[00:00:00] Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to another episode of Wonder Boldly. Today, I want to talk about no regrets. I want to talk about making memories and I want to remind you that
[00:00:16] you are amazing and you touch people's lives. So I decided to do this episode because. As you know, I'm a podcast producer and I also take care of elderly patients I am not a clinician. I am a caregiver and one of my patients sadly passed away I was planning to go see her after I got back from vacation this week and I found out that she had passed away.
[00:00:44] So though I spent a lot of time with her, I still feel I should have gone to see her before I went on vacation. So I'm feeling sad about that. So I want to remind us and remind myself in sharing this that if you feel something on your heart whether it is to say hello to a stranger, whether it is to hold the door for somebody, whether it is to go visit somebody in a nursing home or spend time with family, whatever it is.
[00:01:12] To take that as an opportunity to listen to that and do that desire. I feel like I was being called to go see her and I let life and busyness and all of that get in the way and thought, when I get back I will go see her. And now I don't have that opportunity to do that. And so, yes, I'm sad about that. I feel very blessed for the time I had with her and we had a great time together. She was 89 and she was a firecracker when I first met her a couple years ago.she and I would laugh and we would joke with each other. And I just really enjoyed spending time with her. And as she got sicker, I [00:02:00] was able to care for her and take care of some of her needs, which I feel really good about.
[00:02:04] So I don't have any regret in the sense of I should have done more or I
[00:02:11] feel like I didn't serve in the capacity that I wanted to. I am just sad that I didn't go see her when I felt nudged to go see her.
[00:02:21] And it's just a reminder to listen to our, whatever you want to call it, your intuition, your desires that are on your heart, to really tune in and be present. And if you can, I know life is busy, but if you can
[00:02:39] pay attention to what you desire, to what you're thinking about, to what's on your heart. And if you can act on that.
[00:02:49] So really the message here is to trust yourself. Trust the way you move forward in life. Trust that if you feel something and you want to share it, share it.
[00:03:03] Because I do believe we are all here to serve each other, help each other,
[00:03:08] make a difference in each other's lives.
[00:03:11] So as I close out this really short episode, my message is trust yourself. Thank you so much for listening and remember, continue to wonder boldly.
