In the second part of our interview with Dan Andrews, we reflect on the most recent positions he held within the OECD and the Treasury.

Dan completed a Bachelor of Economics/Arts at UQ with first class honours and the university medal back in the year 2000. Since then he has spent time working at the RBA, The Treasury, the OECD and he also completed a Master of Public Administration at Harvard University. He now specialises in public policy with a specific focus on the implications of technological advancement and changes in the labour market on global productivity.

Additionally, within the episode, Dan reflects on how covid impacted his work, what would he do differently if he was back in university studying economics and a few more advice for today students.
