π¬ Question of the Week
Are you a producer or a consumer? Tell us where you land β and where your friends and family fall too!
We're on a roll. Our shows are fucking good. We have a lot to speak. I mean, seriously, our show should be so much bigger than it is. I know. Because our shows are really good.
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_00People need to start really sharing and telling their friends. Why is word of mouth not working for people? I listen to a lot of podcasts now, just in my free time, taking a walk. And I gotta say, our show's good. I agree with you. All right, ready? I'm ready. Do the opening. Go. This week, all we need to talk. We talk crazy people in Toxic Love Story. Of course, big brother. And Christy bit someone. All right, good morning. Happy Sunday. Happy Sunday. Sweating. I'm hungover. I got tequila sweats. It's really not good. It's not good. What were you doing yesterday? It sounds like fun. We celebrated my sister-in-law's 50th. Oh, that was her 50th? Yeah, she actually turned 50 at the beginning of July. But because they were going to be out here, we decided to celebrate it yesterday. So we got actually got a taco truck. Oh come to the house. So we had all Mexican thieves. We started with breakfast burritos. Nice. Then the taco truck came with margaritas, tacos, quesadillas. Yeah, it was a fun celebration, but you know, you feel it today. Oh, I'm sure you do. It was also really hot yesterday. So, what are you drinking in that cup with a rooster on it? Thank God we're not on video today because this is not appropriate. You don't drink an afternoon beverage in a cup that has a rooster on it. No, just a morning cup. Correct. It's very hard to get good plastic glassware for outside. Yesterday I was struggling a little. But are you saying disposable or just nice plastic wear? I've been looking for a really nice set for years. I have the same set that I bought when I first bought my outdoor furniture, and it's so old. Yeah. I want something nice, and I can't find what I'm looking for. I buy the glasses and then they get shitty from year to year. So then you gotta look again. It's it's like a hunt every time. I need wine glasses. Yesterday we needed margarita. It was just bizarre. It's and you have a lot of glasses, so that's really hard to process when you have a whole bunch of glasses. But I will say, I've been looking for many years. I don't know if you can see this. I've been looking for the perfect one glass of iced tea cup that I could take with me, but stay as cold. This is not disposable. Oh, on the go, you mean? I need an on the go. Yeah, just because I can carry it around. It's glass. But see, the thing about this is you can put three giant ice cubes in it, make your iced tea, pour it in, goes to the exact right spot. That's good. And it comes with a glass straw and the thing to clean the straw. Yeah, because the glass straws are annoying. And this lid totally snaps in, it does not leak. This is the best iced tea glass I've ever found. We're always looking for some type of glass. It was hard to find what I was looking for, but I found it. If anybody out there does drink iced tea and wants a good iced tea glass, let me know because I found it. You know what a funny conversation we were having yesterday in my family, because they're so just fucking nuts in general. But we were talking about the different types of people. My brother's like, there are two type two types of people: there's producers and there's consumers. And he was going around to everybody in my family who they were, producer or a consumer. And then we were talking about friends. It was like a fun game to think about. Are there two producers married to each other? Is it a producer and a rich is a producer, he is not a consumer. Yeah, Rich is a producer. Totally. I'm a consumer. You're a consumer, you think? I don't know because how are you guys defining as producing? I've run this house. Does that mean that I'm a producer? I think I'm more of a consumer than a producer. You're such a consumer. Yeah, that's what I'm going with. I could be a both. Yeah, you could be on the spectrum. Yeah. I'm teetering between producer and consumer. Yeah. But it's funny, like when you start going through the people in your life and you start trying to think about are they producers or consumers? And like we were laughing so hard. My sister, number one consumer, number one. We were cracking up. You're a consumer. Does that mean you literally produce nothing? Your majority is consumption. Oh no, my majority is not consumption. I think I'm more of a producer. Like loyal listener Joe is a consumer, but he does things, not like he doesn't do things, but for the majority, he's a consumer. My sister is, she's got a career, it's all awesome, but most part consumer. Consumer. Yeah, yeah. And it's funny because producer ed is actually a consumer. I think producer ed is a producer. I think he's a consumer. You too? I'm so much more of a consumer. Maybe because when you're with him, he's more of a producer, but when I'm with him, he's a consumer. You start to think about yourself as a couple, and you can't do that. You have to separate him. Because I started to think to myself, well, I'm definitely more of a consumer than Ed. He's totally a producer. Yeah, he's a producer. Yeah. So all he really does is produce. Dude, it's August, and August sucks. But all right. I like August because it's LBI month. No, I hate August because it's just it's the end, isn't it? You've been talking about the end since the day after summer started. You're like, summer's over. There's only one positive. This is the last weekend of no football until February 20th. Yes, that's awesome. So happy. I can't wait for football season. I saw this morning that the guy from The Sopranos, Big Pussy, died. He was a Knicks guy, too, right? Yeah, he could have been. Most of them are Knicks guys. He was 80. But sad. So you can't. Maybe he's hanging out with my mom somewhere. Cheers to Big Pussy. It's funny that that's what he's known as, Big Pussy. That's your legacy. I know, but that's your legacy. Speaking of the Knicks for a second, because I was thinking about people in the stands, and I checked out that show, Furious, which is the girl from Shameless. She's a big fan. Emmy Rossom. She's a big Knicks fan. That's why. I tried to watch the first episode, and it was so disturbing to me that I turned it off. Really? Yeah. But I really miss her. I don't. I like her a lot. I loved her in Shameless. I stopped watching the show when she was gone. And I couldn't believe that I looked her up, still only 39. Still so young, and she was in Shameless with so many years. And then she was Well, Shameless was what? 10 seasons? There were three episodes that dropped. Tell people what it's about. It's dark. I feel like I've just had these dark shows. And I'm watching Widows Bay right now, which is hilariously funny, but also scary and creepy. Hold on about before you talk about that. She's a cop who has got a checkered past, also. Right. And they're working on this case. So now she's with the FBI. Right. Because she she left because her boyfriend was a cop also and beating her up. It's really terrible. But then she gets put back kind of on this case where this woman is killing wealthy guys. But bad people. Bad people, wealthy guys, and in horrible ways. Yes. It is disturbing. I agree with you. I'm saying because I enjoy seeing her. She's back. From the episode I watched, is there anybody else famous in that show that I would like to? Yeah, the boyfriend. Who's the boyfriend? Maybe I didn't get that far. He was in that apple show, which with Annette Benning. The one that we're watching now? No, no, no. The show, the title has an apple in it. Annette Benning was in it. You'll recognize him. The boyfriend is the only other person I knew. Okay. I mean, this week's a big week of new shows, so I don't know that I need to go back to Furious, but it's okay. This is why I know summer's over because this week is still on my radar. Hoover, stop saying something. This week a lot of things drop and now it's here. Like the taco truck. That was all the way August 1st. And now it's here. Now it's over. And I just what's left? Just my hangover and a bunch of burritos from yesterday. You know, when you retire, and I know someday you will, every day is like summer. It's just the weather changes, but it's enjoyable. Nice. I look forward to my LBI. Then I got a vacation after my LBI. But that's because that's you're living a different lifestyle. I'm living a lovely lifestyle. I really am. I really am. Rich has 10 days of work left. That's it. That's crazy. I know. So speaking of birthdays, there was an article that you sent me. Yeah. So let me just tell you guys this. You know how we always talk about who pays for what? I read in page six the other day that somebody showed in Little Kid's birthday party invitation, where on the invitation they're requesting tips to help pay for the staff of the party that these people hired for this little kid birthday party. And I just could not believe that. You know, we've seen a lot of things change with weddings, right? Where people are asking for more often now money towards their honeymoon. We've talked about who pays for what when you're going to someone's house or when you're going to dinner. But this is a new one that I have never heard before, where you think that you should be throwing a little kid birthday party, okay, fine. But if you can't afford to throw your little kid birthday party and you're asking for tips for the staff, don't throw the party. Or don't throw a party that requires staff. Like I just think that is one of the most disgusting things to do. You're gonna go to this party, you're gonna bring a gift, and you're gonna also ask people pay for some of the party. That's what you're asking for. Pay for the party. I understand. No, there's nothing to understand. Sometimes I've been to a party where they had a bartender, and either Ed or I gave some money to the bartender. But is there a bowl out or you just felt the need? I don't know. I don't remember the circumstance, but I feel like that's okay. Like if I had hired somebody to serve margaritas yesterday, I wouldn't say to my guests, you know, give me $50. Right. No, no, no, no, no, no. Absolutely. Emily Post would not like that. No. People don't give a fuck anymore. This generation having kids, whatever they fuck it is, no one gives a fuck. They would say, You want to come to my birthday party? $50. Like it's just so stupid. Don't have the party. Agree. People, if you can't afford to go to dinner, don't go to dinner. If you can't afford the party, don't throw the party. Nobody needs you to go to dinner. Nobody needs you to go to the party. Like, just don't do it. If you can't do it right, don't do it. If you can't afford a mocktail, don't do it. I just don't understand that at all. Toxic love story. Speak to your fucked up people. It's like number one on Netflix right now. Well, we got toxic love story, and then we also have the Idaho College murders. So we got these two lunatic things. Well, the Idaho College murders is so sad. Oh, let's get to that in a minute. This toxic love story isn't sad. These people are fucked up. Well, this is now the second documentary that we've watched where people are faking being pregnant. People. If anybody listening out there is even thinking about faking being pregnant, newsflash, you can't fake it. At some point, you gotta produce a baby. I don't know. That would mean you're a producer, not a consumer. No. That story was about this guy. He's a marshal, U.S. marshal. He's gets married to this woman, had a girlfriend before the woman, says that the ex is texting and sending evil things to the new wife, and they arrest this woman, right, and put her in jail for 88 days. Yep. Turns out she wasn't the one doing it. It was the marshal. He was doing it. And the the wife was pretending to be pregnant with twins. I didn't understand how the ex-girlfriend wasn't really able to prove that it wasn't her. Why did it take 88 days? Just look at my stuff. Like they looked at her stuff and she did send those two emails. So I guess it was enough to put her away for 88 days. But then they realized wait, something's not right. And then they go back. And the Idaho thing, one of the things I was actually really fascinated about in the Idaho Murder's case, was how they were able, speaking of tracking and looking at I mean, they did DNA testing. But they got a lot done in a short amount of time. I agree with you. That Anthony Dallinger, the chief of police, plus the FCI guy. Listen, say what you want about Idaho. They got their shit together. They solved this crime and they knew what to do and they knew how to get the crime scene handled the right way. It's also on Netflix. Sorry, listeners, it is three parts. And they have all the footage. I thought that when they showed the house being torn down, I thought that that was gonna be like, oh shit, now that the Idaho police fucked up. But it didn't really matter. It also goes to show you people, which is what we've said before. There's cameras everywhere. Yeah. They were able to piece together all the camera footage. They were able to him being in that area 23 times in the last like month. Right. And they were able to piecemeal and find that car. I know. Crazy. It was amazing. The DNA was amazing. The DNA was amazing. And they couldn't find Nancy Guthrie. What I how was that possible? Philly was jumping all over. But what I want to say about this is that the whole thing is awful, awful. But it breaks my heart that they didn't get to hear from him. Not that they want to hear from him, but he accepts a plea deal. So there's no no trial. Never speaks of why or what the motive was. Oh, you're just speculating that he hated women because you heard some of the stuff in his word. Yes, that was it. Yeah, yeah. So that part to me, I find so disturbing. But they feel like they said their piece. The two people looked right at him and the one Olivia chick, she called him out. But did you read this week he wants to turn over the plea deal and request a trial, which will never happen? No, it never happened. I mean, give me a break with that. And the two girls that survive this, oh my god. Oh my god. I don't even know how they're doing it. But like they like, well, they waited eight hours to call 911. Listen, people, no one knows what you would do in a situation. I'd be afraid to leave my room. Exactly. They found each other, they locked themselves in. I it's not till they heard the other friends come in. I understand. So there is no please, they're living with this for the rest of their fucking lives. Yeah, it is awful. And it was totally confirmed by the police that nothing they could have done would have stopped. Just horrible. Sometimes I like curse Netflix and I say, I can't believe that this is something I'm watching. It's horrible. But I don't want to give life to this guy or anything. But I feel like it was more about the people. Oh, definitely. Yeah. Their families were also. It was really about solving a crime and how good that crime solving was. Yeah. That's also on Netflix. Really good, you guys. Really, really good. They have all the footage. Kudos, Anthony Dallinger. Kudos to that guy, chief of police. Good dude. He's suffering now. Oh, yeah. You heard at the end. And listen, also good for him that he said it's hard when you're a police officer to ask for help, but I was struggling and I had to ask for help. Yeah. Kudos to that guy. Class act. Yeah. Horrible. I finished ride or die. Did you end up liking it a little bit more than you thought? Not really. But I do agree with you that it got a little bit better. It's cute. I guess it leaves you like it could be another season. Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah, but we didn't get confirmation that there's another season. No. But it leaves you like there's another season. It leaves you that way, yes. Yeah. All right. I'm gonna tell people to skip it. And I'm not gonna go out of my way to say, oh my gosh, you gotta watch it, but I enjoyed it. All right. Well, what is your thoughts on Widow's Bay? Because I tried, I said, let me try to watch the first episode, but then I fell asleep. Oh, okay. The first episode wasn't scary. Okay. I don't want to be scared. Okay, so this is what we're doing. First of all, it it is a very funny show. I know it's what I parts where we are laughing out loud, funny. But it's not funny with big jokes. It's funny just in what's going on and the things on the wall. And I gotta say, Matthew Reese, freaking brilliant. But what I do is when I think there's gonna be something scary, I put my hands over my eyes, Rich narrates and tells me, okay, that's the scary part, or there's a creepy witch with weird eyes, and I never have to see that. So I'm enjoying it. I see why people really are giving it its accolades, but there are definitely some scary things. But it's so funny. You're not selling it for me. I gotta cover it. It's nominated for the city. I don't watch M TV with Ed, who's narrating? Nobody. I watch it by myself. I have a guy, I have a producer, he's helping me. I can't do it. I do understand it because there are moments of creepiness, but I would say it's 80% fine, 20% creep. Yeah, I do like the concept though. I think of funny scary is really good. Different. I'll tell you what else is different. I know you don't watch it because you never watched Vanderpump Rules, but Stasi, she was canceled, and now she's back. I didn't know she was canceled. It was on Vanderpump Rules from the beginning, yes, and now she's back. Hulu Disney gave her a show, and she's basically like just following her current life with her husband and her sister and one of her friends that was also on Vanderpump Rules, but it's a different kind of reality show, which I kind of like. She's sitting like an interview when you talk to the producers, okay, and she kind of narrates what you're gonna see. That's kind of interesting. I know, and then it goes from present day, she's in the same brown, cute outfit, and then it goes to okay, this is what happened at this birthday party. It's kind of cool. If I don't know anything about her, should I look at the show? You probably won't care because you know, I like her, I follow her on social media. It's just worth checking out the way they did it. It's kind of Disney brilliant. I'll check it out, I'll add it to my list. You know, she wants to be Chris Jenner, but she's never gonna be Chris Jenner. Everybody wants to be the Kardashian, everybody wants to be Chris Jenner. So I watched that, and I will say this I finally caught up on Below Deck Med. Oh, so good this season. Great season. Yeah, right. If you're caught up, then you saw that Luke had sex on Nate's bed, got nasty stuff on his sheets, didn't wash it for three days. Everybody repulsive. Can you imagine? Okay, now now here's the thing that the best thing. If Ed's feet are dirty, forget it. I gotta change the sheets. Okay, go through the whole thing. But can you imagine he jizzed, he jizzed on the sheet, and then he allows his friend to sleep in it for three days. Why can't you just I mean, this is what they do, they clean their kinds of cleaners. What are you talking about? But okay, but the best part of the whole thing is their boss knows that he did it. Yeah, they told him. They told Captain Sandy what happened. Poor Captain Sandy. Now Captain Sandy, but I don't need this shit. I'm pretty sure she said, Well, that's one I've never heard before, right? And how disrespectful that is. Years ago, I bit a coworker and I had to go to my boss and get in trouble for biting a coworker. That's such a different time of my life. But I thought that was bad to tell your boss. But to tell your boss that you left Jiz on your boss's sheet. It's he left it on his boss's sheets for three days. Can I just say one thing? For the people that don't know you or this story, I'm gonna get so many comments about what are you talking about? She bit a coworker. But I did. Because I know you did, but it's it's actually fucking not and I didn't get fired. You should have been fired. Who fucking bites a cow? Who bites anybody? Me feels like such a long time. We've been through a lot of therapy about it. We've been through a lot of I'm so much more mature now, people. I don't bite. Anyway, I haven't bit anybody in years. Let me just say, I'm safe. You can be friends with me. I won't bite you. Oh my god, it's great. She just she just got her 10-year chip everyone. But that's what I thought of. I thought of all these different things that bosses have to hear. No, I I agree with you. When you hear that somebody that works for you left Jiz on your sheets for three days, I mean, it's insane. I know a story where somebody looked at somebody else's phone messages and then reacted to it. But the only way this person knew the information is because they looked at their private messages. And then that went to my boss. And you think you've if I'm a boss, I say to myself, what are you talking about? You looked at somebody's private messages. Time out. Stop for one second. Stop the clock. A coworker looked at some other cookers who she doesn't get along with. Private messages. And saw something nagged in. And typed on the phone? No, didn't type, but then proceeded to react to it or make other comments. The boss found out about that. Well, it became so bad that it had to go to the bosses. Which is insanity. Did that person get fired? Nobody gets nothing. It's fired. That's a thing, people. You know how we all walk the earth going, I'm gonna get fired, I'm gonna get fired, I'm gonna get fired, and no one gets fired. Luke, who jizzed, actually left, but he did not get fired. But took himself out. He did, but she did put it in your permanent record. Yes. I'm so glad you watched because I didn't want to tell you. And the chef, who I really like, really liked him. She really liked him. And I don't think she really knows. No, I don't think she knows that part of the story yet. Because she's like, why are you leaving? Yes. And she's so but meanwhile, he was really good at his job. So good. What I don't know because I never remember to do it anymore, is I didn't know if Luke ended up on watching What Happens Live with Andy Cohen because you know that that would be the best topic ever. Oh, yeah, I don't know either. I haven't seen that. I hope he's on. You know Sassy. She did the reunion for the Mormon housewives. Yeah, she loves the Mormon house. And also the other component of this is that Nate, who is Luke's boss, who she's got Jizz on, he just had a baby with Gail, who was his stew last season. Yeah. And she's literally a brand new mother with a newborn baby in an apartment alone in Croatia. I know. So she's calling him like I used to call Rich, going, Can you please come home? I can't take it anymore. And he's on a boat. He can't come home. What was she thinking? She didn't bring someone to help her. I guess they don't really have that much money. I'm just happy that she's there. I think Bravo should have gotten her a baby nurse as a gift as something, Bravo. Bravo. Damn. I'm telling you though, if you look at this format that Disney did, it gives Bravo a run for their money. Really? I'm gonna have to. I kind of like the format. Okay. Listen, I'm in. If it's a new format, I'm in. I'll take a look at it. All right. So then the only other thing that was on this week. Oh, you finished Ransom Canyon. Finally. Yes. No sex. Yeah, what a ripoff. What a ripoff. I feel like I got robbed. And I don't know why, but I'm what I'm seeing all this stuff on social media that it's way down in ratings from the first season. This is one show that actually came back at a reasonable time, right? Didn't take six years. Yeah. So I don't know. I get maybe the second. I mean, I had high expectations myself. You're gonna show me all these hot men and hot women. And I gotta say something. Rich and I just rewatched Friday Night Lights, the first episode last night. Minka Kelly, she looks exactly the freaking same. Exactly. And you know what? We read that article about it, it wasn't about Netflix, but it was about the streaming part where they're trying to figure out if you drop everything at once or not. I was wondering when the Buccaneers came back because I watched it last summer, so I'm like, it should be now. It's not scheduled to come back until the fall. Until 2027. Oh, I thought it was the fall. Are you serious? Yeah, what's taking so long? Like, that's losing interest in the show. That's what it is. The campus is gonna be back in January. That's how you drop in viewers because who cares? There's so much other stuff has come out. Every single person who's producing a show, like off campus, should have the plan for if you want more seasons, here's the storyline. Because what happens is you don't get the green light until they see the numbers. It's all data driven, right? But if you need to start production right away, you need to lock in the cast and have a go or no go time to pull the trigger to get this going because that's what's happening is they're waiting a long time to pull the trigger. They can't get the cast, they can't get the crew, so it takes two years to get the show back. Yeah, it's terrible. But you know what? We saw Spider-Man. Welcome back, Spider-Man. How is it? Listen, Spider-Man rules, he's the best superhero on the planet. He really is. I freaking love him. And oh did you need your tissues? People say bring your tissues. Rich was needed. Rich was crying in Spider Man. All right, don't tell me. Don't tell me. Rich was crying at Spider-Man. I cried at the Idaho murders. I don't cry at Spider-Man. Well, Rich did cry at Spider-Man. I have to ask Dylan if he cried at Spider-Man. Dylan's favorite thing is Spider-Man. But anyway, it says at the end that Spider-Man will return. But the last Spider-Man live action movie was four years ago. Yeah, that's crazy. But Spider-Man's gonna be in the Avengers, so he'll make an appearance. All right. Well, I'm gonna see Spider-Man. Spider Man's freaking awesome. Yeah, I'm happy. Just awesome. Yeah, it's so good. All right, so we have Big Brother. That's all we have, really. Well, yes, but starting this week, we'll have a lot more shows. I know, but last week we had Big Brother. Good week, you guys. Yeah, good week. The thing is, one side of the house is dominating, and you we need a shakeup, and I don't know what happened, so if you do know what happened, don't tell me. But at a certain point, we need a house shakeup because you hate a lopsided house. I love Julie banging the pot. Like, Julie, you're so good, you're so cute. She's the best. I didn't know that Jason was best friends with Frankie Grande. Did you know that? No, how would I know that? Like he's my best friend. I thought it was a good week. I just the only thing they need to eliminate from the show is the back to the future lighting striking when they go to the table. We don't need that. It's brutal. I know. We just don't need it. I did like the video store challenge. The video store, yeah, because we like videos. I love video stores. Yeah, I know. Remember when we used to go to the video store? Yes, I do. Oh, it's the best, you guys. I know. Oh my god, I love the video store. No streaming shit. It was a whole thing. We got to go to the store. At the beginning, they didn't let you reserve. If you got the movie that you wanted, you were psyched as shit, and you were like, I got it. I know, it's so crazy. Then they started letting you reserve. It's a whole chapter of our lives that nobody would get at this age. Everything for this generation is instantaneous. We had to wait for things. I know. We're really good at waiting. Exactly. I say it to my son all the time. He's like, I really need this now. And I'm, I said, patience. It'll come. Patience. We grew up patient. We waited online for everything. We still don't mind. I don't mind waiting. Oh, it's gonna be here in a week. Okay. I don't care. I'm so grateful for this Amazon Prime situation that comes in a minute. Yeah. Every single time. Now Amazon's been doing what they're doing for years. Every single time it shows up immediately, I say, it's a miracle.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna have that in three hours. It's incredible. Do we have anything else? The only thing I wanted to discuss is that this week there's a show coming out on Hulu and FX called The Shards. I think we're gonna like it. But the key for me is that Kaya Gerber, who is Cindy Crawford's daughter, and Homer looks exactly like her. Looks exactly like her. And Homer Gere, who does not look exactly like his dad, Richard Gere, but they're starring together in that show, and their parents were married. I love it. I love it. I'm obsessed with it. I'm obsessed with it. That should be a show. Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford were married for a while. It's not like they were married for a minute. I like the word shard. Well, I always thought shard meant like shot and shit. Shit parts. Like that's a story. So like that's like turning me off. I don't like the name of it either. But this network is it on? So it's it's an FX show, but we can watch it on Hulu. Oh, Hulu, okay. Yeah, but I'm just consumed with the fact they're hanging out in the dressing room and her mother and his father were married. And there's pictures of it all over the world. You think they talk about it? No. Yes! Of course they talk about it. I think they just move on. Like they're fellow. No, they just don't know the weather. Absolutely not. Derek Craft Service going, we could have been brother and sister. He does not look like Richard Gere. No, it's funny because she looks exactly like her mom, and he looks nothing like his dad. No, she looks exactly like her. Yeah, and Richard Gere is in that show, The Agency, which Rich and I finally finished. 10 episodes, 10 hours a show. It took us three and a half weeks to finish it. Ask me what it's about, can't tell you. I know that's why I'm not going back. Don't bother. I'm always obsessed with what the like the looks that people get. I'm obsessed with the fact that Billy Joel's kid looks just like him. And not the mother. Alexa Ray Joel. And not the mother. Right. Only Sailor looks like Christy Brinkley. It's just, yeah. You never see the son. You never see Christy Brinkley's son, but I think his name is Jack or whatever. But Sailor looks like Christy Brinkley, but Alexa Ray Joel looks exactly like Billy. It's just funny. Really funny. All right. Do you have a game for me? I do have a game. When I went to see Spider-Man, I couldn't believe how many people that are in shows we watch are in Spider-Man? Are in Spider-Man. So this is called Superstars and Superheroes Trivia. And it is a multiple choice trivia questions. Look at you having the name. Producer, I'd be so happy. I know. See, because he's a producer. Yeah. Okay. Question number one. Emmy nominee Mark Ruffalo starred this year in HBO's task. What Marvel superhero does he play? Is it A, Aquaman? B, He-Man, C, The Hulk, or D, Thor? I have no idea, but let's go with Isn't he an Avenger? I can't tell you the answers. Okay. So I don't know what he is. Wait, the Hulk? Hulk is a correct. That is correct. Okay, Hulk is an Avenger. Correct. Very good. Okay. Your favorite, Jennifer Garner, played Sidney Bristow on ABC's Alias. She also was just in the show. We watched the five-star summer. What Marvel superhero does she play? A Wonder Woman. B Electra. C Black Widow or D Storm? I've never even heard of the. Let's say Black Widow. No, she's Electra. Okay, I don't even know who that is, but alright.
unknownOh gosh.
SPEAKER_00Jennifer Gardner, please. Which star of the Apple show Shrinking also stars as a Marvel character in the univ in the Marvel universe as the Red Hulk. Is it A, Harrison Ford? B Jason Siegel. C Michael Urie or D, Brett Goldstein. Oh shit. I'm gonna say. What are my choices? Not Brett, not Jason. What are my other ones? Harrison Ford, Jason Siegel, Michael Uri, Brett Goldstein. Michael Uri. No, it's Harrison Ford. Wow. Awesome. Yeah. Love him. Okay, number four. Which one of the stars of the bear was not in a Marvel movie? Shit. Is it A, Iban Mess Bakrak, who plays Richie? Is it B, Lisa Colin Zaez, who plays Tina? Is it C, Jeremy Allen White, who is the bear? Is it D, John Barenthal, who plays Mikey? Which one was not in a Marvel movie? Uh Richie. No, cuz was. He's the thing. And Lisa Colin Zaez, who plays she's in this one, right? She's in Spider Man. Yeah. So is John Barenthal. He's the punisher. Oh my god, everybody's in this movie. The only one who is not is Jeremy Allen White. I only got one right in this game. You have one more question to do. Oh, okay. Question five. Yeah. What TV star from The Last of Us and The Mandalorian starred as Mr. Fantastic? Is it A, Pedro Pascal? B, Timothy Oliphant, C, Jason Siegel, or D, Giancarlo Esposito.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_00Um it freaking gave you the answer pretty much. It's easy. I don't know. You really need to get up on your Marvel characters. I do, I really do. But I like Spider-Man. Let me say the first one. Correct. Pedro Pesta. Alright. Too right. Okay, well, that was a good game. It was a very good game because there's a lot of people in that movie. There were 50 options of different TV stars that are in Marvel movies. I tried to focus on Spider-Man. There's a couple, obviously, that weren't, but there's a lot. When you start watching these Marvel movies, you can't believe it. And then now when The Avengers comes out, yes. The same people are gonna be in it, right? Yes, but there's also crossovers. Yeah. Like there, I don't want to give anything away about Spider-Man, but there were some crossover things in Spider-Man that will also go to the Avengers and other things. I'm gonna go see Spider-Man, but that's one thing that sometimes I say, like I hesitate because I don't follow Marvel. I don't know. Like Rich had to tell me something. Right. That's what I mean. I love Spider-Man, but I'm not gonna get all of the connections and crossovers. And so then sometimes I say, Am I gonna get this movie? Am I really gonna understand it? But of course I'm gonna understand it. But I when you see Spider-Man, I'll tell you the thing that I said to Rich because in the movie theater, everybody goes, Oh, right, you know, and I go, What? Because I didn't know. Right. He's like, I'll tell you later. All right, everybody, you know my line. Stay pickled. That's the new line. That's the new line. We got that. But you still have to say love ya. Love. I am. I was about to say it. Love ya.
