I had the pleasure of sitting down again with legendary bowhunter, author, conservationist, outdoorsman, master storyteller and now he can add member of the Traditional Bowhunters Hall of Fame to his elite resume, Mr. Gene Wensel. His name is synonymous with traditional archery and fair chase hunting for all the right reasons.

After moving his family to the Bitterroot Valley of Montana in the early 1970's Gene soon built a reputation as one of the most serious and dedicated traditional bowhunters in North America.  Gene has spent over 65 years passionately writing, scouting, studying, and hunting wild whitetail deer.

The hunts, the stories, the insight is worth the price of admission on its own.

Gene revisits some of his most memorable hunts in far off places, some with very special people tagging along. From the cold windy mountains of Montana to the hot and dry plains of Africa, Gene gives the details of some very special memories.

If you are a bowhunter and know of Gene. I don't think you will want to miss this one.
