks has said again publicly he's sort of had to go up Matt Wolf and said there's only three of us on the team. I can't decide where I sit with it because I'm like well, you should maybe be a better leader and that's what live provides the team aspect. But another side of me is like golf does need drama, it. It does need like talking points and things and it does need more what I just say on that. Yeah, you need to be a better leader, but what is Better than winning as a leader? There's a lot what was doing and that you can. You, you do, know that, right, no trace, that listen. Yet we're in the presence of wisdom. Mate, the guy Greatness, he, like you're the best for ever. Do podcasting Jack and off, mate, I'm like you don't. You don't even need to know what's been said to know what's gone on there. No, do you know? Yeah, I thought about this today, about the Brooks Coltrace.

Speaker 1:

I read it back. It's not the first time he's made Made comments about him. Bring me up to speed what's been said, because I know we've already discussed this podcast. Yeah, it's a different one. So just this week he said there's only three of us on our team and his team is him, his brother, jason Cockrock. Jason, I think. I think one. Yeah, this is what I'm gonna say to you, like couple things. And Brooks has got a neck on him saying there's only three of us on his team, when one of those is his fucking brother and he's dead last. Yeah, that is by that thing is only two of them on this team, all right, that's the first thing.

Speaker 1:

Second thing is I Think to decide whether he's a good leader on, you need to, you need to see, we need to know what's been done so far, because he's done the proper thing. And approach Matt Wolf offline and Internally is similar this and make you need to pull, pull your pulse. You put yourself together, put the work in. I'm at wolf's just like nah, mate, I'm here for the money. Then I would 100% do what Brooks is doing and call them on public. But if he's not done that and it's just calling on public because he thinks it's like an alpha male thing to do, and I think it's a bit of a dick move. I Think it's a bit of a dick move on Is because most not I don't like to drama. I'm not really asked that Matt Wolf's offended by it, but One of the reporters that I follow on Twitter had said that they played a pro arm the week before an event obviously a pro arm and Matt Wolf was like buzzing, he's playing with him and he was like playing really well, really sort of extrovert.

Speaker 1:

Go out, have a good laugh with everybody. And then it was that evening that Brooks made the comments in the first place and then he said he saw Matt Wolf on the pertain green the next day is a different person. He was like really dejected Down in the dumps and stuff. And if, if, live, it's gonna create a team format where the captains can choose players If they've been relegated and bring people into their team. Brooks needs to do more than just win tournaments. Yeah, I look at the captain's and I'm like Lee Westwood. Yeah to the captain's, lee Westwood. Lee Westwood is actually, if he wasn't a captain, he'd be getting relegated. But because he's a captain, he's examined for legation, which is bullshit. Who needs me? Westwood the captain, that's what I'm saying. Oh, he's a captain. In me that's Swartz, always like half, he's a.

Speaker 1:

The team format there is pretty pathetic, to be honest. Anyway, I, if I was, if I was Brooks, or if I was a part of the team, I'd just be like look, you're not my captain, don't tell me how to Like go about my game, I'll do me and you do you like, because golf, at the end of the day, is an individual sport. Like you, first and foremost, you play for yourself. Hmm, so the team, the team element, is a byproduct, like, yeah, you know, if we were, if we were part of the team now and you, tristan was coming to me going fucking now you know you need to be not pulling. You wait for the team. You need to do better. I'd be like I know, I Know, because I'm not, I'm not placing my set like I, my first priority is of Myself. I want to win the tournament, but I think the relevant, yeah, but I think the relevant comes in the actual fact that it's their livelihood. On life, I Degree with you, but I'm not a hundred percent.

Speaker 1:

But Matt Wolf, if he isn't now chosen for another team, he doesn't get a slot on life. That's what I think is the, the relevance behind it, because the captain's an example but no one else is. Well, I see, that's the thing. I don't. I don't think that's the case. I think because to get Matt Wolf and all that on to the total because Matt Wolf at the time leaving live, yeah, he was, he was, the hype had slightly died down on him, but he was still a prospect of the PJ talk, to get him to come to live they will have definitely said like, oh, this is the way it works. And they will say but don't, you, don't want to worry about getting relegated like you're, you're alright, I'm like binning the. I guarantee you that would be.

Speaker 1:

He's not also confirmed, but I don't think he has to worry about losing his place and I don't even think he has to worry about losing a member, losing a, getting kicked off the team. I think he can only be moved from that team if there's a trade made, like in American sports, I mean Like they swap him from another player. I don't think he can just kick him off the team. I don't think he's fighting for his livelihood. I think he's just, like I said before, comfortable. All right, so I'm lost, thank you. That's why the basis model is the team element. Like the end says it's, it's, it's nothing, it doesn't, it doesn't add anything to it. No one watches it for team element either.

Speaker 1:

And if you were broke, if there was a team on it, you'd be annoyed that you're winning your team. You would be pissed off that you're winning your team that much money. I Personally I know that if I was Brooks now I would. I would be just Humin, I'm, I'm pissed off. Can I just say you like, don't do what I want you to do? It in this saying, let alone if it was a multimillion pound contract in a golf comp, I'd just be fucking fuming all the time. But yeah, can I just say if you were the, if we were a team now and you were the captain, none of us would listen to you, because at the end of the day, you're the loser of losers. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I have seen the chip shot as well. I I watched that, that video today, which is the day record, which is Monday this comes out on Friday and and they won and down hill after first off you.

Speaker 1:

That was a great pet. I'm not gonna ruin it, but it went. It went downhill for your interest and I'm quite shocked, to be honest with you. You performed with it. What do you attribute that to? Alignment? I'm not gonna tell you tribute to, because I I shouldn't really be live on air bashing my family as much as I am, but it's ultimately down to that.

Speaker 1:

You can't have do me, do me. Oh, okay, I thought you meant your family's in O3, but clearly you meant you live in wife and two kids. Yeah, you can't have a wife and two kids. Just leave it. If you want to play, you've got to do what Liam's done. Wait until they sort of get over that three, four year old mark. We'll go from it.

Speaker 1:

But I will just say I Haven't enjoyed golf for a few years. But I will say this, and you can record this bit Already recorded yeah, 2024, it'll be different. I will. That was different for me as well. Liam doesn't have Liam. Liam's got a magic dust, so this before he's got he does that. Do you know that? Salt bathing just neglect. Cause that neglect. Neglect that's on Callum and caddy when they sleep and then they wake up he's done again. Is that man coming round again this week? Hey, trist, you and me both. Baby 234 is gonna be a huge you for me. I Don't, I just don't. I think it will be for me.

Speaker 1:

I think that I will sort my Long, persistent problems with alignment out over the winter and then I'll be playing. Good God, my, my swing Doesn't actually need work. Technical work, my alignment does You're talking, talking Shit. Your alignment, your alignment is one simple fix. It's not something that you work the whole winter on. Oh yeah, I've been working my alignment the whole. That's literally a five minute. It's like turn the tap off me. No, it isn't. No, do you know what is you? Do you know what you're doing? Now You're kind of like ridiculing mental health, and it's not funny because because my alignment is all Mental and it's not as simple as fixing it because I've done that. But then you face there is a line man, there's some more, listen to this right now and they're going. Yeah, I know what he means.

Speaker 1:

So when in my mind I'm aiming one place, and I'm actually aiming a complete different direction, now I'm faced with about on the practice ground or the practice on the driving range, I can fix it and I can hit some good balls right, but on the golf course you have to make some of them, you have to make a decision. You have to make the decision whether you trust yourself or trust the process, and it's hard because you want to trust yourself, I'm not the process, and what you end up doing is just going back every time. Never seen someone Squeeze so much juice out of alignment. Just fix your alignment, mate. It's a line of line, it's really. It's really recalibration. Yes, I'm into aim somewhere. Yeah, be careful what you wish for them. We don't have problems with alignment, mate. Mate, hey, trust your golf game is not. Yet your golf game is LOL, but you're also nickname is LOL because you have a user.

Speaker 1:

I will say this, will say this it hasn't been me for the last few years of myth, but we'll see who the best Griffiths brother is next year. Yeah right, well, just just letting know, though. Just Make a point for the viewers. Yeah, listeners, me interest might be saying, oh yeah, 24 is gonna be a big year for us, and then we might Spunk out because we've not put the work in. It is actually a massive year for the app Because, like I said last podcast, leons paid a lot of money, so it's gonna be a huge year for it is it is make or break for you. Then, if you don't get to where you want to next year, you need to swallow the big fat pillow.

Speaker 1:

Maybe I'm not as good at this game as I thought I could be. Listen, I Hand up what. Oh, you want to go first? Okay, sorry, here's the hot take of the evening. Oh yeah, you can never get on scratch. Do you know why? Tell us why, jack, you will always be off. Four or three, yeah, but you know where those four or three shots are Pain on the green. You got to feel it. You're gonna be natural putting like macro is hot and cold putting, because he's not a natural putter you are. Yeah, I agree with you. I don't. I agree that you put a chip. I don't. I actually think we haven't got the best chance. I've always getting on scratch. Yeah, you can. You can all Spout your shit about who will be the best.

Speaker 1:

Griff is for the next year. I'm not particularly first. All I say is I've set the wheels in motion for the winter already. Right, and the person who goes to the gym every single day, irrespective of how he feels, will always beat the person who only goes to the gym when he feels like it. And unfortunately for you guys, that's what you are. You're just tell me now it's hobby golf, it's got that, we go. Do I feel like going for a few holes, yes or no? So you'll, you're already on the back, for I have nothing to worry about.

Speaker 1:

So tell me now it's October the 16th or something today, isn't it Correct? How many sessions you done? I had two sessions in the driving range last week. Yeah, it's not good enough, mate. It might not be good enough for someone else out there who might be working harder than me. I'm comparing myself to you guys. Yeah, but You're not going to get anywhere with that swing while that was put in stroke.

Speaker 1:

I've got my own. I missed half that one. I've got my own guide in the sub-winter as well. Your own guide for winter. My own guide in the sub-winter as well. What's the? Was it Google Maps? No, no, jack, do you know what? Yeah, you are a really funny guy and I really rate you a humour. Yeah, because I was eating in the sand. I'm your brother and I just grew up with it. But in terms of comedic timing and actually clever jokes, yeah, you might be, were you the worst that I've ever heard of four of us? Yeah, I'm lacking that to pattern, but in terms of like innuendos, innuendos, your pronunciation of certain words you're the right up there, mate, with the best.

Speaker 1:

None of you asked me about what I think about the 2024 season itself. Yeah, because it's the same as the earlys. Mate, you've got big dreams, big dreams, I've got big dreams. No, that's not why we've been asked you, because no one really gives a fuck. So we'll go to the quiz. Yeah, but quickly. Actually, trishon, who is your own guidance? Matthew Totty, mate, does he know about this? Yeah, let Jack have his say, because I'm looking forward to hearing this, because I will have a rebuttal. Yeah, um 2024, what's it bring in store? Ah right, quiz time. Oh, fuck me. Go on, jack. Tell us I'll go back to the bar because they should get black. It was a ten minute, so you're off.

Speaker 1:

With now, jack, seven, eight. Do you want my honest goal? One sentence, your one goal, your main goal in one sentence. Try and get a major in the bank. Number one and number two. Compete for the order of merit. Have a good consistent. Is that kicking next season? Leo, it will be kicking in next season. Yeah, so it'll be a big season at Ball Bay. If you miss a comp and one of us happens to play in that comp you know you're going to be one week out can throw you for the season. So it will be. There'll be a lot of consideration in that respect.

Speaker 1:

So, jack, if you're going to compete at all next season, your biggest issue is you have absolutely no idea what's going on in your swing. You don't know where your bad shots come from. You don't even know where your good shots come from. Your issue is mental. You've got this mental block to not want to understand your golf swing and where it's at. When you're hot, you're hot, don't get me wrong, but when you're bad it is shocking. Yeah, like you are, yeah, you're the type of guy that like say now this also isn't applied to you in real life, but hypothetically speaking.

Speaker 1:

Now you had a girlfriend, yeah, and you cheated on her. You cheated like shit. You didn't spend any money, there wasn't any time with her, yeah. Then she played to you and you're like what? I thought things were going alright. I thought things were going alright. I've no idea what I did wrong. Like you complained about your golf game, but you don't practice, you don't analyze, you don't want to see people, you don't put the hours in. You just sit there drinking corona, doing absolutely niche, niche, absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Do you know what he was doing last week in Powellfort and he was really annoying me, niche. He was hitting the ball way left right and he was aiming. There was a bit of a breeze and he was aiming like 30 yards left and hitting it straight. So his ball was landing and he was crying because he was like it's gone, fucking straight again. And I was like so, so I was trying to get through into his head it's gone straight because you're hitting it straight and you're aiming there. And every time. I told him every time. I told him, if you want to take the wind into consideration, like aim for centre of the green and aim five yards left of the green, donate 30 yards left, and he was hitting the green every time and then, like five minutes later, it's like he had completely forgot about what I'd said I need to be winging him on and about why he's hit it straight, left 30 yards out of line again.

Speaker 1:

So, in summary, 2024 is going to be a massive, massive year for the Griffiths Bros, isn't it? I will prove to everyone what I'm about Order of Merit. No, I haven't done that. You can't win the Order of Merit, mate. What year did Brooks Kepke go win his first major champion? 2016, baby, this is Josh, and Jack-O-Rout. I know what it is. 2018, 2017. No, no, no points there. Yeah, how many major championships has John? Daily one. So, josh, us.

Speaker 1:

It was the USPGA in 1987 and then the open. Yeah, no, it was the PGA in 1991. I thought it was 1991. I thought it was 1995, pretty sure. Open. If you want to watch a golf clinic or watch as high as 1991, you USPGA probably will. Okay, cool, right, film Lucas and collapsed on the final hole of the 2006 US Open.

Speaker 1:

Who ended up winning that tournament? Tell us, no, you're out. Angle Cabrera, bill? No, chris DeMarco, do you mean Angle Cabrera, jack? Yeah, yeah, no, chris DeMarco. No, jeff Oglevy, I don't know about that. Three questions down on a one point scored no. Two questions, yes. Three questions down. What's the only major that Fred couples as one Masters? Masters, josh, that was me, that was me. That was Josh. About two years later, mate, yeah, you were, in reality, you were about two whole seconds behind. I'm like your sound. You're a mile behind. Come on, no, this is wrong. This. Come on. See me complaining, mate. No, you're not.

Speaker 1:

Roy won the 2011 US Open by eight shots. Who finished second place? I'm going to give you a clue. He's still an active golfer. Technically, was one of the world's best, but you're out now, but is not actually on the same level anymore. Still a young golfer as well. Ricky Fowler no. So, jack, you got a free ride here. I love the free ride, then, and don't cheat Jack. Is he American? No, he'll be cheating. He's got his camera off. He's definitely cheating. Camera's not off. Can you see me? He's still relatively young. Yeah, I just want to give Jack a point. What is relatively young, like same age as Macroy. He's about mid 30s, australian. That is Adam Scott. No, I'm doing it. Jason Day. Jason Day, yeah, I get that point. Yeah, you do, you won again.

Speaker 1:

I win streak on this, on this quiz. Well, he is fucking. He gets Liam's insane. I know he owes me about seven points.

Speaker 1:

You two share quiz questions. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I literally just have a Google tap here open now before I come on out, because I've done some good quizzes. Now I'm on the point where I'm like all right, google quiz questions before I get on. Yeah, I fail on Next time.

Speaker 1:

Do you know what? Next week? Yeah, next week I'll prep a quiz. Go on then and then you three can battle out. Yeah, so Sounds good. Bye, I want to call it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll say on the classic test that right, do we join Jack to round us off? Yeah, go on and Jack Give it a go. Have fun, guys. See you later. Oh my God, thanks for listening.

Speaker 1:

Do you know, just before we go on, jack works for what? For walking Jones. As a QS he's really good, but between the hours of half eight and five, which are his working hours, the guy is is these unreal QS Outside as ours. That guy is one of the dumbest people I've ever met in my life. Yeah, yeah, it's actually strangely you. You are so dumb. That's the thing. You really are so dumb, isn't that awesome video? Yeah, you're so dumb. Oh, fuck it up. All right, guys, wrap it up.

Speaker 1:

Baby Subscribe. We've got 136 subscribers now, but basically what? What is an iron? Me right, and you can do what you want. You can choose to do what you want, but a lot more people are watching. So if you're watching it, subscribe. It's literally just click a button. So the first 5000 people to subscribe were given a grand each to go. Yeah, get on it, lads.
