Show Notes

Long before COVID-19, Vernon Jones has been advocating for students and teachers of color in Denver Public Schools and has been calling for improvements in order to create more equitable experiences.
During COVID-19, while this podcast has been exploring how organizations can look different and emerge stronger, Vernon was having the exact same conversations about the local community because there is no better time to change than now.
While the national conversation about race has largely been focused on policing, the same conversation needs to happen about education.
