Dexter, cracking way to uh start off this weekend at uh Nock Hill in the dry at the moment. We'll maybe talk about the rain in a second, but a really good free practice session for you.

Yeah, pretty good. Just managed to run through a couple of things. At least with here it's laps quite short. You can get a good few laps in practice instead of it being a short session. But no, pretty happy with that. I think we've got a couple of bits to improve, but for a baseline that's good. Did you run both tyres during that session? Er well we only done a run on the soft tires. Like we we scrubbed the mediums for later in the weekend, but for just the for actual fast running, we were just on the soft tires, so um it's the easiest tyre to be honest. What's the delta between the two tyres here? It depends track to track, I guess. On the surface, I mean I I normally find at least half a second, really, medium to soft, it can be more anywhere, but it just sort of depends. Some tracks we've been to, it's been more or less, it just sort of depends on the tar mark, I guess.

What makes a good lap round here? Everybody loves coming here, it's a cracking circuit, huge crowd as well. But what makes a good lap around here?

To be honest, I don't know because I I thought that it's sort of smooth and like um just getting everything on point, whereas you know the lap I done earlier was pretty rough and rough and ready, it wasn't nice to look at. Um so I think it probably depends on your style. If you can get away with hustling it round, you can here, but also in a race space you need to be nice and consistent because it's easy to make a mistake.

Let's use the R word, shall we? It's dry at the moment, but rain is potentially forecast. That's gonna shake things up a bit, isn't it?

No, I think so. I mean definitely tomorrow it looks like it's 50-50, and then we'll see whether we get rain for the qualifying in race, but we'll find out. We're on a we're on a hill and you can't plan anything here.

Yeah, exactly. I mean we dropped a couple points at Truxton. Um you know it wasn't horrific, but erm, yeah, we just wasn't strong enough. So hopefully that weekend we can sort of stuff out and get back on top. Fantastic. Great start of the weekend. Well done, Dexter. Thank you very much.
