Before becoming an entrepreneur, Alex worked in management and operations in multiple industries (Energy, Telecom, Construction, Retail, Education) for Fortune 100 corporations.
In 2008, Alex co-founded EIS Americas, Inc. (dba Facility Integrated Solutions) to provide sustainable energy solutions for commercial & industrial customers. Facility Integrated Solutions (FIS) now specializes in providing electrical and mechanical services with expertise on national capital rollouts for large accounts.
In 2015, Alex became a principal of Metrotech Media & Light (MT), an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of LED fixtures with a certified Underwriters Laboratory (UL) assembly location.
In 2016 Alex led the acquisition of Energy Automation Systems, a company that was founded in 1978 and had an extensive network of affiliates throughout the world in the energy efficiencies industry. The new company, Energy Integrated Solutions (EIS) expanded its portfolio to include gas, water and asset management and strategy products and services.
In early 2021, FIS acquired a residential HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) company and rebranded it No Excused Heating & Air, to expand its mechanical services contracting.
Alejandro holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) along with a master’s degree in EE and an MBA, all from Cornell University. He speaks Spanish and French. He holds or has held community board positions including Sandy Springs Education Force, Junior Achievement, Boys Scouts, National Society of Hispanic MBAs, Certified Literate Community Program and is a winner of the Georgia Outstanding Citizen Award.
