Hello. Hello and welcome to another episode of Wonder. Boldly. Today I want to talk about an amazing tool called descript and I am using it for podcast editing and I am just loving it so much and it's so powerful and really quite amazing. So I have been geeking out all script and using it to edit my podcast, to edit videos. It is super simple, super robust and I wanted to share it with you. So let me tell you some really basic things. So first of all, it's descript, descript and you can download it for free.

So download it and start playing with it and try it out. You are going to absolutely love it. It will help you create so much content. You can create a video or audio, doesn't matter, whichever you prefer. And then you can repurpose that for social media, for your podcast, for your newsletter. So let me tell you how it works. You can record right in descript itself. You can upload a recording into descript.

It doesn't have to be a video, it can be audio only. It's your choice. And what it does is it transcribes your audio in text format. You can go in and edit the audio by editing the text. So let's say you said two reps instead of two sets. You're talking, you're doing your podcast episode or your video and you say two reps and you're like oh shoot, I meant to say two sets. So you just say two sets. You don't have to start over, you don't have to redo anything.

You just say two sets and keep going. And then when you edit you just delete or strike through. I recommend strike through instead of delete, but it's a personal preference. But you highlight where you said two reps, strike through it or delete it and it'll be automatically gone from your audio, from your video. It is amazing. It's amazing. I can't tell you how fantastic it is. I'm totally geeking out over it.
