SPEAKER_01

This week on We Need to Talk. We talk the finale of Imperfect Women, Running Points, Season 2. And have you ever texted your ex? I hope not. Where are you today?

SPEAKER_00

Sitting in a different spot. I am my roommate from college's guest house. Oh, I didn't know you were on location. Yeah, it was like a spur of the moment.

SPEAKER_01

She's got a guest house. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's really nice. Two bedrooms, bathroom, very nice kitchen. Lake Wall and Pile Pack.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know where that is.

SPEAKER_00

That's in Pennsylvania. Oh, that's far. It's two hours from where we live.

SPEAKER_01

Not spontaneous.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Cheers. Happy Sunday. I'm frozen, but I am drinking Hampton water because it should be in May, Hampton water season.

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's early May. I wore my winter coat to take the dogs out this morning. It was cold. It's freezing. It's never too cold for Hamden Water.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I'm excited. I want to be warm drinking Hampton water outside.

SPEAKER_00

Soon. It's coming. It's coming. I promise you.

SPEAKER_01

So it's Christmas, but all right.

SPEAKER_00

Don't go to Christmas yet.

SPEAKER_01

No, I can't go to Christmas. I mean, come on. I can't go to Christmas. And we had our derby. I can't even believe I lost so many bets. Yeah, I lost two, but I cannot believe that it was the first woman trainer in the world that we're living in in 2026.

SPEAKER_00

How could this be? Don't you remember we watched the Netflix show about horses?

SPEAKER_01

Yes, and I loved it.

SPEAKER_00

Training and stuff. And remember there was that woman who was trying to break in as a jockey. Yes. And she explained that it's really still a very male-dominated world. From owners to trainers to jockeys, it's still very male-dominant. Good for her.

SPEAKER_01

I watched her excitement 10 times this morning. Oh, yeah. And that horse was bonkers. Did you see where that horse came from? From nowhere. Oh my god, that's amazing. So congratulations. Yeah, I lost money too, but you know what? I'm really happy.

SPEAKER_00

We were rooting for that so happy horse because of the story you told me about. Yeah, I of course I was rooting for the so happy horse.

SPEAKER_01

I've been watching that story all week crying. The horse stories really get me.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like horses only get spoken about this time of the year, and then we all forget about horses.

SPEAKER_01

Oh God, I love it. I just love it.

SPEAKER_00

It's true. Horses are sort of only in our world for about four weeks a year. Not Dave Portnory.

SPEAKER_01

No, well, he had a horse running in the Oaks. I love the Derby. I love everything about it. And now we have Belmont. We have the Creakness. It's all good, and I'm still gonna watch, but it's just not as good as the Derby.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_01

It's just so fun. It's a big day because I had Star Wars Day at Yankee Stadium.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and a good game, great game.

SPEAKER_01

Which was freezing, but okay.

SPEAKER_00

It was cold there.

SPEAKER_01

Then the Derby. Yeah, Star Wars Day. And Formula One. Formula One. It was a big day. And then we found out who the Knicks are going to play in the second round, and that is the 76ers.

SPEAKER_00

Just shocking.

SPEAKER_01

Which I hate both those teams. I'm watching that game, hoping for like something to crash down in the arena and eliminate.

SPEAKER_00

I know, but I really can't believe it's 76ers. Is Ed gonna go to Philadelphia? It's really enemy territory in Philadelphia. But he went to Atlanta.

SPEAKER_01

I know, but people are nice in Atlanta, and there's a lot of transplants. He's not gonna go to Philadelphia, get killed. Fucking kill you. It's the same thing in Boston. This is not a happy depot.

SPEAKER_00

I know you don't go to Boston. I thought maybe Philly.

SPEAKER_01

You don't go anywhere.

SPEAKER_00

Don't go anywhere. Well, he did. He had a rock star day. Please. He's so proud of himself. I'm proud of him. He got up in the morning, flew down to Atlanta, went to the Hawks Knicks game, blowout crazy bizarro game. Bizarro. Got a room, flew up. Why kind of a game? That's great.

SPEAKER_01

Well, now that you're retired, you can be spontaneous.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I know. I had a good last week of work. I sort of treated Friday like a retirement day. So I walked to do all my errands in town. I went to the library. I went to the bank. I went to the post office. I did throw. I did all my, but I walked. It's great. And then I came home. I got waxed. I went to the gym. I went to see the devil wears Prada.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, really good first retirement day. I love that. How is the movie? The movie was a seven out of ten. I was today. It's just nice to see our people back.

SPEAKER_00

They're all back. How do they look? Everyone looks great. Everybody looks amazing. There's a lot of great cameos.

SPEAKER_01

OG, OG. OG Cameo. He's also in Friends and Neighbors this week. Your Friends and Neighbors. Who? OG from the from the Knicks. He was in Friends and Your Friends and Neighbors this week. Oh. Yeah. Because well, he was in a Devil West Prada because Ann Hathaway loves him. He's a huge Knicks fan. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Loves him. And now taking credit for the win.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, is she? All right. So seven out of ten. Honestly, you could stay home and watch it soon. It's that kind of a movie. It's the subject matter is a little depressing. I think it was just because of my headspace that I'm leaving my career because the world's changing, and this is all about how the magazine world is changing. And yeah, yeah. You know, so it was a little on the depressing side, but the clothes are amazing and the cameos are fun and New York is great. And some great restaurants they were at, also. So I love to see that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Did I may go today because it's freezing?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Seven out of ten. I bet you'll agree with me. All right. Great.

SPEAKER_01

So before we get into our show, I've had a week.

SPEAKER_00

Give it to me. I've had a week too, but let's see what your week was like.

SPEAKER_01

I've had a week. Thank God it ended on a high note with a nice derby story. Oh Yankee win. But so at the beginning of the week. And this is not this isn't funny. None of this is funny. I just feel like everything's funny. I'm actually making a terrible story about me, which is typical for me, but okay. Can anything be worse than kimono gate? I mean, so my cousin's mom passed away. My cousin's a loyal listener to the show. We're so sorry for her loss. His loss, his loss.

SPEAKER_00

His loss. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So he his mom passed away. And you know, when I'm driving in a car, I'm always talking to Siri to write my text, or Apple Play is playing my text. But I feel like even when I'm not driving, I'm also talking to Siri a lot to text. That's which is lazy, but it happens. Anyway. Well, you're in your car a lot. You need Siri's help. Obviously, you can't text and drive everyone safety first. So I want to text my cousin that I love him because I just heard from you know the rest of my family what happened. So I do that. I say, I love you, XO. That's my text. I love you, XO. Okay. We're about three to four minutes after that text.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. You're in the car, you're still driving. Luckily, in this circumstance, there was traffic.

SPEAKER_01

Because I look at my phone and I texted my ex-husband. I love you XO. Okay. Now my ex-husband and my cousin have the same name. And now I'm freaking the fuck out. Mind you, the last time I texted my ex-husband, which was a long time ago with like a tragic death in his family. He wrote back, Who is this? I'm pretty confident he has me blocked. But I now undo, right? Three, four minutes, I undo the text. But when you when you undo a text, it does say your name under the text, right? So I'm freaking the fuck out. I'm laughing and not laughing at the same time. I'm so distraught by what happened that I never even texted my cousin until the next day.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

So now I call Ed and I call my sister, but I get Ed first. And Ed's like, you know what your problem is? Your problem is you don't have last names. You need to have last names in your phone. So I go, what? That's my problem.

SPEAKER_00

Like wait, wait, stop the clock. What do you mean you don't have last names in your phone? I don't have last names in my phone.

SPEAKER_01

So why? So I call my sister. Do you have last names in your phone? Yes. Of course I do. I said, you have my first and last name. She goes, no, that she goes, no, that would be weird, but everybody else I have.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Like I don't have my sister's last name, but I have I have your last name. So I don't.

SPEAKER_01

In my phone, I have cousin John, and then I have John, the ex-John. Just John, then cousin John. You have two Johns in your whole phone. Mary didn't say to me, Do you want to text John? Or do you want to text cousin John? There's a million questions these people ask me all the time.

SPEAKER_00

That day was not one of those days. I think it's time to take ex-husband John out of the phone.

SPEAKER_01

That's what I was gonna say. There's two schools of thought. There's the Ed school of thought who doesn't even question why I have John. It's just like you need to have last names.

SPEAKER_00

And then there's your school of thought that says, why is he still in your phone? I feel like the statute of limitations on having your ex-husband in your phone has run out and it's time to delete him.

SPEAKER_01

The thing is, I don't have last names. This is insane to not have any last names. No. So now I gotta go back and change everything to have last names. That's gonna take so too long. I don't have that kind of time.

SPEAKER_00

I just don't understand how you operate with no last names at all. You know what I think it's important to do?

SPEAKER_01

Possible, especially when it's spring, you know, like it's spring now, spring cleaning. Maybe I need to go through my contacts and get rid of some people in general.

SPEAKER_00

Uh yes, you should. And when you're going through them, add the names. How do you not have this is bizarre behavior to not have last names?

SPEAKER_01

That's what happened to me this week.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. How do you have 10 people named Chris or 10 people named Bob or whatever? Nah, I don't know. I don't know. What do you say? Like City John or City, like country Bob. Like, what do you write? How do you tell the difference?

SPEAKER_01

I have people's nicknames, or I have cousin John, but I didn't say cousin John. I just said John. And there it is. So then my ex, I love you, ex up.

SPEAKER_00

No last names is crazy to me. No last names and ex-husband in the phone. All bad.

SPEAKER_01

All right. Well, here that was my week. So I thought it was gonna really be a doozy, just a doozy, but the next one, and you know, there's some positive things that came out of the week.

SPEAKER_00

Wait, I have a weird story like that too. Almost as weird, but not quite. So my friend Regina became a grandmother last week, I guess. And I sent a baby gift. And I use this person called Sherry, who has this company called the Paint Tube, and they make specialty customized things with the kid's name. It takes time to get the gift. So when you send the order through, Sherry sends a card to the people saying a gift has been purchased for you from Christy Karuba. Now, Regina is divorced from her husband, Jim. I despise Jim. He's not in my phone anymore. Now, so Regina's son's name is Michael, his wife's name is Emily. So Regina sends me a picture of the card that the paint tube sent to Emily and Michael, and it says Emily and Jim, which is Regina's ex-husband who we hate. And but I never gave the paint tube that information. So when I texted Sherry to say, hey, this is bizarro, you know, what happened, and she said, Oh, I had so many orders, I must mix up the names. But to mix up the name was Regina's ex-husband, who I hate. Yeah, that's very weird, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's freaky. Not as freaky as texting your ex. I love this one. Yeah. Well, okay.

SPEAKER_00

And Mercury is not even in retrograde, so it's not even the universe doing weird things. I checked.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my goodness. All right. Well, yeah, that's maybe we got a lot of comments about diners. Yeah, because Ed's bugging, everyone loves a diner.

SPEAKER_00

You know, his comment of why he doesn't like a diner is stupid. Because he said the reason he doesn't like diners is because one place can't do everything well. But guess what? Diners do everything well. Yeah, I don't understand that. That's a stupid excuse. That's a stupid excuse. Yeah. I like diners because you can get anything you want at any time of the day. Me too. Love it. It's great. You want breakfast for dinner? Fries and gravy. We also got a lot of comments about our lab diamonds. Yes, we did. And I did a lot of research. And all of the governing bodies have deemed lab-grown diamonds as diamonds. So there's no stigma attached to it. My friend Amy has a friend or a guy in the lab-grown world. So that's the next step. But first I have to get my ears fixed because the holes are still broken.

SPEAKER_01

Again, I'm gonna say what I said last week. When you go on to, I'm just using Tiffany's as an example. When you go onto Tiffany's website, it specifically says that we do not use correct lab-grown diamonds. But how would anybody know? They wouldn't. They could charge me 25 grand and really I could be getting a lab diamond. I would never know.

SPEAKER_00

Right, because there's only this one machine that you put the stone into the machine, and the machine will turn red if the diamond is a lab-grown diamond. That's the only way anybody would know. I'm all in. I'm all in too. I'm gonna find the guy and get my ears. Get the guy, and we need all the lab grown stuff we can do. I'm on it. I'm on it. Wait, I have to tell you this funny story. When I was leaving Macy's on my last day, which was Thursday, normally we have this Thursday meeting where the whole team goes into the meeting. If somebody's leaving, you would know. But we didn't have them. Did you cry when you left? A little, but not much. I was sort of like, peace out, motherfuckers. Yeah, right. But my bosses never had the big meeting to announce my departure. The only way people knew is if I told them or if word spread. Uh-huh. So my boss took my team out for lunch on Wednesday. And then on Thursday, I I had to turn in my computer. So there was nothing I could do after 11:30. And I said to my boss, Should I go home? Like, what do I do? And she was like, Well, I'm leaving early, so you can just go. And I was like, Okay, fine. But part of our team was gonna do something in the three o'clock meeting. So these girls, all these cute little girls and that we work with, they come over and they have flowers and they have crispy cream donuts and baked by Melissa cupcakes and all this stuff. And I said, I'm not gonna be at the meeting. So they're like, take this all home. I'm like, I don't want to take it home. So they so I gave some of it to some co-workers for later, but they ended up giving me a bag to take the flowers and the cupcakes home in. So I walk out of Maisy's with my stuff in a Target bag. The bag they gave me to take it home. Oh my god. And I was just like, now this is ironic. Amazing. That sounds nice, though. It was very, very nice. And apparently they ended up having the three o'clock meeting. So I missed it. Bummer.

SPEAKER_01

All right.

SPEAKER_00

Peace out, motherfuckers.

SPEAKER_01

Peace out, motherfuckers. Oh, it's so good.

SPEAKER_00

I love it. Yeah, so it's just funny to walk out with the target back.

SPEAKER_01

I was going to say before, speaking of fucked up women, that imperfect woman show ended.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. You guys, if you didn't watch Imperfect Women, this show took such a turn.

SPEAKER_01

So I'm not gonna ruin the ending for anybody because it's like a crazy ending. Yeah, it just came out this week. Give some people some time to watch it. But I enjoyed the show. I would say it's a stream it show. I agree. I thought the last few minutes of the show were bizarre. Like the party? I just thought it was bizarre. I hope it doesn't come back. It's unnecessary. No, no, no, no, no, no. It can't come back. I know we say that every time, and then these things come back.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But definitely an enjoyable show and a stream it if you want to stream it, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Also, Rooster. Rooster's fine. If you want to watch it, watch it. If you don't, don't. I'm not gonna say it's must see TV. I'm not gonna say stream it. It's fine. Yeah. I mean, I enjoyed it.

SPEAKER_01

I wasn't dying to watch it each week. No. It's the same thing that we've said for weeks now. It's like nothing special. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Not special, not new. But Running Point season two came back. I am not done with it yet. I'm on episode nine. I finished it. I think season two was better than season one.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think it's better, but I thought it was just as good and it didn't have a sophomore slump. No. And it ends with a cliffhanger.

SPEAKER_00

So I don't know what the cliffhanger is, so don't tell me.

SPEAKER_01

No, I'm not gonna tell you. And it's great, enjoyable. We said it last week. It's enjoyable. She looks great, all good. Oh, I have to say, I fucking love Kathy Hilton so much.

SPEAKER_00

So it was reunion episode two. So there's gonna be three total, correct? Yeah, so we have one left, but this was the one where she is gonna be on the panel, and she gets out of her car in rollers, and she has 50 bags of shit. She takes a phone call on the set. Her phone's ringing. She's like, one minute, gotta take this.

SPEAKER_01

And then she gets scammed by some fucking jello diet.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, the jello diet thing. I that happened. I didn't do it. I don't know what it is. It's this gelatin diet that they say Kelly Clarkson believed worked for her.

SPEAKER_01

But is it she said it's AI? It's all a scam. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

But I believed it for the longest time. I didn't do it, but I did believe it. And a lot of people have fallen for that scam. There's also, I'm trying to figure out this woman who's like an Amish lady named Nina Yoder who does health tips. And now they're saying she's AI. If she's AI, I'm gonna fucking lose my shit because I'm obsessed with her. I don't know who that is either. She's this lady, she's Amish, she wears the bonnet, she wears the outfit, and she has this giant book of the human body and medicine, and it's all natural ways to cure things. Like now she's talking about olive oil and lemon shots. And she'll say, if you wake up with your sock lines on your legs, you need to do this. And there's all these health tips, but now they're saying she's not even real.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but maybe those health tips are real, it's just an AI person saying that.

SPEAKER_00

Right, but the only reason I was obsessed with it is because I'm like, well, Amish people don't go to doctors, and Amish people they don't use modern medicine and modern technology. So if this works for the Amish, maybe it'll work for me. If she's fake, I'm gonna lose it. That's actually really funny.

SPEAKER_01

You don't know what nobody knows what's real or not real anymore. No, I have no idea. Are you nobody knows? Are you AI? Right, it could be AI. Like nobody knows. Nobody knows.

SPEAKER_00

I need to do some deep dives on this Nina Yoder thing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but when she said she did a gelatin diet, and then Oprah Winfrey, and she said all these people, and then she said she lost two pounds in one day, and now she gained water weight, and she couldn't fit into anything. This woman is unbelievable. It just goes to show stars, they're just like us. Oh my god, she is unbelievable. Listen, I know everybody's tired of me saying that I'm done with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but everybody should be watching the Real Housewives of Rhode Island, by the way. But I'm all caught up on Rhode Island. It's so good. But I will say this the Dorit show, even Andy's getting annoyed at her. Yeah, it's enough already. You're so angry, you're so nasty. Andy's trying to say something, and you could see his face. He's like, Well, because of this, like he's being sarcastic, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I just feel like maybe it's time to completely reboot. Well, we've said that for years and no one does it. Well, Kyle doesn't want to leave, right? She's the OG of Housewives now. She's the longest-running housewife ever. 15 years.

SPEAKER_01

She did say though that the show ruined her marriage. Yeah, of course it did. Yeah, I know. How could the show? But it's not just the show, it's also social media.

SPEAKER_00

But if you're gonna get into this world, you have to know that social media is gonna come after you and you're not gonna be able to hide your secrets. Look at this Rhode Island guy who's having an affair. Oh my god. Everybody knows. Why are you on the show, you dumb fuck? Also, if your wife agrees to go on a real housewife show, you better not be having an affair.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, he's so dumb. And the woman he's having an affair with, she posts on social media.

SPEAKER_00

So funny.

SPEAKER_01

It's just lunacy, but I love it. JP Morgan, made up fucking story. This world is okay.

SPEAKER_00

For anybody who knows the story, the J of this woman at JP Morgan is being accused of sexually abusing a subordinate employee.

SPEAKER_01

And it's a made up story by the guy, right? The guy made up the story.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yes, because this world we Live in is fucking bonkers. It's just crazy. Again, how does he think he's not gonna get caught? I don't know. It's all nuts. I mean you're nuts. And also, what did he have to gain by that?

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

But when it first came out, I was all in. I was like, holy shit. I'm still all in. And now it's fake. It's like, what is happening? Everything is fake. Everything is fake. Olivia Rodvigo was on SNL last night. I didn't watch that yet. I watched the clips this morning. She's just so pretty. I just love her. She's so cute. I know. I do love her. She looked great. She sounded great. Did she have a new album out? Yes. Yes, yes. And she's releasing her new album and she has a tour, the whole thing. She's cute as a box. Did you happen to watch this week's Survivor yet?

SPEAKER_00

Or you're not doing it.

SPEAKER_01

No, I am going to do it because Mr. Beast was on it and Paul said I needed to watch it. So I'm going to watch it.

SPEAKER_00

The episode of Survivor was crazy, amazing. And see, I want to talk about what happened, but I don't want to tell you what happened if you didn't see it and you're going to watch it. You can talk about it. I'm still going to watch it. Okay. So at Tribal, Mr. Beast comes on and he has a suitcase with a million dollars in it. Okay. And there's a coin that you can flip. And if the person who's going to flip the coin, if they get it right, then they're safe from eviction. The pot goes from a million to two million, and there is going to be a vote. If they get it wrong, the pot stays the same. And the person who flipped the coin is evicted. So it's a very big deal, right? Huge. And Rick Devons, right away, because everybody's like, I don't want to flip the coin. Who do we let flip the coin? Like it's a strategic move. Right. And Rick Devins is like, I will totally flip the coin. Like right off the bat, he's in, he wants to flip the coin. And some people don't want him to flip the coin, but nobody else really wants to flip the coin because if you get it wrong, you're evicted out, right? Yeah. So they all agree that Rick Devons is gonna flip the coin. He calls, you know, whatever, heads, and he gets it right. So the pot goes to 2 million, he's safe, and now they gotta vote somebody off. So this is all live right away. They all have to make decisions. And all day at camp, you didn't know who was being voted out. It was a loony scene. There were names all over the place. And in tribal, live tribal, everybody whispering, everybody going back and forth, no one knows what's going on. And Stephanie ends up going home, which was unbelievable in itself. But the fact that now it's two million because of this Mr. Beast twist, you gotta see it. That's never happened ever before.

SPEAKER_01

Well, none of this shit's ever happened.

SPEAKER_00

But this they've had all these weird things all season, the Jimmy Fallon twist, the Julie Eilish twist, and all these things. But this Mr. Beast one was the best thing ever. All right, gotta watch that. So good.

SPEAKER_01

Mr. Beast. All right. His name is Jimmy. I know, I know. Speaking of reality, Hacks this week had an amazing race, which was so good. Oh my god, so funny. They were supposedly on the amazing race, doing the challenges. It was just amazing. I know we keep saying it, but what a great season of hat. Some people have said to me they didn't think it was that good.

SPEAKER_00

I think it's really good. And I don't like when they're fighting. I like this. Yeah, we like when they're all on the same page. I was so uncomfortable with them fighting. We said that during the whole time. Like, don't waste our time on this fighting and bringing them back together. We like them as a team. Right.

SPEAKER_01

Looking at my contacts now. Is there a way to see how many contacts you have, like a number? I think so. Let me check.

SPEAKER_00

Like, I have a lot of contacts. If you go, yes, if you go into your contacts, yeah, and then you go, yeah, like see here. Can you see?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I have 396 contacts.

SPEAKER_00

I have 580 contacts, all have last names, and every one of your contacts has a last name. Every single one has a last name. That's bonkers. Okay, I have a new Pilates instructor. Her name is Alana. I don't know her last name, so she's Alana the Pilates instructor. You know what else I do, which now I'm looking at my contacts. I mean, how do you I have five Anthony's?

SPEAKER_01

How would I not know? Look, you know what else I do, which is looking at my contacts is fucking hilarious. I put things in parentheses. For what? So you have time to punctuate, but you don't have time to put the last name in. I say Elise, and then in parentheses, I write Yankee because it's my contact at Yankee Stadium. I write, I write things in parentheses.

SPEAKER_00

I would put Elise on the first name, and then Yankee Stadium would go in the company name. What do you need parentheses for? What's wrong with you?

SPEAKER_01

My friend's sister, right? And so I have Jen. Pauline's sister in parentheses. Pauline's sister.

SPEAKER_00

Because I have multiple gens. That's why. That's fine. I don't understand why you're punctuating and using extra steps to put parentheses in when you could write Jen, Pauline's sister, with no parentheses. You won't even write anybody's last name.

SPEAKER_01

That's how I distinguish John. I said cousin John, but I didn't tell Siri cousin John. Shouldn't it still say to me which John? Like I bet you if I say, Hey Siri, text Jen, it's gonna come up with, hey Siri, text Jen. Wait, hold on, I'm doing an experiment. No, no, I came up with one Jen. See, I don't understand. Usually it will say which gen.

SPEAKER_00

This just goes to show AI is not exactly perfect yet, people. Man, all right. You gotta fix your phone.

SPEAKER_01

I gotta fix my phone. All right. Do we have anything else we'd like to discuss? Your retirement. What's your week look like this week before we get to our game? I actually have a very busy first full retired week.

SPEAKER_00

I have a very busy week. I have a dentist appointment on Monday. Sounds terrible. And Pilates. On Tuesday, I have a vet appointment and the gym. On Wednesday. This all sounds terrible. No, but I mean I could do it whenever I want. I'm going Thursday to my food bank training. Terrible. And I'll I go on Saturday. I'm doing the house tours in New York City again. Oh, you love that. I love that. Yeah, that's I mean, I have a lot other stuff, but you know what I want to also do? I want to, in the middle of the day, go see the Michael Jackson movie. Or about it, just take a nap. I love that. I don't nap. I never nap. I'm not a napper. Oh, I would love to just lay down. All right. I know I'll lay down. I'm not napping.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, same thing.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

After accidentally texting my ex-husband this week, I decided that this week's game should be about celebrity exes because I'm a celebrity, right? So a celebrity ex. Let's let's play. We need to talk celebrity X-Files.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I like the name. Celebrity X-Files.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you so much.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Parentheses. John's ex-husband.

SPEAKER_01

Parentheses. I just have you as Christy. So I know Christy, you know. No, but I have other Christie. So, like I have a Christy, and in parentheses is school. Know this person from school. I also know her last name, no? Yes. All right, hold on. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anison announced their separation in January of 2005. They first got together in 1998. How did they meet? A. On the set of office space. B, when Brad appeared as a guest star on Friends. C on a blind date.

SPEAKER_00

Or D, none of the above. I don't think it was any of those ways they met. It wasn't on a blind date. Was it? It definitely wasn't on Friends, and it definitely wasn't on Office Space. So I'm gonna have to go with none of the above.

SPEAKER_01

On a blind date. Oh, it was a blind date. Their managers set them up on a blind date in 1998, and Brad appeared as a guest on Friends 2001 after they were married. I remember Katie Holmes had a longtime crush on Tom Cruise. Yes. They got together in 2005 and were married for seven years. On which talk show did Tom famously jump on the couch while talking about his love for Katie. Was it the tonight show with Jay Leto, the late show with David Letterman, the Oprah Winfrey show, or none of the above?

SPEAKER_00

Oprah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she's I was watching that show live, people. Oprah, who is not on the gelatin diet, by the way. No, she is not. She's on GLP Ones. Yes, she is. Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey met in 1998. They married in 2002 and they starred in MTV's newlywed from 2003 to 2005, which, by the way, was an amazing show.

SPEAKER_00

It was so good.

SPEAKER_01

Which product? Can that be rewatched? Because it could be. I don't know. Which product did Jessica boost sales for after mentioning it on the show? Is it chicken of the sea? I can't believe it's not butter, Red Bull, or none of the above.

SPEAKER_00

I think that's the tuna fish situation with them. So chicken of the sea, because she thought it was chicken and it's tuna, right? She said, Is this chicken or is this fish?

SPEAKER_01

It's the baddest thing ever. Honestly, I was just saying it. The moment went viral and boosted sales for chicken of the sea. But Ed and I were just talking about it. If there was social media then, like there is now, that would have been unreal. Like TMZ ran with it and everybody ran with it. But is this fish or chicken? And she's like, I know it's tuna, but it says chicken. Oh my god, so God. Okay, good. You got that right. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are married but now separated. They first met in 1994 when Jada auditioned for a role on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Which film did they star in together? Was it Independence Day, Wild Wild West, Ali, or none of the above?

SPEAKER_00

I don't remember Ali. She wasn't in Wild Wild West, was she? No. I don't think they were in any of those movies together. None of the above.

SPEAKER_01

It's Ali. She plays his first wife.

SPEAKER_00

Damn it. I have two and two, so I need to get this done.

SPEAKER_01

You need to get this one on. Demi Moore has two high-profile ex-husbands, Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher. Yes. But before them, she was married once before. Who was her first husband? Was it Dudley Moore, Roger Moore, Freddie Moore, or none of the above?

SPEAKER_00

It was Freddie Moore.

SPEAKER_01

Yes!

SPEAKER_00

That's really how I know that, I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know how you knew that either. And you know what else is crazy about it? She kept his name.

SPEAKER_00

All these years.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, her maiden name is like Gins or something like that. I don't even know what her maiden name is. It's like crazy to pronounce, but she kept it all these years.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because it doesn't match her kid's last name, which I always found interesting because she could have been Demi Willis.

SPEAKER_01

Right. All right, so you won the game.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I like when I win.

SPEAKER_01

Good job, everyone. All right, so let's go, Nyx. Let's have a week. Let's enjoy your first week of retirement. Let's have some rose outside. Maybe the weather will it will.

SPEAKER_00

The weather's gonna be great. You can have your rose outside while you're changing your contacts with last names. This is ridiculous.

SPEAKER_01

Don't text your ex-husband, everyone.

SPEAKER_00

Don't text your ex-husband.

SPEAKER_01

My advice to you for this week.

SPEAKER_00

Take all exes out of your phone this week.

SPEAKER_01

Love you.

SPEAKER_00

Love you. So funny.
