Welcome Back to another episode of Downtime with Hajer ! Today I will be discussing the critically acclaimed Oscar nominated film Tàr (dir. Todd Field) as well as the not so critically acclaimed Babylon (dir. Damien Chazelle). I loved both of these movies so much and they gave me a lot to discuss but mostly a lot of questions to ask. In this episode I delve into questions of identity, power and abuse as well as the truth of Hollywood and the power of great art. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed making it.
