FOMO is real. How do I parent it?

FOMO = Fear of Missing Out. Your child says, "I feel left out because my friends are talking about Fortnite at the lunch table and I have no idea what they're saying." Or maybe they say, "I saw pictures on Instagram of all my friends at a party, but I wasn't invited." Whatever the circumstances might be, learning strategies for parenting FOMO is helpful for raising kids in this culture.
