Welcome to On the Way. This is Tony Crisp and this is Podcast 1464. On the Way podcast is going to be different today because I have a different emphasis. I want to call everyone who's listening to my voice to pray for the President of the United States. We are going through some times like the world has never seen. There is anarchy in many of the places in Western Europe, and it seems that no one is in control. There is a great battle going on in the Middle East and in Washington and throughout parts of the world where there are great influencers and power. And it's not a battle so much of armament and of armies that is of this world, but I want to talk to you about spiritual warfare. And the reason I'm asking you to pray for President Trump and whoever the President is, I would be asking you to pray for them during a time like this. You see, as I read the Bible and as have been a student of the Word of God now for decades, I am constantly scouring the Word of God for relevance and for direction throughout the good and bad times of nations. I believe that the enemy of our souls, the devil himself, deals with world leaders. We must understand that the greatest tool that Satan has is not fear, it is not any other attribute that you would come up with except this deception. He is a deceiver, he is a slanderer. And in my lifetime, I have never heard so much slander from world leaders. Now there is a time to call out to God's people to understand truth. Islam is of the devil, it is a false religion, and it is totally contrary to the teachings of the Bible and is the opposite of Christianity, of followers of Jesus, ever how you want to put it, we are facing an enemy that has deceived the world and is deceiving the world. Countries, nations are under the control of the evil doctrine of Islam. It is a deceptive religion. I hear people say all the time, Well, there are people who are peace loving people and they are Islamic. They are Moslems. Listen to me. If they are peace loving people and can get along with anybody, and they are not wanting to dominate those around them and the world, they haven't understood the religion they claim to follow. Because Islam is a dominating religion and ideology, and it dominates and has through history, it has been at the edge of a sword that they have conquered. Having studied the life of Muhammad, I can tell you that he is not like some of the Moslems that we see on Fox News or those that you might know or have gone to school with. But Muhammad was like bin Laden. He would be like the Ayatollah. He would be radical, as we would call him, because that is the nature of the religion. See, there's a lot of people that say they're followers of Jesus, but it's not the Jesus of the Bible. There's a lot of folks that say that they are Christian, but they do not believe in the Bible as the Word of God, or as the Word of God when it comes against something of the culture or something that they just don't believe to be so, and they become the final authority. I remember the What Would Jesus do movement. I never did go along with it then and I do not now. Because what that said was it always asked the question, well what would Jesus do? Well, all we have to do to know what Jesus would do is read the Bible. Because what they meant by that many times was, and I know a lot of good people were caught up in that, but what they meant many times is what do I feel like Jesus would have done? The Jesus that I want to believe in, the Jesus who was not righteous, the Jesus who did not believe in justice, the Jesus who uh was soft on sin, all of those kinds of things, because most of the time when I had to deal with those who were continually trying to figure out what Jesus would do, they were always coming down on a belief system that was opposite of the Bible. Well, you see, there are people who are born into Islam, they don't know anything else, they are not wanting to kill people or what, but they don't know uh the Quran. They don't know what the Quran says, and they haven't read it. They just hear what their parents have said, like many in the West, who are quote, born into the Catholic Church, or they're born into the Episcopalian family, or they're born into a family that is evangelical, and they know all the language, but they've never experienced a personal relationship with Jesus. And when you come to know Jesus in saving faith, in the saving faith way, Jesus becomes your life. He is precious to you, to those who believe he is precious. And he becomes the center of your life. That's what all the Bible teaches. And even in the types and shadows of the Old Testament, God was central to everything. He wasn't over on the peripheral, he was center of everything. Even the worship of ancient Israel, the tabernacle, the temple, it was the center of the nation. When the ancient tribes moved in the wilderness, they only moved when the manifest presence of God moved. And then they broke down the portable worship center and it led the way. And then when they got to where God wanted them to stop, the first thing that was put up was the worship center, and all of the camp was built around it. It was the center of everything. In other words, God was the center of the nation, he was the center of their lives, and what God was trying to do was to show the people that God is central in everything. And so what I believe is going on right now is I believe that the enemy of our souls, the devil himself, is trying to deceive the leadership of America into thinking that we can make a deal with the devil. We can make a deal somehow, and that a deal is more important than anything. Listen, a deal is only as good as the paper it's written on. That's all. Because what makes a deal stick is accountability. And the people that you're doing a deal with, if they're not trustworthy, which the Persians have shown that they're not, and I'm not talking about the Persian people necessarily, I'm talking about the leadership of Persia, of Iran, and that is the I Tolas. Those who are in charge are radical Islam as they are called today, but they believe what the Quran says, and the only thing they understand is brute force. That's the only thing that will bring them to their knees. They have to be wiped out. Our president is really into the art of the deal, but he's not the chief. God is. And you and I know that as followers of Jesus. I'm not talking about downing the president or talking ill of him. I'm telling you we need to pray for him because anybody can be deceived, and the more that you rely on yourself, and just by what he says, he does. And he talks about himself more than he talks about anyone else. And because of that, I believe that he is open to being deceived. And I want to tell you, we need to pray for him. We need to pray for our nation. We need to pray for those that are in harm's way. And we need to ask God to give us a resounding victory, not just for America's sake, but for Israel's sake, because the enemy of every believer and follower of Jesus, and the enemy of this world and of mankind is the devil himself, and he is a great deceiver. And without the protection of God and without the protection of the Holy Spirit and the angels of God, then I assure you our president can be deceived and can lead this nation the wrong way. And this is not a political statement. This is a spiritual statement because we're involved in a spiritual war. This is not a political war, that's just the tool that's being used. This is a spiritual war. And the enemy wants to destroy this nation, he wants to destroy our president, he wants to destroy anything and anyone that stands for truth and the word of God. So today I want to call you to prayer with me. And I want to ask you to join me in prayer, and that in Jesus' name that a hedge would be put around our president, and that his eyes would be opened, that he could see very clearly what's going on. That those advisors that are around him that are not for Israel and are isolationist and not willing to stand for God's people, Israel, and they are God's people whether you like it or I like it or whether they like it. They are God's people. And the covenant that God made with Abraham is forever. It's not a covenant of Sinai. It's not a conditional covenant, it's an unconditional covenant. And I want you to pray for our president. I love him and I pray that God would protect him. Because those few that are around him that do not see clearly what's going on, they can be deceived as well. I want you to pray for Marco Rubio, our Secretary of State. I believe Marco Rubio loves Jesus. I believe that he trusts the word of God. I believe he's got the best head on his shoulders from a spiritual and divine perspective more than anyone that's around the president right now. And I want you to pray for Mike Huckabee, that God would use him and let him find favor with the president. And uh Marco Rubio would find favor with the president. I am on a different page than J.D. Vance at this point when it relates to this war and to Israel. And I'm not speaking ill of our vice president. I love him, I pray for him, I pray for his wife, I pray for his family, I pray for the protection of every one of them. But we need to pray that God would open up the eyes of our president and give him wisdom, divine wisdom, and that he would stand firmly against the rulers of Persia, of Iran, and that he would not be so interested in making a deal, but in a complete victory. And we could see the Middle East go through an extended time of peace because we know that one day that the enemy will overrun that area and overrun the rulers, and they will all turn against Israel. The entire world will, and that includes the United States in my interpretation of Scripture. And so I pray that God would spare Israel, that God would spare America, that we would live and have a time of great prosperity and a great time of peace and a great time, most of all, of revival. So join me right now as we pray. And pray throughout the day and pray throughout the night that God would give our president clarity of thought, clarity of perspective, that he would be free from the enemy's deception, and it would be just like his eyes would be opened and that he would see clearly. I'm not talking about politics. I'm not talking about a deal. I'm talking about the nation of the United States and the nation of Israel. Israel is surrounded by demonic people and demonic led nations. And we need to pray that God's shielding hand would be upon them and that they would stand strong, and God would give Israel and America a supernatural victory that it'd be obvious that God has done it so that God would get the glory. Please pray with me. Father in heaven, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I pray that you would put a hedge of protection around our president and around his cabinet and around the leaders of Israel, that they could have their eyes opened, that they would have divine wisdom, that they would be able to make clear, godly decisions, those that would be pleasing to you. I pray that you would spare our nation, spare the nation of Israel, that we might live in peace for a long period of time. Lord, I know I've read your book over and over, I know what's coming in the future, but God, would you push that off into the future, where our children and our grandchildren could have a long season of peace and prosperity? And Lord, I pray this so that many would come to see you as the great God of creation and salvation, and that you would grant repentance to our president, repentance to those around him, that you would give those who love Jesus, truly love Jesus, and are not in it for their own self and selfishness, but in it to bring honor and glory to your name. Lord, I pray that you would let them find favor with our president and with those around him that will influence him the most. Lord, lift the fog from our president's eyes, that you would give him clarity of speech. Lord, clean up his mind, clean up his mouth, grant him salvation, O God, and grant him repentance, true repentance, and bring him to the point to where he acknowledges you as the God of heaven, not just with his lips, but with his life, and that you would give him a hunger to know you in a personal way, like he's never known, that he would learn to look to the Word of God, the Bible for leadership, and for those around him who seem to be religious, but that are leading him astray, and not giving him truth, but telling him what he wants to hear. God, I pray that you would grant them boldness to speak the truth. May they even be amazed at the boldness that you give them to speak the truth in love, giving honor to the office and the man who is president. So Lord, thank you for the time I'm having now with my friends all over the world, and for those that will hear this, that will think this is about politics, God grant them a heart to understand that my desire is for our president to be protected, our nation to be protected, for the nation of Israel to be protected, and that you, O God, and your name would be lifted high, and that you would be honored, that you would be magnified, and the forces of Islam and the devilish religion and ideology that it is would be thwarted and would be revealed for what it is, a lying tongue. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. May God richly bless you. For on the way, this is Tony Chris.
