SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I can't believe I forgot the game. I'm an idiot. This morning, I was like, I didn't, we didn't talk about the game, but she must remember, but yeah, I didn't. Good morning. Good morning. Just doing straight fresca this morning.

SPEAKER_01

Really? Just fresca from a can with a straw.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, you know, probably too much to drink yesterday. Gotta go to church. You know, just gonna stay on the fresca kick this morning.

SPEAKER_01

What was going on yesterday?

SPEAKER_02

I'm sure I'll be drinking heavily watching my football team lose again, probably later.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but you did good last week in the fantasy pool.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I got a scrappy team. Somebody's gotta do good. San Janeiro Week.

SPEAKER_01

So you know how I remember last year I was there and I got hammered.

SPEAKER_02

I love the fucking San Janeiro so much. So I did the San Janeiro, but then locally this, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, like you have a little one. We have St. Gocco.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like a town San Janeiro. We have that in the Hampton. So I did that. So I've been San Janeiroing all over. Yeah. Nothing wrong with some San Janeiro feasts. That's why I'm sticking to Fresca this morning.

SPEAKER_01

A little overserved. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, did Auburn win? I didn't even watch.

SPEAKER_01

They did win. Oh, congrats. Our defense stunk. It was a very upsetting game because even though we won and our offense played well, our defense stunk, and we're going to Oklahoma next weekend for a very, very, very big game, and I'm very nervous about it.

SPEAKER_02

My friend is going to that game because her kids go to that school.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, really?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We're going to an Auburn tailgating party.

SPEAKER_02

In Oklahoma. Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. I've never been to the state of Oklahoma, so I can check it off my list.

SPEAKER_02

I love that for you.

SPEAKER_01

So Oh my gosh, wait a second. Yeah. I just realized something. Was I in charge of the game this week?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I don't have a game.

SPEAKER_02

You're the worst.

SPEAKER_01

I totally forgot. And I forgot to do my wordle yesterday, so my streak is lost. Oh my god, I totally forgot the game.

SPEAKER_02

Fuck. Did your mother panic when you didn't send the wordle?

SPEAKER_01

I don't send it to her. She only sends it to me. Oh, I thought you sent it to her too. No, I wish I did because then I wouldn't have blown my streak yesterday. Shit, I didn't do the game. We're gameless. Do you want me to make one up on the fly?

SPEAKER_02

Sure. When we get to it, you make it up. Did you s Anthony Rizzo shit in the Oh my gosh? Yes.

unknown

It's so good.

SPEAKER_01

But I mean, the chances of that even happening are so crazy, right? So for anybody that didn't see this video yesterday, Anthony Rizzo retires, right?

SPEAKER_02

He's having the time of his life, by the way.

SPEAKER_01

So he goes to Wrigley Field to the Cubs game and sits in the bleacher seats.

SPEAKER_02

With Eddie Venner, who was fucking bought.

SPEAKER_01

Who knew that Anthony Rizzo and Eddie Vedder were even friends? But okay. And they're sitting that not in a suite, not in good seats, they're sitting in the bleachers, and this rookie hits a home run. First home run. First home run ever to the American League all-star first baseman who drops the ball and a regular person ends up getting the ball. It's just an unbelievable number of events to happen in a row. Like, what are the chances?

SPEAKER_02

I've watched that video three times because I can't take Eddie Betty either. I'm laughing hysterical. He was bombed. Between that and the Savannah bananas, I don't understand the Savannah bananas.

SPEAKER_01

Did you get tickets to the Savannah Bananas? I tried, I couldn't get them.

SPEAKER_02

They're sold out.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I was in the lottery. I didn't get the tickets. It's harder than Lady Gaga tickets. Yeah, I love the Savannah bananas. But I don't love them for an extended period of time. They're fun to watch for an inning or two, but I can't watch a whole game.

SPEAKER_02

I yeah, I don't think I would go to it. I wanted to go to it just to say I went, but Joe Torre was on the field. I'm like, what is happening?

SPEAKER_01

They do fun things at the end. Because when your team suck, you gotta watch the Savannah Bananas. The Savannah bananas are also gonna be in Auburn. Maybe I should go to Auburn to see them.

SPEAKER_02

They're everywhere, the Savannah Bananas.

SPEAKER_01

They're getting bigger and bigger all the time.

SPEAKER_02

They really are. All right, great, great. Yeah, so that's all we got. We have no teams. We got the Savannah bananas.

SPEAKER_01

Right. If anybody doesn't know about them, they're a baseball team, but they're sort of like going to see a baseball Broadway musical. Yeah, right. They do fun things throughout the game, they have choreograph dances, they make up weird rules that the fans can participate in. One of the players is on stilts. It's really funny. And it's enjoyable. It really is enjoyable. But I always have good music throughout the games.

SPEAKER_02

I agree with you. Limited time. I don't have that kind of patience. So I listened to some of that podcast that you sent me from the infatuation people, and they were talking about the best shrimp cocktail. And so I'm assuming you sent that to me because you know how I feel about shrimp cocktails.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you're one of the only people I know that really worships the shrimp cocktail and enjoys the shrimp cocktail so much. So the infatuation people have this new podcast where they pick these actually very cool topics. I don't exactly love the hosts, but I like the topics they've done waiting in line in New York for certain things, they've done martinis, they've done burgers. So they just released their one on shrimp cocktails, and I thought, oh my gosh, this is right up your alley.

SPEAKER_02

I do really love a shrimp cocktail. Why do you love a shrimp cocktail? I will say this. I don't always order a shrimp cocktail. I know.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like when I'm around you, you're eating a shrimp cocktail. So if you don't always order it, when I'm around you, you're ordering a shrimp cocktail.

SPEAKER_02

I know where to get the shrimp cocktail. Like I don't just randomly order a shrimp cocktail. They said their best shrimp cocktail was like a seafood bar restaurant called Penny's, which I've never been to, but I had it on my list of where I want to go. So now I have to go and obviously try the shrimp cocktail. But they gave nods to tracks. Yes, they did. And you know what, people? I fucking love tracks.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but I don't think people know what tracks is.

SPEAKER_02

Tracks used to be in Penn Station. Yes. And then they came up from the basement and they have a regular restaurant across from the garden, and it looks kind of like a diner, but it's not. My brother says it looks like Denny's. It does not look like Denny's. You go to the back, and the food is good and the people are great.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway, but the thing about tracks that's funny about them calling it out is you would never think that this place has a great shrimp cocktail.

SPEAKER_02

Right, but you don't disrespect tracks because they are supposed to be a seafood place. Well, they don't feel seafoody to me.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, it does not, it doesn't really exude shellfish to me there. I have had the shrimp cocktail there, and it is quite good. To me, all shrimp cocktails are the same. No, I don't feel a difference other than the sauce.

SPEAKER_02

No, they're not the same because the how big they are, how many they give, the prices, the sauce, all of it, what plate they come on. There's a lot of things that go into the shrimp cocktail. Most of the time, you have a great shrimp cocktail at a steakhouse, but pennies is just a seafood bar, so I'm gonna check out pennies to see in the East Village.

SPEAKER_01

Now, Penny's does not take reservations, they only take walk-ins.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_01

So that's the key.

SPEAKER_02

And the other thing is I do not really enjoy cocktail sauce.

SPEAKER_01

So you eat literally shrimp, no cocktail, just shrimp. Like, have you ever said I'll take a shrimp cocktail, no sauce? No, that's how I like to do my mimosa.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I'll take a mimosa with no orange juice, please. It's not that I don't like cocktail sauce, it's just that I would prefer to have hot sauce. Got it. But I'm gonna check out this pennies, but I do.

SPEAKER_01

I want to go to pennies too.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I go to Italian restaurants and order shrimp cocktail.

SPEAKER_01

Like I said, in my mind, when we're together, you are always eating a shrimp cocktail. So for me, I don't remember every place we've ever eaten, but I would say 90% of the times we've eaten together, you have eaten a shrimp cocktail.

SPEAKER_02

I also want to say that 90% of the times when I'm hosting, I have shrimp cocktail.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Oh yeah. You always have it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Always serving shrimp cocktail. It's one of those things we can always count on when we see you. And I've just spent a season at the stadium, so I have shrimp cocktail at NYY Steak, which is very good. Their shrimp cocktail, by the way. All right. So I don't know how I got caught up talking about shrimp cocktail, but yeah. I just don't get it because it made sense. Did you get your new AirPods?

SPEAKER_01

They come on Friday. So let me get this straight. Apple every year they release all their new products. And I was watching Tim Cook do his thing, and they're releasing these AirPods that are a game changer in my world because they're gonna be translators in that while they're in my ears, if someone's speaking another language, in my ears I'll know what they're saying. For my entire life, I've always wanted to know what they're saying about me when I get my nails done. So I'm gonna have my AirPods in and I'm gonna know if they say shit about me, and I'm gonna freaking call them out on it if they do.

SPEAKER_02

No, I really am fascinated by this. So you mean like if I am in another country? Yeah. If I'm in Paris, which everything seems to be about Paris this week, if I'm in Paris, they'll translate the French.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and the other thing that it will do is if you want to speak it back, yeah, on your phone, you can either show them what you want to say or you can say it to them. Really?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, any language, any language, it's a game changer. And it has to hear, how does it pick up like it hears what they're saying in the nail salon?

SPEAKER_01

The AirPods have been used in the past couple of years as hearing aids for people. So it's picking up sound and amplifying the sound. So just as it sucks in the sound, it's now able to translate the sound in real time in your ears. Wow, that's amazing. And in this land of everything's more expensive, Apple has kept the price the same. So there's still $249 with free shipping and free engraving on the case. Which of course I did.

SPEAKER_02

I may have to get that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you gotta get it. Especially if you work someplace where they don't speak English all the time. If you go to stores in my shop, right, nobody speaks English. So it's gonna be great. I just can't wait to listen to other people's conversations, especially if they are saying stuff about me that they think I don't know. Your lack of focus now will be like ridiculous. Oh my god. Because you'll be everywhere, you'll be in everyone's conversation. See, this is what Apple doesn't even understand. I'm now gonna wanna go to places where people don't speak English. In the past, I shied away from that because it was intimidating to me. But now I'm going everywhere.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, this is gonna be great.

SPEAKER_01

I can't wait. I'm so excited. All right, so Friday they come. But I'm leaving for Oklahoma on Friday. I hope they come before I have to leave, but highly unlikely my pickup is at 10.

unknown

Oh.

SPEAKER_02

All right, well, we're gonna find out.

SPEAKER_01

I can't wait to get a manicure. I can't. It's gonna be the best day ever. Oh my god. Especially like, you know, when you first walk in and they all say things to each other. Oh, yeah. I walk in and I go, manicure, pedicure, and they'll say blah blah blah blah blah. And I'm like, I want to know if they're like, oh, this is the shitty tipper, or ugh, I can't stand this woman. Yeah, they definitely and even if it's not about me, if it's about someone else that walks in, it's gonna even better.

SPEAKER_02

They definitely hate you. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, they don't. I'm so nice.

SPEAKER_02

Not once you get your air butt. I can't wait. This is another example of how we are with stupid people. But Hunting Wives is coming back with season two. What is left to talk about in Hunting Wives?

SPEAKER_01

I don't even know how much more porn they can shove into one more season. They've porned the first season out big time. You knew it was gonna happen. Well, it was number one on Netflix for how many weeks? A lot. It's still in the top 10. It's still in the top 10. That's why it's coming back. Oh my god. That's all data, baby. If it stays a long time, it's gonna come back.

SPEAKER_02

Do you know that I read something this week that more people were watching My Life with the Walter Boys than they were watching The Summer I Turned Pretty, which I find that's shocking. Is that true? Yeah, I don't know if it's like more nationwide people are watching My Life with the Walter Boys. I finished it. It's the same show. It's the same as season one. Yeah, it's the same. No, seriously, it's the same as season one. Nothing's happened.

SPEAKER_01

No, and it's the same show as Summer I Turn Pretty, except that it's in Cowboy Land instead of in Nantucket. I mean, it's the same thing.

SPEAKER_02

No, the summer I turn pretty is so much better.

SPEAKER_01

It's the point is she's torn between two brothers, she's torn between two brothers. I mean, it's ridiculous. No, I'm not sure. Also, this one's an orphan, this one's mother died. I mean, they nobody ever has both parents alive in any of these shows.

SPEAKER_02

No, never. The summer I turn pretty is so much better.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it is, but they both suck and I still watch them.

SPEAKER_02

Now this week I'm listening to Harry Styles. Oh my god. Sign of the Times, Harry. Do you believe that there's going to be extra episodes of what? Samurai Temporary. No. Well, you know, all the Easter eggs about this number 13, which means there would be two more episodes.

SPEAKER_01

I can't no, I can't have more episodes of that show. Move on, people. It has to end.

SPEAKER_02

Team Benito. I'm team Benito. I'm Team Benito. I love Benito. I'm team Benito. And let me just say something else. Paris makes everybody look better. She's not wearing fucking cherries on her clothes anymore. No.

SPEAKER_01

Well, when you go to Paris, it's high fashion. Yeah, right. You gotta step it up, Belly. Of course, nothing again, nothing makes sense. Of course, Belly is now gonna live in her friend's apartment with no money. No problem. You take the apartment. Sure.

SPEAKER_02

It's a beautiful apartment. I know. There's a lot of speculation. So there's speculation that they drop too many hints that there would be another two episodes. We can't have two more episodes. And then, you know, when he needed that anti-acid shit or whatever. So now they think he's gonna die. No, they think that he has some kind of episode. And then she has to fly home. Maybe Conrad goes and we're all team Benito, right? And he lets her be. But just as he gets there, she has to fly home. I think we fast forward a little. And then she flies home, and maybe Conrad's the doctor. Who knows? Conrad's a doctor.

SPEAKER_01

That's who you want operating on you, the guy that failed out of medical school. But we'll take Conrad.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, poor Conrad.

SPEAKER_01

That would be the funniest shit ever if Conrad's the doctor.

SPEAKER_02

Listen, I'm Team Benito here, but I thought that Jeremiah had a really good episode.

SPEAKER_01

This was the first episode that I was a little team Jarr.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm curious. Because you know what?

SPEAKER_01

He was good in the episode. He said the right things. Is he gonna get his own restaurant and call it Jar's Place?

SPEAKER_02

I think he should get his own restaurant.

SPEAKER_01

He looks like he's a great cook. Yeah, it looks like a great cook. Or just call it in my belly. No, he let her go. My belly. He could just call it my belly. He let her go. Yeah, yeah, he says he let her go. He let her go and he told Connie not to waste it. Right, go for it, Connie. But Connie's gonna get there and Benito's gonna say, you stay away from my belly. That show that's so bad.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just loving it though. Like when Harry Styles comes on, he's sitting in fucking coach surrounded by a thousand people. I'm thinking to myself, oh, this is the best. This is the best. But my takeaway is that Paris makes everyone look better. And now that if I get the ear pods and I could talk, the Parisians will love me. That's right. They're gonna love it.

SPEAKER_01

All right, it's all about Paris this week. So we had the Netflix movie The Wrong Paris.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's funny. I thought that mix-up being Paris, Texas, was cute.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it wasn't a mix-up, it was an intentional. Yeah, it's cute. So it's a movie on Netflix, and it stars Miranda Cosgrove and a guy named Pierce Foday, who's who's frigging gorgeous. He's got some abs on himself. Those abs are real. I need to understand how you even make something like that happen to your body.

SPEAKER_02

At least this is a fucking rom-com. It's a real rom-com. At least there's a no one's dying in this show.

SPEAKER_01

No, and we got a cute meet cute. Yeah. Cute storyline. I loved the twist at the end. Yeah, it was cute. I liked the bloopers at the end. I thought it was all good.

SPEAKER_02

It was all cute. The wrong Paris on Netflix, very cute. Finally, a rom-com, not like you know, someone's dying at the end. Yeah. We like happy endings and we get a happy ending. You know, speaking of happy endings, this Frankie Paul Bachelorette thing is really crazy. How is this gonna be possible?

SPEAKER_01

Correct me if I'm wrong. This is the first time that a bachelorette is not from The Bachelor, right? All the previous bachelorettes were people that came from The Bachelor who didn't win, right?

SPEAKER_02

Well, most of the time, I don't know if that's true all the time.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. What bachelor would want to be with Taylor Frankie Paul?

SPEAKER_02

You know, I had to do a little Reddit here because I'm obsessed with the fact that you're gonna be the new bachelorette with three kids and a Mormon and two baby daddies. There were people saying that some of the bachelors wanted no part of it anymore. I don't blame them. Because now I feel like it's not gonna be legit. No, it's gonna be like people just looking for fame. It has to be.

SPEAKER_01

There's no guy out there that wants what she's got. No way.

SPEAKER_02

Good for ABC though in Hulu, you know, like people talking and it makes me want to tune in, just like it is.

SPEAKER_01

I haven't watched Dancing with the Stars in years, and I definitely want to watch that too.

unknown

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

Speaking of that, are you obsessed with the Love Thy Nader? She's no longer with him. Okay. Because obviously she's no longer with the Dancing with the Stars guy because now she's dating two of the tennis players.

SPEAKER_01

How is that possible? So let me just say this. I did not know who Brooke's Nader was until you told me to watch Love Thy Nader, which is on freeform, but I'm watching it on Hulu. Right. There are eight episodes. It is very similar to the Kardashians. I think they want to be the Kardashians.

SPEAKER_02

They do, they do.

SPEAKER_01

This is what I have to say. This is their first season. Now, if you go back to the first season of the Kardashians, they're unrecognizable versus what they look like now. Yeah, right. These four sisters, I don't know what they've done to their bodies previous to this show and their faces, but they are stunning. Stunning. I would actually say they're much more beautiful than the Kardashians. I think that the sisters are prettier than Brooke. Okay, the one sister who's the lesbian sister with the Frida Kello eyebrows, she's on drop dead gorgeous. Yeah, they're all beautiful. Their bodies are insane. I don't know if they all had their boobs done, but they have the most beautiful boobs I've ever seen in my life. Aren't you obsessed with the parents? And like Brooke. Bro, the guy the dad's name is Bro. That's the best. Because they keep saying, Yeah, bro. Because they show you their names on the screen all the time. I was calling him B-Rux. Right, right. Because it's B-R-E-A-U-X. But his name is Bro. Dude, they're good. I'm telling you, the mom with the pilgrim sleeves on everything. I adore. I love that these four moved to New York in this sick apartment in Soho. Sick apartment. I mean, what is going on is unbelievable. The fact that I had no idea who she was, and now I'm way deep. I'm way deep. I'm so team Nader. I love all of them. Who is she dating, though? So, people, what they've been saying is that Brooks Nader was at the finals and she was in the box.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There's rumors that she was dating both Sinner and Alcaraz who went against each other for the finals. She has neither confirmed nor denied anything at this point. I know. But her playbook for how to become Kardashian is right on the money. Mark my words, I said it here first. These naders are gonna blow up. They're gonna be massive, just like the Kardashians. I don't think. And just like Ryan Seacrest owned the Kardashians, who owns this one? Jimmy Kimmel. I don't think you said it here first.

SPEAKER_02

They've been around, dude.

SPEAKER_01

You're just late to the game. Yeah, but they're not as big as they're gonna be. Like Jimmy Kardashians are global sensations. The Naders, this is only their first season, and while they've been models, etc., we didn't know anything to the degree we know now. And mark my words, they're gonna be just like the Kardashians, they're gonna be a global sensation, they're gonna be everywhere. People are gonna be obsessed. Jimmy Kimmel asked her if she was dating both of them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but she said she didn't really answer the question. I just love it. I told you, I gotta go back. I stopped watching it because other shit I had to watch, but I I had to go back. It's so good. It's so good. Yeah, no, I don't. Love thy neater, everyone. It's mindless TV, but that kind of stuff is so good. Like I love the Mormon wives. Yeah, it's the same.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, it's all the same shit, but these women, I mean, God, are they gorgeous?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they really are. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And I really want to do some digging to just know how much work they've had done. Because they're young. Brooks is twenty-eight, her sister's twenty-six, the other ones are twenty-four and twenty-three. They're young. So if they've had work done, it they've had work done at a very young age.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know how how much work they've had. Maybe Brooks has had some work done. I don't know about the others.

SPEAKER_01

But this Sarah my God.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they really are beautiful.

SPEAKER_01

And honestly, their outfits are amazing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they got some good outfits. Jeez. Yes, that's Love Thy Needer. I'm watching it on Hulu also. Okay, cool. There's eight episodes. Maybe one of them will be the next Bachelorette after Frankie Paul. I just don't understand that. Am I gonna watch it now? I can't go back to it.

SPEAKER_01

I don't want to watch it, but I want to see the first one. Maybe you're just gonna give me the highlights. I'm not committing to it. Because after the last time I watched, I said I was never watching again.

SPEAKER_02

You did say that, I know. And I stopped. I had to stop. I stopped watching The Housewives, and then something happens and sucks me back in.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Did you see Teresa on Jeff Lewis? She's not filming. She's she's basically said that. And then she made it like does the queen he said, is there a possibility of you ever making amends with Melissa and Joe and Margaret and everybody? And Teresa said, of course, because she wants to be on the show, never say never. Which now the headlines are all over the place. Teresa says there's a possible reconciliation. No, she basically said never say never so that she could get back on the show.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right now she's not filming at all. They're filming right now.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

All right. This new show with Robin Wright.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's called The Girlfriend. It's on Amazon Prime. There's six episodes. And you know what's so funny? Well, which I'm sure we'll talk to it in a minute, but Charlie Sheen has a documentary, and Sean Penn is in that documentary. And Sean Penn looks like the Cripkeeper. And Robin Wright, who was his wife, how old is she? And she looks insanely gorgeous. I love Robin Wright. And she's producing this and directing it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, don't you feel like this week everything was connected? Everything was parrot. And then I'm watching Robin, and then all of a sudden, Sean's on my TV. Yes. You know, Charlie and Denise. It's all bizarre.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Well, you know, a lot of them grew up together, and there's all this cross-pollination in a way. Sean did not look good. No. And also the chain smoking. Who in this world of don't smoke, the chain smoking just drives me insane. And he looks like a crypt keeper, doesn't he? Robin Wright is 59. Soon to be 60. So she's my age. She looks fucking great. I don't look that good. You don't look like Robin Wright.

SPEAKER_02

But you don't look like Sean Penn. So you got that going for me.

SPEAKER_01

So the premise of the girlfriend is Robin Wright is the mom of a son named Danny.

SPEAKER_02

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

And Danny meets this girl, and she is on paper, amazing. He thinks she's the best thing ever. He's so in love with her. He wants her to meet his parents, and they meet, and she is all I want to say is she's not what she seems. Yeah. She's really good.

SPEAKER_02

It's super juicy. It's definitely gonna be a talked-about show. Yeah, there's a lot of stuff on Amazon Prime right now. There's only six episodes. I am about to start episode four, but my jaw was on the ground after episode three. Yeah, I know. So good. So it is really good, and she is amazing, and it takes place in London, and that's great. They go to Spain and they obviously have a lot of money because they have a sick house everywhere they are, which is makes it even more interesting. I tell you though, Robin Wright is badass. If I was that girl, I'd be fucking scared of Robin Wright. I would be too. I am no no joke. Watch out there, Cherry. Exactly. I love that her name is Cherry. This is what I mean. Everything was connected, everything was on Amazon Prime. I was screaming that Belly wasn't wearing cherries. Then all of a sudden, I watched the Garden's name is Cherry. I know. This is a weird fucking week.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's interesting.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I know.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god. Yeah. So you gotta check that out. Amazon Prime. There's so many things on Amazon Prime right now.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you know, we always say it goes in waves. There's like a bunch on Netflix and it's a bunch on Amazon Prime, then it becomes Paramount Plus. I mean, it's always cyclical.

SPEAKER_02

We will see if we were right about our Emmy picks, right? Because once this podcast drops, the Emmys would have already been on. So we will find out if we were right. I'm excited about it. Yes. I'm excited to see if the pit gets anything. I'm really excited.

SPEAKER_01

Um, did you see what Nate Bargate is doing for the Emmys? I think it's amazing.

SPEAKER_02

No, what is he doing?

SPEAKER_01

So he's the host, and what he's doing is he has put up $150,000 of his own money, and that is going to be given to charity. However, anybody who wins an award and comes up for their speeches and goes too long, the money comes out of the charity pot. Oh my god, that's hilarious! So if you go too long, you're taking away from a charitable donation.

SPEAKER_02

Isn't that really funny? That's really good.

SPEAKER_01

I love it.

SPEAKER_02

I love that too. All right, let's go back and talk briefly about the Charlie Sheen documentary. That is on Netflix.

SPEAKER_01

Two parts, an hour and a half each. So you have three hours. I find it groundbreaking. I don't think there's anything shocking about it that we did know or didn't know. I didn't realize he's sober now seven years because I wasn't really sure about what was going on with him. I thought maybe he was even still a drug addict because when we saw him in Denise Richards' show, he sounded weird and he wasn't making any sense. But apparently he's been sober for seven years. I think the big takeaway for me was just Martin Sheen's the best dad on the planet. He has basically supported his son through all of it, all of the insanity.

SPEAKER_02

But not on the documentary.

SPEAKER_01

He and Emilio did not want to participate, but Ramon, the brother, he was on. And it was weird because Ramon looks like Emilio, but sounds like Martin Sheen. Yeah. It's really weird. For a second, I thought it was Emilio, but it wasn't. But Denise Richards is in it. You have a lot of Sean Penn in it. You have, oh, and this the third Brooke, I think her name is the m the mom of his twin boys. She's in it, and apparently she's still a drug addict. Didn't we see the boys in uh yeah, in the Denise Richards show? Maybe Denise told us and I forgot, but yeah. Apparently Denise had custody of the boys when both Charlie and Brooke were in their crazy, yeah, uh drug-addicted state. That's why the boys are so close to the sisters, to Sammy and Lola, because they were all sort of in the same home at the same time. I love Charlie Sheen.

SPEAKER_02

I love to hear the shit. I love the Heidi Fly stuff. I love Denise. I love all that, but I feel like his whole life is an open book. There hasn't been anything that we didn't know when I'm watching it, although I'm enjoying it. I just felt like I think we know all this already. Yeah, true. But you're but you're right. Martin Sheen is the best. I was a little disappointed that he wasn't on it, but oh, Charlie Sheen, check it out.

SPEAKER_01

The fact that he says that he believes he has spent between drugs, alcohol, and prostitutes a hundred million dollars.

SPEAKER_02

The prostitutes are really too much. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I forgot that he was the pivotal reason why Heidi Fleiss went to jail. I was like, traveler's checks. You paid with a traveler's check. It's kind of funny.

SPEAKER_02

The interventions.

SPEAKER_01

I mean Roblo was at his intervention, which I did know because I read the book, but I'd forgotten. So when he's talking about this 9 a.m. birthday party for his dad, and he said, I knew something was up because there were no balloons.

SPEAKER_02

It was like my gym teacher sitting in it. It was so funny. It was really funny. Yeah. All right. That was on Netflix. Yes. Wasn't this week the week that the Downton Abbey movie premiered?

SPEAKER_01

Came out Friday, but it's in theaters. I don't know that I'll be able to get to it in the theater. I may have to wait till it comes onto TV.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my God, I'm so excited.

SPEAKER_01

What is it about? I don't know. Do we fast forward? Where are we? I'm sure we fast forward. We're not going back.

SPEAKER_02

No, we're not going back. All right. Well, I'm excited for that. There's a lot of things, see? And we are getting into sweater season. You know, I love a good sweater. For me, it's sweatshirt season. It's always sweatshirt season.

SPEAKER_01

Always sweatshirt season. Alright, is there anything else before the game you don't have? Well, I'm asking chat GPT for a game right now. Provide five question trivia, multiple choice. For what? Well, our topic should be about Paris. Okay, there we go. Everything's about Paris this week. Let's see what I get. Okay, here we go. These are easy, but it's what I got. So you'll probably get five out of five. But this is a chat GPT on the fly thing. What do you got? Okay. What is the nickname often given to Paris? A, the eternal city, B, the City of Lights, C, the Pearl of Europe, D, the Royal Capital.

SPEAKER_02

B Correct. The City of Lights. It was nice to see the Eiffel Tower in that wrong Paris all lit up so good. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Which famous Parisian landmark was originally criticized as an eyesore when it was built? The Louvre, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Arctic Triumph, or the Eiffel Tower? The Eiffel Tower. Correct. But some people would say the Louvre. The Louvre, yeah. I agree with you. That was a little tricky, Chat GPT. What river flows through Paris? The Thames, the Seine, the Danube, or the Rhine? The Seine. Very good. Which world famous museum in Paris is home to the Mona Lisa?

SPEAKER_02

Did you ever see the Mona Lisa? Yeah, of course. Yeah. No, me too. But disappointing. But when you go back to Paris, you don't go back to see the Mona Lisa, right? No, never. Like I saw it once. And I'll never see it again. No, there's no reason to. It's very disappointing. Oh yeah, okay. The Louvre, the Louvre.

SPEAKER_01

Correct. But before we get to question five, my mom was bugging me to go to the Anne Frank exhibit in New York City. Oh, I love that. I went to it. Yeah, why you can say something bad about Anne Frank? I was a little disappointed in the size of the hiding space. I thought the size was I'm like, 800 square feet is worth 1.2 million in New York City. Not so bad. She had a bathroom. I live in 700 square feet. Right. So Anne Frank, granted, there's seven people living in that space. Where is it? Where is the exhibit? It's on 15 West 16th Street. I want to go to it. Yeah, but you can be in and out like that. It's quick. And funny, my girlfriend and I, we did Anne Frank, and then we went to the comedy underground.

SPEAKER_02

Oh God. In the same night.

SPEAKER_01

So he had the most depressing. There's something funny about Anne Frank. I mean, it's the way to bet do the balancing. You're miserable, and then you go and laugh your head off. Okay, last question. Yes. What is the main avenue that stretches from Arc de Tri de Triomphe to Place Place de la Concorde? My French is bad. Champs Elizabeth. You need the airpods. I do. Boulevard Saint Germain, Rue de Rivoli, or Avenue Montegene. Whatever.

SPEAKER_02

The Champs de whatever.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, Champs.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, five out of five. Thanks, Paris. Just means I need to go back. All right, not. I mean, you gotta get with it. You gotta get with it. I just totally forgot.

SPEAKER_01

Because you know what? When we had our pre-pro, you didn't say, and you're gonna do the game, because I would have written it down. So I blame you for no game. Of course you do.

SPEAKER_02

All right. Cheers to my fresca. Have a good week, everybody. Go football teams. Fingers crossed. Love ya.
