ReFashion Workshop
Fast fashion doesn't want you to be happy — and that's exactly where this podcast begins.
ReFashion Workshop is the show for fashion lovers, conscious consumers, and everyday people who sense that something is deeply wrong with the way we buy, wear, and discard clothing — but don't yet know what to do about it. Backed by lead scientists in climate change and toxicology, NGOs, environmental activists, and policymakers, each episode delivers honest facts alongside practical tools to help you build a more authentic, intentional, and pleasurable relationship with what you wear.
Your host, Courtney Barriger, is an award-winning eco fashion artist, designer, author, and spiritual voyager with twenty years inside the fashion industry. Her apparel line Holding Court is featured in Vanity Fair and GQ, won the Sustainability Award at the iHollywood Film Festival, and earned her the title "It Girl" on Oprah's WE tv network. She has written investigative culture pieces for the LA Times, been honored as "The Future of Fashion" by United Nations non-profit Fashion Fights Poverty, and serves as a guest lecturer at universities across the U.S. and internationally.
Courtney is also a journalist and seasoned whistleblower — someone who has taken personal risks to expose uncomfortable truths about power and industry. She brings that same unflinching honesty to every conversation about fast fashion, human trafficking in the apparel supply chain, toxicity in our fabrics, and the science of sustainable living.
This isn't a guilt trip. It's a mindset shift — one practice at a time.
Whether you're just beginning to question your closet or you're ready to become a steward of the Earth, ReFashion Workshop meets you where you are and walks with you toward something better.

This episode of E.S.Now is going to be a little different. To honor an innovative and expansive collaboration spanning art and environmental regeneration, from the ocean to the moon, we are having an open conversation with the leaders of BitBasel art gallery who is sending a micro-engraved solid gold disc or artwork curated by, Refi Tulum blockchain and regeneration, onto a rocketship to the moon, literally. This is a conversation between the gallery owner, curators and some of the artists themselves as we reach touch the moon and save the oceans simultaneously.
The Ocean SDG 14 Collection focuses on “Life Below Water.” This collection will be exhibited during Miami Art Week and is part of BitBasel’s Lunar Mission—sending digital artworks to the moon as a timeless message of care for our planet. In this unusual episode, we are turning over the mic to Sandra Ponce De Leon of Refi-Tulum, to be the host. With special guests, co-founder of BitBasel Scarlett Aranared, and several of the participating artists that Sandra will introduce, including myself. This is a larger conversation about ocean conservation and the length of humanity's reach, that you will find absolutely fascinating. Let’s jump right in.
