So as you head down instead of heading down to ribbons office, you see a junction at the far end and you move down a couple of extra sections in this underground tunnel network. And then off to one side, you see a badly written sign saying fight pit. And there's not much else written on the science not much more information, there's just an arrow pointing off to one side and that's where that noise that cheering is emanating from that that you can hear as you get up closer, the chanting the yelling and it's just, you know, reverberating around. It's a coffee of noise. It's it's people shouting support and, and just noise and jeers and as you move down that way and into the vicinity, you can hear the noise being channelled down that passageway directly to your ears. And you can hear people shouting you know, party, put a five on it. I'll have five more getter and a lot of commotion that's come racing down this tunnel in this noise you can see the crowd or can you have heard all this kind of sounds before and to you It sounds more like a bar fight. Maybe some sort of big strap or a punch up. But it does have that kind of vibe, the noise feeling to it that you may have been involved with in the past. But it's hard to make out exactly what's going on without moving further on down and joining in but that child very much like a

Paul, right, what as you to make your way down this tunnel, you can see some lights and silhouettes. And you can see this crowd ahead of you. And clambering over each other there's jostling for position. And as you move around, you can see hands sort of waving money coin purse has been shaken energy approach, you sort of see people come around with small notepads, notebooks and they seem to be taking, taking money and making annotations and notes and taking a tote. And you can hear beastial voices coming from the middle of this chamber and now that you're approaching and you're joining this crowd at over the top, the sound of the cheering and the chanting and the cause for money and bets towards the collectors who are moving around. You know taking those bets really work in the crowd. You can see them you can see that there is a top recessed pit that just drops down into the middle and people are jostling to get a bit of pit down over into this pit. And you can hear the sounds of a couple of different animals. Just absolutely go for it tooth and nail and it's there's a like a feline cat type creature and a strange almost a high pitch kind of squeak, scuffle noise and you can hear the scuffling of dirt as it's moving around. Down in that pit moving and getting better position in that pit area.

Yeah, do a perception check for me. You enter into this main arena area 1717. So, scanning the room This used to be some half hours, there's some drown, there's some half drown the, the compression you can tell them apart, the complexion is slightly different so you're able to sort of pick them out. So even you don't recognise them. They look like you vaguely in passing, but they carry on doing the right thing. You also see some humans and some dog are down up from the underdark. Working these these centres, there's a couple of halflings and just a probe mix of unsavoury types that are gathered in around this fight pit stop orcon or rose mousse. You also see a dwarf who catches your eye catches your attention at just a glimpse as you scan the crowd, someone moving in between but they look very familiar to. But you can see three individuals who are moving around taking the wages, collecting the

tonnage, what's gonna happen is what I know is the third dwarf, a completely out of character. I'm gonna go oh, my God, Raven, come with me.

I recognise. He seems completely enraptured by what he he can see down in the pit. He even even aware of your presence. And as you guys approach almost out of politeness than anything else, he just kind of side steps, little steps to one side to give you a little bit spaces. He's taught adjusting his view to look down into the pit and see what's going on beneath.

Well, as you look down, you'll notice that there's a large, dark, blue bluish hue arachnid. But is fighting a large, dark feline type creature

I like creature. I mean, I've got five goals not spider like a thing a little bit. That thing is awful.

So every time one of them goes to make an attack, the arachnid sort of vanishes out of sight I've completely disappeared and then reappears and slides across the desert as it comes racing at the size of this six legged feline beast. And as you're watching it, the this large cap with strange tentacles off his shoulder. It seems to be in a different place as though he would sort of move from one place to to another or be in a nother place. And you know, every time that the the spider disappears, reappears and makes it attack, this large beast then whips these tentacles out from his shoulders. Trying to strike at this arachnid this oversized, mass massive spider that's darting around this inner den, doing its best to inflict wounds upon the this large dark beast And it's like some crazy light shows. Each of them sort of uses the light and flickers in and out and shifts position. The spider. manoeuvring and there are several shops in, take some breath and you can see just how engaged Bahn is with this whole fight that's happening down in this pit in front of him.

you did, sir. Right. So. So as you call out your money is collected. Yeah, that is more zipping around the fighting pit and more money being collected. And you've put in your coins worth in trying to look for it. And as you look back, and he looks at the purview of ours, and he looks concerned, but you're not 100% sure why given the way the fight is going. And then, as it sort of zips rounds, the large feline beast darchei moves to one corner, and is then that the spider from sliding across the desert to a position looks like it's gonna leave pretty faces out of sight. reappears on the wall behind the beast climbs in underneath, on its back. And now it's now on the shoulders on the back of its and the fangs arminianism lightning quick and that underneath the tentacles, fangs extract legs tight, and it drives these fangs down and this way you possibly even see them pierced out the bottom of this beast. And it latches on the pair of them just sink to the floor together. And the cat like creature gives our last sort of whimpering meow or how pierces the ears momentarily. And the whole thing just kind of shakes and bites and the weird sort of phase like oscillates and oscillates. And they're strange a fraction of the energy is drawn out of this piece that is then just laid flat on the spider begins to consume. as it were all around the boy there was a mixture of cheese, booze and all sorts of shots. And Ben next goes bad Give me my money. As as people sort of filter out some hang around for the next event. But But Ben looks on it up at your can. And he says we should go somewhere else and Darla had this over to you. I need to come back and win my money again. So I can maybe help you out a little bit as well. But let's go to somewhere more private.

You would know that the high house has the sort of high quality garments. And they're sometimes used in a more theatrical sort of usage. There are other costumes and costumers. But if you wanted it readily available, you could go to the high house which is right in the middle of the upper city that has a more theatrical costume that you could go shop subconsciously still too soon to see what takes your fancy. Like in the wide for example,

Okay. Okay. So they acknowledge the purview as citizens in the street and the upper city. They don't seem to accost you or anything like that. Use me. You see, small entourage is our watch personnel. They seem to be accompanying a patriarch, or maybe a noble and they seem to be heading south, by the looks of it down through the streets. There's lots of people dressed in more sort of office clerk type of robes and outfits now, and there seems to be as you get close to the high school a lot of footfall. There's people rushing around with paperwork, people running around with sort of barrister, lawyer sort of weeks. And as you're moving around, you're able to gain access. if you so choose, as you approach the open gates towards the high Hall, there doesn't seem to be anyone sort of guarding or preventing access, I should say. So, it just seems to be this hub this hive of political, financial and clerical activity.

They're going backwards and forwards you do spot, one mail clerk and he's sort of wearing the black guards used to be carrying different bits of paperwork, some scroll tubes and books, too. Sort of folder pulled into one arm. The small short, tight wire we give sort of minister of straight and he starts moving past he seems to have the symbol of the Flaming Fist in Boston to the fabric of his outfit. And he's not dashing, but he's certainly striding with purpose and looking a little bit frazzled as he then starts to move past you.
