Thanks, Tyler. What started out as a usual end to the working day has turned into a tragedy this evening, when an explosion in the building not far from my location caused devastation for so many. Police have cordoned off the area as fire crews continue their efforts to put out the Blaze. Traffic is being cleared to allow ambulances to get casualties to the local hospitals. So if your journey brings you into the district tonight, you may want to allow extra time out on the roads.

While you are supporting Rafa as he moves into this lab and begins to sort of gain access to this this hard drive this this hardware you as you sort of move into this sort of garden almost position notice a room at the end of this small section of corridor the door appears to have been blasted out as into the corridor it's a little bit damaged but it's it's one that the helix lab team have so far ignored as well.

I kind of look a bit bamboozled at you and be like, okay, don't go far. And it goes check out the room.

As you sort of move to the doorframe and look in you can see that this is what is left of at least a a lab the table in the middle is is is angled on a diagonal upwards, as though sort of fit for someone to be laid in an upright position looking around the light is focused or whether the main light fitting would be in the ceiling is focused very much down singly onto this table scattered around the floor those seems to be trays of of various equipments is destroyed intravenous shuttle trolley hanging a comment what they called sort of scattered across the floor. And there appears to be at least on one side of the of this bed that seems to be remaining in somewhat intact there seems to be some sort of wrist or arm restraint. The one that would be on the side closest to you appears to have been torn or broken and pushed over into one corner there seems to be some some loose bits of paper as well.

It has Rafa um, what a rose anyone who's in the room off of their feet down to the ground. And at the same time, some of their eyes, some of their hands go up to their eyes. As they feel like a almost like a like a stuffy sensation like a like a burning as if the I can't describe it any other way. Then, as if their pupils are like the actual people themselves his stuff or something. And without hesitation, I turns to turns to you. grabs Ross's arms like we're going we're going right now.

So as you two managed to get past them as they're sort of struggling with their vision, hide is growling and grumbling and swearing. He starts shouting for his other members of the team elsewhere on the floor. You emerge into the corridor. You've got the room you came in on, which is a restroom effectively and you have the rest of the Building potentially which is on fire still

Alright, as you guys disappear, round the corner off down the corridor and in heading towards the fire escape stairwell. You can feel as you enter it, the heat still sort of emanating out from the structure of where it doesn't matter if the fire is out that the heat being released from the building is still immense. You can feel yourselves sort of warming and being ever so slightly toasted from the structure itself. As you disappear off into that stairwell we sort of go back to hide who's sort of rubbing his eyes as best he can. And he taps the the comms unit on his helmet. Dr. Edwards.

As he clicks off the comms unit, he shouts on a different comms network to the others, and you will see them touch a sort of a pad on their armour and they sort of ghost out of sight. Okay, like a cloaking device almost envelops each and every one of them singly, as they begin to an all you hear is what's left of the foot for moving off through the structure as rougher and I own a you descend down to the city, or down several flights of stairs. Again, Heaton, a wisps of smoke, and smoulder sort of almost in a chimney like fashion of this fire escape as you sort of weave in and navigate your way down, you do get to a fire escape at the bottom. And as, as you kick it open, you just blow almost blinded yourselves by fire engine lights, police, car lights, EMT sort of lights and things like that. And a couple of short of firefighters come over and sort of guide you away from the building. We've got two, we've got two survivors, and they start leading your way to one of the ambulances.

So I'm actually that's kind of interesting, because I kind of like the sign in between. I mentioned was like this, this dynamic team was like looking out for her. And, you know, they're not to pardon me, but he still sees her as someone who's young again. Like, like, like new, right? Like, like a young person and big dangerous girls. So he's kind of looking out for her. Um, but at the same time, he's his bodyguard. So they're like, they're constantly trying to protect the other as if they're the the one who's supposed to be doing the protecting right like they both see each other as the Knights in shining the sanctuary. And it's just it's it's kind of a cute dynamic, honestly, it's good. It's good. Yeah, yeah.

So she does kind of she is trying to be like a knight in shining armour, but a bit more, let's say realistic where, you know, it's not the pretty filler, man, but the guy in the thick armour with a lot blood like that. I'm also gonna say that it's been a full three minutes. And we might already be antagonistic with Dr. Edwards depending on what we find on every thought at least we get like a few sessions, but no, it was it was the second session

I'm gonna put up a front against the doctor which they already kind of are. They got seems almost like the natural progression. And the doctor who could not give two lessons. Oh, shit, and is technically the one with more power in the situation. Right? The dynamic is. It's interesting. It's good. It's good stuff. I'm really curious to see how it's gonna turn out.

Then I think I also like the, the general lineup of our group, because it's really interesting what what you guys are doing and especially you Chris and to a certain extent, I think you Adam. So I'm really really looking forward to how we are going to consolidate somehow if ever. I also like this relationship from Rafa and Ayana and he Rafa kind of got into here. Exactly like you said, I i've ever that Rafa is kind of trying to take care of aiyana because yes, she is young. And yes, she is kind of inexperienced, and he wanted to keep her from this stress that he has already gone through before. And he also is trying to keep up a cool face and being like the cool guy and for him, it's really stressful that off the bat, we already he already had to make some sacrifices and show that he is a vulnerable to, but he got a lot of respect for you. Because if you hadn't attacked the guards, he would have punched tide and the famous part acekard and tried to grab you and and go. So

And he will, and his trust has kind of cracked out a little bit, especially now that that he wanted that. Edwards wanted to kidnap them, essentially, even though that they were going to go to him anyway. So that's a hurt point from him.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting him to be the exasperated dad of the crew, but apparently, that's where we're going. So, it looks like we're gonna have either a new power tag or a crew improvement that we can sort that out after. I think Rafa and Edwards had the most meaningful interaction of the player characters, mostly because Rafa wasn't being cocky shit for a second there, actually.

He didn't use the CRM at all but there really wasn't a whole lot of occasion to us. So aside from, you know, bursting Dr. Adams like a grape. But it seemed like it Was overkill for a workplace dispute?

Refer I've added an attention because you use a weakness during one of your moves. So you have an attention on one of your those always future sessions. So Labyrinth is has an attention on it, because of your use of the weakness. Um, we do have a crew improvement. And I think there's one that makes sense. Is it black sheep? Yes, it is black sheep. And of course, the obvious black sheep is Iona. Straight out of left field. I black sheep says she's one crew member who's the black sheep of the crew when the black sheep of the crew acts against your mystery or identity. It's expected. So it doesn't weaken your crew, for everyone else overlooking the black sheep's actions does not count again. How does acting against your mystery or identity either you can choose new black sheep at the beginning or end of each session? So obviously, I think the doctor should be the black sheep.

Iona Starling: 42:31

Well, okay, hold up. Hear me out. Hear me out. Specifically the black sheep is about going against the mystery. Right? Not the crew itself. entity. Yeah, the mystery or identity, right? So it doesn't necessarily mean you don't like you know, you guys. You're the one who doesn't get along with the rest of the crew. It's the one who's most likely not to do the mystery. But Dr. Edwards probably out of all of us, is the most likely to stick to the mystery. No matter the consequences.

Dr. Henry Edwards: 43:06

Yeah, I think that's fair. Maybe Iona is the black sheep because she doesn't necessarily agree that the ends justify the means.

yeah, I kind of agree because Edwards and Rafa kind of see eye to eye and that's also the reason that he got serious for that moment because he understood that that situation is kind of above him. And he kind of had to go along and see that if this is really something that or that was a problem that was really an accident and it had to be resolved. And yeah, that's kind of where Edwards and Rafa meet more or less

that person with a brother, like everyone else, it was your brother. Like she was literally like, Yeah, I know your power can help people. But also you're not getting put into danger. So that's it. That's her.
