We're back from our summer break, and this week we're talking about 'chasing the dream'. In the world of endless choices and the pressure to 'live your best life', how do pursue our dreams whilst staying sane? How do we find the motivation to keep going? And when do we know when it's time to throw in the towel? All questions that we're exploring today alongside our wonderful guest playwright and screenwriter, Emma Pritchard. Emma was a writer on 2019’s Channel 4 Screenwriting programme, has several original TV projects in development and is currently writing a scripted podcast for Hat Trick that will be released later in the year. Emma’s plays include The Guardians and Pirate Queen (Almeida Theatre Participation), Armour (Vault Festival) and Split, co-written and performed with Tamar Broadbent (Vault Festival, Brighton Fringe and Leatherhead Theatre), which won the Vault Festival Spirit Award. Her monologue Pythagoras was one of the winners of Papatango Theatre Company’s ‘Isolated but Open: Voices Across The Shutdown’ project.
