In the 90s, Damon West had a promising football career ahead of him until injury intervened and drug addiction and a life of crime took him over. After being convicted and sentenced 65 years in prison, Damon transformed himself while incarcerated, made parole on his first shot after only 7 years and became a beacon in his community, best selling author, professor, and motivational speaker.
